US hospitals and clinics have billed out nearly $120 million in gender-related medical treatments to minors since 2019, putting thousands of children on an expensive and irreversible treadmill requiring lifelong upkeep — with the blessing of doctors and lefty politicians.
The bombshell report from President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services also claims insurance fraud is rampant, with evidence suggesting pediatric gender clinics and children’s hospitals are creatively cooking the books to get young patients treatment.
Those with the highest billings — which encompassed more than 5,500 surgical procedures and 8,500 courses of hormone treatments — were some of the largest children’s hospitals in the country, including Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and Boston Children’s Hospital, HHS found.
The unsettling findings have prompted the Trump administration to launch a criminal investigation.
The 64-page report, titled “Wolves in White Coats,” documents what the agency calls irreparable “harm to America’s youth” inflicted over the last decade or so by healthcare providers and hospital systems, who have allegedly lined their pockets by promoting costly procedures and treatments for gender-confused minors.

There is a whole section on how long it should take to save a million bucks and how much you should be able to save by different points in a medical career as a doctor in various specialties. The jackpot is to own a share of an ambulatory center of just about any kind. Urology, cardiac cath lab, outpatient surgical center etc. A share cost is mentioned as being $150K that pays out in one year and spins the same amount of cash year after year. In other cases such a share is part of joining the practice and contingent on a vesting period. Sweet.

There is just a tremendous amount of preoccupation in both sites with making money, whining, burn out, quitting and what feels like a hell of a lot of entitlement. A lot of us have had hard jobs with very long apprentice programs after our education.
If I had been as serious about and attentive to my work as what I have seen as a lot and common in the medical profession I should have been fired. I would have been because the economic losses would have been horrific and people would probably have been killed not to mention the environmental disasters. Many in my profession had the same level of responsibility. I can’t recall any of us so preoccupied with money and other things as these two sites indicate. None of us ever saw anything like “Hard Hat and Calculator Investor”.
I can’t think of any other profession that has their own web sites so preoccupied with money. It is disgusting to me.

Well with that aside, I spent four days in the hospital over an arm injury. The staff kept checking my vitals ever four hours, day or night. They’d come in like 11pm the 2am, then 4am, every three hours. They’d bill $460 each time. My vitals never changed and were good every time.
The simplest way to end this nonsense is to remove all statutes of limitations on transgender treatments. If a minor transition victim ever decides they were wrongly transitioned, the doctors and medical facilities involved can NEVER get out of legal liability for said malpractice. Good luck getting malpractice insurance after that.
In 2018 Dr Taylor gave a lecture at Vanderbilt grand rounds addressing the revenue stream that the hospital would receive from “transgender care”. She claimed a phalloplasty, in the immortal words of Rush Limbaugh, addingadicktomy, would generate $100k. Matt Walsh summed it up well.

It wasn’t that long ago that modern culture condemned the practice about 300-400 years ago of castrating young boys before puberty so their voices would not change. (But at least some of them could really sing.) And Western culture recently condemned the persistent Muslim practice of female genital mutilation. (But they had religious reasons.)
Have we now changed our views on surgical or hormonal mutilation of minors?

Why in the world did our insurance companies compensate these hospitals and doctors for such horrible procedures? Is there no common sense anymore?
