In 2005, a truly bipartisan Congress passed the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act—text here--in response to lawfare against gun makers. Their tactic was suing manufacturers for the criminal misuse of their lawful products by people over whom they had no control or knowledge. It was akin to suing Ford for the damage caused by drunk drivers, an obvious violation of the intent and text of tort law. It was an evil, but ingenious strategy. Gun makers aren’t among the most prosperous companies, and even if they won nearly every nuisance lawsuit, anti-liberty/gun cracktivists could bankrupt them with legal...

🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(6/20/26)[Prayer]PersonalitiesRuth 1:1-18 1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. 2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there. 3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was...

A shooting erupted during a violent altercation on Thursday outside a gas station in Roseville, Michigan, after bail bond agents spotted someone who had skipped bail. The Roseville Police Department said the wanted man, who was injured in the shooting, skipped bail on June 9. Agents from the bail bond company tracked him to the Marathon gas station at 12 Mile Road and Interstate 94, where they saw the man standing outside a vehicle and talking to another man. Police said the bail agents positioned their vehicles to block the man's vehicle and exited their vehicles in an attempt to...

The so-called “leaders” of Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany are the four jokers of the apocalypse — each doing his damndest to drag what’s left of those nations into Hell. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has given several speeches recently in which he reaffirms his commitment to fighting “climate change” by severely limiting Canadians’ meat and dairy consumption, clothing allowance, private ownership of vehicles, air travel, and other basic lifestyle choices. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer — who did nothing while Islamic rape gangs hunted young British girls — has rolled out a totalitarian system for online speech...

Supreme Court justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Brett Kavanaugh joined with liberal justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson in a 5-4 decision upholding the jurisdiction of state courts when plaintiffs also seek review by the federal court system. Chief Justice John Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, and Elena Kagan dissented in the ruling in T.M. v. University of Maryland Medical System Corp. “The case was brought by a person identified only as T.M., who said she has a medical condition that can cause psychosis when she ingests gluten. In March 2023, she accidentally did so and was...

A Cazenovia man was arrested on Thursday following a joint investigation into explicit communications involving a child. The New York State Police arrested Travis Longo, 46, following a law enforcement referral received by the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Oneida. Investigators determined that Longo allegedly engaged in a pattern of sexually explicit communications with a child under the age of 12. Longo faces four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, which is a class A misdemeanor. The arrest was the result of a collaborative investigation conducted by members of the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation,...

Science has learned that Morens, an influenza researcher who worked at the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) until 2022 and was an aide to its former director, Anthony Fauci, was having his morning coffee at his Chester, Maryland, home when he heard loud pounding on the door. He opened it to find a half-dozen federal agents carrying guns and wearing tactical gear, including bulletproof vests, according to two sources who spoke with him but asked not to be identified. Another team of officers stood in the distance and observed, as did neighbors. The agents did not...

This week, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard released "evidence showing how Dr. Anthony Fauci, as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, provided millions in US taxpayer funds to support research on bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China and how he worked with the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions, the virus' lab-leak origins, and his role in directing this dangerous research that caused widespread harm and killed millions of people." "After years of lies, censorship, and cover ups, the American people deserve truth, and accountability," Gabbard said....

the Great Disappointment of October 22, 1844. William Miller, a Baptist preacher, had meticulously calculated—and inaccurately predicted—Yeshua's return to Earth on that date. When the world did not end, and Yeshua did not appear, the Millerite movement was plunged into crisis. believers were devastated, their faith shattered. Instead of admitting fundamental misinterpretation of prophecy,a small group of Millerites concocted a new explanation. They posited that Miller's calculations were correct regarding the date, but incorrect regarding the event. Yeshua had not come to Earth, they argued, but had instead entered the second apartment of the heavenly sanctuary to begin an "investigative...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.” Matthew 6:31–34In the fifth century, Saint Augustine wrote The City of God, one of the most important works in Catholic...

"If a man comes into your assembly with a gold ring and dressed in fine clothes, and there also comes in a poor man in dirty clothes, and you pay special attention to the one who is wearing the fine clothes, and say, 'You sit here in a good place,' and you say to the poor man, 'You stand over there, or sit down by my footstool,' have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil motives?" (James 2:2-4). Favoritism is motivated by an evil desire to gain some advantage for yourself. The story is told of...

For years, a South Florida nursing school operator sold a simple proposition: Skip the schooling, buy the diploma, become a nurse. Nearly 3,000 people took her up on it. On Monday, the scheme caught up with her. Carleen Noreus, 52, of Plantation, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering following a two-week trial in Fort Lauderdale. She had taken her chances before a jury rather than accepting a plea deal, changing her mind mid-trial, a decision prosecutors say will factor in her favor at sentencing. Noreus served as president of Carleen Home Health...

Democrats, for years already, have insisted that President Donald Trump is such a dictator, a “Hitler,” that he won’t ever leave office. Of course, he did, in a routine although slightly snarky transfer to the Biden White House after that 2020 vote. But they still say he won’t. He’ll “cancel” elections. He’ll declare himself president for life. He’ll even use, the extremists claim, the military to keep control. All of the doomsayers, perhaps, should be watching one city in far-left California, where four city officials were removed from office by voters, but have refused to leave. They simply voted to...
