Next month sees Windows 10 finally reaching the end of (mainstream) support. Microsoft has been pushing people towards Windows 11 for what feels like forever, and it worked – for a while. The latest market figures show that this is changing. The statistics for August 2025 from statcounter Global Stats show a marked drop in Windows 11’s share of the desktop market. Rewinding a little bit through time, June 2025 was a significant month because it marked the point at which Windows 11 finally caught up (well, very nearly) with Windows 10. Windows 11 managed to reach a market share...

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev responded on Wednesday to United States President Donald Trump's comments about the Ukraine conflict by stating that he "has once again fallen into an alternate reality." The US president "issued a series of political incantations on the theme of 'How weak Russia is'" Medvedev wrote on Telegram. "After meeting with the clowns in Kiev and Paris, he published a colorful post. It mentions Kiev's final victory, a return to the former borders, Russia's failed military economy, queues for gasoline, and a 'paper tiger.'" Moreover, Medvedev went on to suggest that Trump "will return....

A new study explains that time travel itself eventually leads to a reality without it. Is time travel truly possible? The prospect presents its fair share of paradoxes. Of course, there are famous logical examples, such as the Grandfather paradox, which explores what would happen if a time traveler killed their grandparent before their parent was conceived (an idea not so far removed from the plot of the sci-fi great Back to the Future). Other paradoxes are more concerned with mathematical or physical impossibilities within our current understanding of space-time—even though time travel is theoretically possible through phenomena like closed...

"A democracy thrives on the freedom of choice — but that wasn't even granted to the citizens". Germany’s left have long claimed that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) is a threat to democracy, and due to this claim, they argue the party should be banned entirely. Although banning parties is typically reserved for authoritarian regimes, this outcome remains a very real possibility in Germany, and a local election in the city of Ludwigshafen just showed what such an outcome could look like in practice. Incredibly, the main candidate for the AfD, Joachim Paul, was banned from running in the mayoral...

America Is Reaching A Boiling PointI am deeply saddened by what is happening to our country. America is reaching a boiling point, and it appears that we have entered a new era of civil unrest in which political violence will become the norm. At this moment in our history, we should all be denouncing political violence as loudly as we can. Unfortunately, there are many voices that are loudly calling for more political violence. I have been warning that this time would come for so many years, and now it is here. The “left” deeply hates the “right”, and the...

Disney (DIS) has had a rough week. It faced a massive boycott from customers after briefly pulling the plug on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” a late-night talk show on ABC. The decision to suspend the show came after comedian Jimmy Kimmel made jokes relating to President Donald Trump’s reaction to the death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on Sept. 10. Disney’s decision to cut the show sparked a huge boycott from consumers, who threatened to cancel their Disney vacations and streaming services such as Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Many consumers claimed that canceling the show over Kimmel’s...

At least two detainees and a suspect are dead following a shooting at the Dallas Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Field office early Wednesday morning. Sources confirmed to the news outlet that one shooter was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office. The identity of the shooter has not been released. Police are still searching for another sniper, or potentially several other shooters. Acting director of ICE Todd Lyons confirmed in an interview with CNN that the shooter died of a self-inflicted wound. “Preliminary information is a possible sniper,” Lyons said. “We have three individuals that are...

Federal agents executing a search warrant at the downtown office of former National Security Adviser John Bolton in late August seized a cache of documents marked as classified, according to court documents. The office mission was the second such search conducted by the FBI following an early-morning raid at Bolton's home. The application for the warrant at his office, according to the filing, was to search for "evidence of a crime" and to locate potential "contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed." An inventory of the property taken at Bolton's office indicates several electronic devices, as well as...

I'm not a hat wearer, but finally decided to get a MAGA hat. Since I look awful in red, I'm in the market for a black one. What are the verified sources for these? I know there are a lot of pretenders hawking them on the internet, and didn't want to get burned.

Today’s left has mastered the art of self-delusion. These people have gone totally off the “reality rails.” But nothing proves this more than the “Queers for Palestine” crowd. These are the Antifa-style activists who spend all day sneering at Christianity, yet trip all over themselves to defend Muslims – a religion and culture that wants absolutely nothing to do with them. It’s beyond absurd. Christianity might offend them, but Islam would imprison them, beat them, or worse – kill them – for simply being who they are. And yet, they still carry water for all things Muslim. Talk about Stockholm...

A California plan to fine large social media companies that intentionally amplify violent or extremist content is heading to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk after clearing the state Senate on Thursday, potentially teeing up another legal battle with Big Tech over free speech rights. Why it matters: Democratic state Sen. Henry Stern’s SB 771 comes after Meta and X relaxed content moderation and rolled back fact-checking amid criticism from President Donald Trump and Republican allies that such policies have dampened conservative voices. Critics have argued this allowed violent, hateful and extremist content targeting minorities and other vulnerable groups to flourish on...

Kroger employee terminated after admitting to writing message, Starbucks calls act 'unacceptable' An Ohio woman ordered Charlie Kirk’s go-to Starbucks drink on Sunday evening — and was startled to find a hateful message written on the cup. Autumn Perkins, who lives in Middletown, Ohio, visited a Starbucks location inside Kroger and run by Kroger to order the mint majesty with two honeys. When she received her order, she was shocked to see that an employee had written "racist’s fav drink" on the side of the cup. "It's time for people to stop this nonsense," Perkins told Fox News Digital. After...

Recent research suggests fermented kimchi may improve key markers like blood sugar and blood pressure, hinting at unexpected health benefits hidden within this traditional Korean food. Credit: Stock Research shows that eating fermented kimchi can help improve fasting glucose, lower triglycerides, and reduce high blood pressure. Researchers at the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) conducted a review examining the health effects of kimchi, a traditional Korean dish that has seen rising popularity worldwide. To argue that schools of education have gone bonkers is akin to penning an op-ed that the Titanic sank. The fact is given. Does anyone dispute it? The most-assigned books and essays for prospective teachers are a heady mixture of race essentialism, gender theory, and outright Marxist kookery. Trainees learn much of critical-consciousness raising, Marxist praxis, and gender as a performative act but little of classroom management, curricular sequencing, or instructional practice. Unsurprisingly, research into the impact of these programs finds that teachers who attend them are no more effective than alternatively trained or even untrained career transitioners. Since at...

NATIONAL CHERRIES JUBILEE DAY On September 24 we are serving up a tasty dessert to celebrate National Cherries Jubilee Day. Smitten with this simply elegant dessert, cherry lovers celebrate this sweet holiday with delight. #CherriesJubileeDay Auguste Escoffier receives the credit for the Cherries Jubilee recipe. Since he knew Queen Victoria's fondness for cherries, Escoffier prepared the dish for one of her Jubilee celebrations. However, his original method didn't include ice cream. Instead, the chef poached the cherries in a simple syrup and poured warm brandy over them. Then just before serving, dramatically set the alcohol aflame. Later recipes added the...

Federal law enforcement officers pepper-sprayed and detained several anti-ICE protesters Tuesday night at the federal building in Eugene. The protest began around 2 p.m. Activists from Eugene said they’d been joined by a group who travelled from Portland. Attendees, some of them in black masks and helmets, knocked on the glass doors of the federal building, which houses an Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office. They taunted employees inside with signs, fake donuts on sticks, and calls of “here, piggy piggy.” Some attendees climbed an art installation outside, while others wrote anti-ICE messaging on the ground in chalk. Around 7:30...
