At least two detainees and a suspect are dead following a shooting at the Dallas Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Field office early Wednesday morning.
Sources confirmed to the news outlet that one shooter was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office. The identity of the shooter has not been released. Police are still searching for another sniper, or potentially several other shooters.
Acting director of ICE Todd Lyons confirmed in an interview with CNN that the shooter died of a self-inflicted wound.
“Preliminary information is a possible sniper,” Lyons said. “We have three individuals that are down at this time. We’re not sure on their condition. They’ve been taken to the hospital.”
“Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities,” U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said. “The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”
Dozens of officers were dispatched to the facility at 8101 N Stemmons Freeway in Northeast Dallas at 6:38 a.m., and a heavy police presence remains in the area.

The people shot were illegals who had been detained. It could be possible it was a cartel shooting to stop any detainee from cooperating.
Or it could have been a crazed anti illegal jerk who would rather kill than deport.
