Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons said Monday that he was “absolutely” worried that President Trump will “unleash the Justice Department on the Democratic Party.” “The question then becomes the president’s deputy chief of staff came out today, and called the Democratic Party an ‘extremist organization,’ after the president said that he was going to take action against extremist organizations,” Simmons told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source,” in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “So, the question arises in my mind, is the president of the United States going to outlaw the Democratic Party? Like Democrats, Destiny also has a long, documented history of encouraging and even celebrating political violence against conservatives.A leftist commentator known for celebrating political violence against Christians and conservatives suggested on-air this week that Charlie Kirk’s assassination only happened because Americans chose to re-elect President Donald Trump.“If you wanted Charlie Kirk to be alive, Donald Trump shouldn’t have been president for the second term,” Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, an online gaming streamer who goes by “Destiny,” declared Monday on Piers Morgan Uncensored. The admission comes less than one week after a shooter murdered Kirk on his American Comeback Tour stop at...

Bishop Schneider on the LGBTQ+ "Pilgrimage" to St. Peter's Basilica“My reaction was a silent cry of horror, indignation, and sorrow. All true believers in the Church—both faithful and clergy—who still uphold the validity of God’s commandments and take Him seriously, should experience this provocation as a brazen slap in the face. I believe that many faithful Catholics and members of the clergy remain stunned by such a massive blow and require time to recover. An unprecedented act has taken place in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, one that may fittingly be described, in the words of Our Lord, as an...

Three recent events have underscored the catastrophic erosion of the foundational tenets of the United States and the anti-Americanism of the Democrat Party. The first is the brutal murder of a young woman in Charlotte, N.C., Iryna Zarutska. The second, the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The third, sitting Democrat senator Tim Kaine’s declaration reflecting a fundamental belief within the current Democrat Party that the government is the source and, thus, the final arbiter of all human rights.Over the centuries, those that deem the state is paramount and, thus, the source of all rights, believe granting, limiting, or denying these rights...

A once-crumbling factory in Seneca Falls just won one of New York’s top preservation honors — after being saved from the wrecking ball and transformed into a home for dozens of families and veterans. Huntington Apartments has received a 2025 Excellence in Historic Preservation Award from the Preservation League of New York State, the organization announced Monday. The building at 201 Fall Street was originally home to the National Yeast Company in the late 1800s. By the 2010s, it was deteriorating fast. A gas station proposal nearly sealed its fate — until local advocates stepped in. The Seneca Falls Historical...

The chaos, violence, pain, and death will not abate until enough Americans finally admit that what we are currently witnessing is a battle between good and evil.It is hard for decent, tolerant folks, open-minded folks to come to this realization. It is also distressing to do so.In this ever more secular world, few folks really welcome this reality. It seems daunting, and, well, Biblical. And it is. But we reached this point expressly because we have for too long now ignored reality, acted as if there were no such thing.Turns out, some things are immutable. Everything doesn’t equivalate. Some things...

In 2035, when Tesla is making more than 10,000,000 Optimus per year, Tesla will run ads like this on TV. “Four easy payments of $6,942” I (i.e., Chris First, @chrisfirst) created the first ad for the @Tesla_Optimus robot, inspired by classic late-night TV commercials.

The first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution, also known as the Bill of Rights. The aim of the Bill of Rights is to safeguard individual freedoms and constrain the power of the government. The First Amendment reflects these democratic ideals by establishing the freedom of speech. Its free speech clause reads,“Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech…”From this language, we can see that our First Amendment right to free speech begins as a prohibition on Congress. Our federal legislature is bound by the Constitution, which means that Congress cannot enact laws that violate our rights to free speech....

Amanda Seyfried is facing backlash for being critical of Charlie Kirk following his shocking murder. The actress, 39, called him “hateful” in response to an Instagram post Sunday. The post highlighted controversial statements Kirk made about abortion, immigration, Black people and more alongside the caption, “‘Ask yourself, why is exposing the flaws of MLK’s life and character — something he said we should judge others by — so controversial?’ – Charlie Kirk, January 2024.” A comment from Seyfried’s verified Instagram account reads, “He was hateful.” The “Mean Girls” star also reshared a text post on her Instagram Stories Monday, seemingly...

It starts off looking harmless. You’ve pulled into a petrol station, you’re in a rush, maybe even heading off on holiday, and a stranger at the next pump leans over with a polite smile. ‘Could you put five euros on your card for me? I’ll give you the cash now.’ It sounds like nothing – a neighbourly gesture, a quick favour. But what many drivers in Spain don’t realise is that this “harmless” exchange is the basis of a clever new scam sweeping petrol stations across the country. And those five euros? They could end up draining your bank account...

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been permanently sidelined from prosecuting President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Georgia after she lost an appeal at the state’s highest court. The Georgia Court of Appeals in December ruled that Willis and her office could not continue to prosecute the case, citing an "appearance of impropriety" stemming from her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. Willis appealed to the Georgia Supreme Court in January, but on Tuesday the high court declined in a 4-3 decision to take up the case. One judge didn’t participate and another was disqualified. Steve Sadow,...

U.S. President Donald Trump sued The New York Times, four of its reporters, and publisher Penguin Random House for at least $15 billion, claiming defamation and libel, and citing reputational damage, a Florida court filing showed. Trump's suit cites a series of New York Times articles, one an editorial prior to the 2024 presidential election, which said he was unfit for office, and a 2024 book published by Penguin titled "Lucky Loser: How Donald Trump Squandered His Father’s Fortune and Created the Illusion of Success." "Defendants maliciously published the Book and the Articles knowing that these publications were filled with...

Someone's lunch was full of whole grains.Up in the high passes of the Bernese Alps, a team of researchers found a box. It was about 8 inches in diameter and made of pine, willow, and larch. It was 4,000 years old. Now, the scientists report in a new paper, published in Scientific Reports, they have discovered traces of what was once held in the box -- someone's lunch (or dinner or breakfast). The team thought that the box might have held porridge and looked for traces of milk. But they found nothing. Instead, using a newly developed technique, they were able to...

I have been trying to visit the website keepandbeararms.com. It has been available for years. I was able to obtain an image of the site which showed today's date, but I cannot actually connect with the website itself. One resource, isitdownrightnow.com told me it had been down for more than a week, but I remember seeing it last week. My suspicion is some browsers can see it and others cannot. Please report if you can bring it up or not.

The European Commission is proposing to reimpose duties on Israeli goods in response to the war in Gaza and ongoing violations in the West Bank, Euronews can exclusively reveal. In an interview with Euronews, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas confirmed the strategy to suspend trade-related provisions within the Israel-EU Association Agreement. Trade between the EU and Israel was €42.6 billion in 2024, and the preferential treatment is around 37% of that, she confirmed.
