More than three weeks after dozens of mysterious drones began popping up in the New Jersey night sky, the public has still been offered no clear insight on what the phenomenon could be. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J., suggested the swarms of unmanned aerial vehicles could be from an Iranian "mother ship." [cut] ... Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh added there is "no evidence" to suggest the drones are "the work of a foreign adversary." "We aren’t being told the truth," Van Drew responded Thursday on Fox News. "They are dealing with the American public like we’re stupid." While the Pentagon...

Gov. Greg Abbott has now made it explicitly clear he wants the next House speaker to have been chosen by members of the Texas House Republican Caucus. Sydnie Henry reports the governor was forced yesterday to issue two statements related to the rump candidacy of Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock). Burrows has been seeking support from Democrats and a small faction of Republicans to secure the gavel in January after losing the House Republican caucus nomination vote last Saturday to State Rep. David Cook (R–Mansfield). Notably, of the Republicans who opposed Abbott’s school choice push in the 2023 regular and special sessions,...

VIDEOThe Inspector General of the Department Of Justice has finally admitted that the Feds had 26 "Confidential Human Sources" (that we know of so far) at the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021. However, how oh HOW, will these CHS folks ever be identified? It will take all the skills of a Sherlock Holmes to ID them.

Thanks to The United States’ combination of lackluster train infrastructure and miserable flying experience, there often simply aren’t great choices to get places. Is the Greyhound bus our savior? No, absolutely not. Yet, despite the Greyhound’s reputation as as a last resort option, I’ve taken it several times (not as a last resort!) over the last few years.

If you’ve ever seen the iconic “Modern Family” clip where Mitchell is increasingly bothered that people in France know he’s American just by looking at him — that is, until he purchases an outfit from a local store and fits in with the locals — you’ll understand the plight of American tourists. Sometimes, even with the right language skills or a demure presence, our clothes alone give us away. This is because Americans have a specific way of dressing, stylists say, whether they’re visiting Europe, Asia or another locale. And while fashion is different in every city and every country...

Brandon Holcombe went straight from high school to working as a welder in northern Georgia, but it wasn’t for him. Holcombe worried that the field was being automated away by robots, and besides, he wanted something with more problem-solving skills. Now, a decade later and at 28 years old, Holcombe is a long way from welding, studying at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine to become a registered nurse. “Each day brings new learning opportunities,” Holcombe said. The number of men in the U.S. with the job of registered nurse has nearly tripled since the early 2000s. Many come to...

When I was fired from CVS Healthcare for not taking the Covid "vaccine" I was was one native-born American on a team of 14 people. 12 were on an H-1B visas from India and one was on an H-1B visa from Taiwan. I was the only native born American on the team representing less than 7% of the entire team. This is why most of high-tech corporations have run by Indians. America is being colonized and subjugated by countries that have bought off our political establishment. Maybe it's "Trump Time" to do something about it. What say you President Trump?

The cold-blooded murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has produced some ugly reactions. Liberal politicians and commentators seized upon Thompson’s murder as an excuse to complain about insurance companies. But their outrage should be directed at the federal government, says Seamus Bruner on the most recent episode of The Drill Down. As an example of the ugly reaction, progressive Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) declared, “The visceral response from people across this country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies should be a warning to everyone in the health care system.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs drugged and then raped three men at two Manhattan hotels and at his Hamptons estate as recently as 2022, according to a trio of new lawsuits filed in New York on Thursday. One of the men recalled that during his drugged haze, once Combs was finished raping him, he handed him off to others from Bad Boy Records so they could take turns sexually assaulting him, according to his lawsuit. The three lawsuits cite assaults in 2019 and 2020 — though the suit alleges they covered allegations through 2022. Each lawsuit alleges that Combs served the anonymous...

Explanation: Based on its well-measured orbit, 3200 Phaethon (sounds like FAY-eh-thon) is recognized as the source of the meteoroid stream responsible for the annual Geminid meteor shower. Even though most meteor shower parents are comets, 3200 Phaethon is a known and closely tracked near-Earth asteroid with a 1.4 year orbital period. Rocky and sun-baked, its perihelion or closest approach to the Sun is well within the orbit of innermost planet Mercury. In this telescopic field of view, the asteroid's rapid motion against faint background stars of the heroic constellation Perseus left a short trail during the two minute total exposure...

The review acknowledged that several informants were in Washington on Jan. 6, but said that only a handful were collecting information for the F.B.I. that day, contrary to conspiracy theories.More than two dozen F.B.I. informants were in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, but, contrary to widespread conspiracy theories, bureau officials did not instruct them to encourage anyone to break the law as a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol that day, according to a report by a Justice Department watchdog released on Thursday. After a four-year investigation, the inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, determined that F.B.I. leaders acted appropriately by dispatching some...

After a West Point spokesperson falsely claimed that Pete Hegseth had not even applied to the institution, much less been accepted, journalism outfit ProPublica reached out to Hegseth’s lawyer, asserting that the Secretary of Defense nominee had lied and gave him a one hour deadline to respond.Hegseth posted on Wednesday morning a photo of his acceptance to West Point and said ProPublica was planning on posting “a knowingly false report” that he was not accepted to the school in 1999. ProPublica editor Jesse Eisinger then responded with a Twitter thread, explaining that the outlet had done “real journalism” and determined...

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — In the wake of the assassination of the UnitedHealth CEO, former President Barack Obama stepped forward to calm tensions by reminding Americans not to be too hasty to find and assassinate everyone responsible for the healthcare crisis. In an only slightly nervous statement to the nation, a visibly sweating Obama reminded people not to jump into hunting down and killing everyone who might be considered responsible for causing the terrible state of American healthcare. "Now, now, let's not get carried away here," said Obama, tapping the floor faster and faster as an eyebrow inadvertently twitched. "Surely...

TORONTO — Canada long sold itself as a beacon for immigrants, who were widely viewed as key to economic growth in a vast nation with a small and rapidly aging workforce.“Study, work and stay” was the slogan of a government campaign to lure international students, part of a broader push that included recruiting temporary workers and resettling refugees. After President Trump banned travel to the U.S. from several Muslim-majority countries in 2017, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada’s doors were open. “To those fleeing persecution, terror and war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith,” he wrote on...

For the ninth straight year, the Dallas Cowboys are the world’s most valuable sports team, worth an estimated $10.1 billion—the first to cross the 11-figure threshold and $1.3 billion beyond their closest competition. But there is plenty of movement among the top 50 teams, with 12 NBA franchises now flooding the ranking, double the six on last year’s list and led by the Golden State Warriors, worth an estimated $8.8 billion and No. 2 overall. To be fair, that increase is due in part to a change in the timing of Forbes’ list, but basketball’s march up the financial leaderboard...

It is easy to mock Argentine president Javier Milei, with his crazy hair, cloned dogs and claims of expertise at tantric sex. He was, after all, nicknamed “El Loco” (The Madman) as a teenage goalkeeper and seems often determined to perpetuate this reputation with his egotistical boasts and brutal attacks on critics. Yet, when this explosive character said recently he was one of the two most “relevant” politicians on this planet alongside Donald Trump, he might just turn out to be right. For the self-styled “anarcho-capitalist,” who campaigned with a chainsaw as a symbol of his desire to slash the...
