When I was fired from CVS Healthcare for not taking the Covid "vaccine" I was was one native-born American on a team of 14 people. 12 were on an H-1B visas from India and one was on an H-1B visa from Taiwan. I was the only native born American on the team representing less than 7% of the entire team. This is why most of high-tech corporations have run by Indians.
America is being colonized and subjugated by countries that have bought off our political establishment. Maybe it's "Trump Time" to do something about it. What say you President Trump?
I have a diffent opinion. The brightest and most motivated Indians move to the USA for the opportunities presented here. They generate plenty of wealth and value.
Elon Musk was such an H1B import, albeit from South America.

I have seen similar being involved with software development...one of the problems is that people in other disciplines outside of tech, such as marketing, sales, finance, are automatically convinced Indians are the best choice for IT and SW development. Therefore, C-Suite people feel like they need their CTO to be one to “compete” with other companies that have one.
I have seen little evidence that many are that good - in fact, many are not very creative, and simply regurgitate methods and other things they have been “taught”. In my experience Nordic developers are far superior to Indian ones. I’ve known a few good redneck ones from the US as well -self taught and amazing problem solvers for things others said would be very difficult and expensive.

Because there are over a billion Indians, many are smart and hard working, and they don’t want to live there, they want to live here.

True. They care about education & not the character education classes & junk self esteem classes our schools are burdened with. They also hustle.
Fun Indian movie “3 Idiots” is about the push to get the smartest Indian students to the USA where they can make a better living than at home.
I’ll tell you one thing about them that was a sobering experience. The immigrants I have dealt with from former British colonies in Asia and Africa had superior skills in speaking and writing in the English language than our typical American-born college graduate. That even included some Americans whose ancestors came here on the “Mayflower.”
Because public skools math edukashun is sh!t and has been for the last 30 years. Always re-inventing the wheel to avoid any form of memorizing the basics. Kids can’t even add and subtract, much less multiply or divide.
And now it’s DEI math because math is a racist tool of colonization.

Our most urgent problem is not who gets a few thousand CEO jobs - maybe we can deal with that over the long run through more competitive education.
Our immediate problem is making sure American citizens get the hundreds of millions of rank and file jobs.
Worrying about the unfairness of who gets the high tech CEO jobs is like worrying about who gets to be a rock star or pro basketball player - I don’t really give a shit.

Why should a nation of 330 million people accept immigrants from a nation of 1.4 billion people? Is not that the very nature of colonization, a larger country colonizing a smaller country?
Good times produce soft men. We have grown decadent, lazy and arrogant. When you get to grad school in technical desciplines, you find that the Indians, Russians and the Chinese have prepared way beyond our normal grad student. They are in survival mode...most of us don’t even understand that.
They not only hustle, but like all experts, the former community of like-minded people within a larger community and they act accordingly
1. Numbers game. There are a billion Indians and the brightest and most driven generally want to work here.
2. They come from a culture much more likely to sacrifice themselves and others to achieve success. That amoral ambition aligns perfectly with the goals and values of a publicly traded company.
3. They understand how to use the H1-B process to fill their companies with cheap H1-B labor which looks very good on the bottom line in the short term, again perfectly aligned with the goals and values of a publicly traded company.
