General Flynn: 150 counties in various states are complete disaster zones, biblical proportions that the federal government is not helping. In NC there are over 1000 killed in body bags, and there are many for which there are no body bags .Flynn estimates over 2000 dead. There are towns completely cut off, and homes are gone. Weather conditions are misty and wet at night, temperatures are low 30âs, by end of the month will have freezing conditions and possible snow. People are walking around with nothing. Flynn, âThe Federal Government has done nothing.âWhen they talk about âFEMA is out of...

By Dr. John BergsmaThe Readings for this Sunday provide the homilist with an ideal opportunity to teach Christian doctrine concerning marriage and children. The opportunity is timely, too, as one of our political parties has taken an official stand supporting "same-sex marriage," an arrangement that is not intrinsically related to the birth and rearing of children, does not provide the same benefit to society as true marriage, and can never be as optimal for the well-being of children as to be raised by their own biological father and mother. In the midst of the confusion about the very nature of...

Somebody called in a bomb threat to the Somerville MA central library on Highland Avenue shortly before 2 p.m - the scheduled start of a drag-queen story hour, which was then cancelled as police combed the building for a bomb that didn't exist. In addition to Somerville officers, the Cambridge bomb squad responded - and then left shortly after 3 p.m. after no bomb was found. The Somerville Fire Department was called in as a precaution and the building was cleared. Outside, chanting right-wingers, one carrying a large blue-stripe flag, were significantly outnumbered by story-hour supporters. Somerville City Council President...

ASHEVILLE, NC â FEMA arrested Noah this week after they caught the prophet attempting to help rescue people afflicted by the floods. "This is an unapproved rescue operation and we will not tolerate such behavior," FEMA Spokesman Randy Tarwater told the press. "We apprehended Noah and his so-called âark' attempting to save human and animal lives. That's not what FEMA represents." After Hurricane Helene annihilated entire communities, the Prophet Noah steered his ark into needy areas to help rescue stranded Americans. FEMA reportedly blocked the seer and told him his saving people was really getting in the way. "I tried...

It was inconceivable to me that Kamala Harris would select Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate because of his record in office. His record as governor ranges from the horrible to the despicable. I made this point, by the way, before Harris selected Walz, in the July 30 Free Beacon column âTake my governor â please.â In that column I wrote that Walz would never live down the frauds committed under the watch of the state agencies under his jurisdiction. Now CNN has taken up these frauds in the (necessarily long) story âAs fraud scandals erupt in Minnesota...

On social issues Barnier saying he supports the right to abortion and marriage for all. He also made it a point to mention "Anti-Semitism" alongside "Racism" saying his government has no tolerance for either. Marine Le Pen spoke of a 'crisis" in public finances... New Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau...promising a policy to control immigration...both legal and illegal means of immigrating into France will be targeted... On Friday 192 New Popular Front...

Former President Donald Trump rallied his supporters on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of an assassination attempt on his life. Trump, speaking about his public service, suggested he is honored to run for president once again to protect the nation from the Biden-Harris administration. Under its leadership, costs increased by about 20 percent across the board, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas and Iran attacked Israel, the illegal migrants invaded the southern border, and the nation suffered the deadly Afghan withdrawal.

Don't allow Obama a fourth term!February 27, 1951, after considerable debate, the 22nd constitutional amendment limiting the term of the United States president to two four-year terms was ratified by the necessary three-fourths of the states..The motivation was largely to avoid our republic evolving into anything resembling a word frequently bandied about todayâdictatorship. The measure was being considered by state legislatures between 1947 and 1951, close to the era of Hitler and Mussolini. Stalin was still alive. The last long-serving president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt had recently been elected to a fourth term only to die a few months in. It...

When Iâve covered the campaigns of women on presidential tickets, the question invariably arises: âIs she tough enough to be commander in chief?âWith the bubbly Geraldine Ferraro, a lot of voters had their doubts. There was less worry with Hillary Clinton. She was a gold-plated hawk who voted to let President George W. Bush invade Iraq and persuaded President Barack Obama to join in bombing Muammar el-Qaddafiâs Libya. It is not surprising, with cascading conflicts, that Republicans are leveling the toughness question at Kamala Harris. This week the Trump/Vance campaign released an ad called âWeakness.â (Donald Trump also ran an ad called...

YOU ARE SPECIAL "I don't know why I was even born," the young sailor confided! "I'm ugly. I'm not talented. I've never been what you would call smart. I don't really have any friends. And I can't seem to do anything right. I feel like I've spent my whole life letting people down. Sometimes I wonder if even God could love me!" That conversation took place more than a decade ago, but I still remember it as if it were yesterday. That one and a lot of others over the years with the same message: "I'm no good; I'm...

Hillary Clinton, former secretary of state, encouraged lawmakers to focus on making the internet a safer place for users during a Saturday appearance on CNN. âThere are people who are championing it, but itâs been a long and difficult road to getting anything done,â Clinton said, crediting California and New York for enacting social media regulations but emphasized the need for action at a national level. âWe need national action and sadly, our Congress has been dysfunctional when it comes to addressing these threats to our children,â the diplomat stated. Clinton argued that social media safety regulations should be âat...

Eddie Vincek was 19 when he and the rest of 1st Battalion, 28th Marine Regiment landed on Iwo Jima. Vincek landed on the rocky Pacific island an hour after the first wave, he said in an interview with the Veterans of Foreign Wars post. âWorking on a dairy farm,â he told the VFW, âI was used to seeing animal blood, but not human blood covering over the ground.â On Sept. 29, Vincek celebrated his 100th birthday at a Ruritan Club in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he was a farmer for most of his life after leaving the Marine Corps in 1946....

A significant red wave is looking to hit the historically blue state of Pennsylvania as more and more voters shift to identify as Republican. Less than a month before the 2024 election, Democrats are losing ground in swing states needed to secure the White House win. Following President Joe Bidenâs exit from the race, Democrats have relied heavily on enthusiasm to take them to victory at the polls. However, that âenthusiasmâ has died down significantly for them. Considered to be a must-win state for Harris, polls show the odds of her securing enough votes are diminishing. In 2020, Biden won...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sedrick Alexander ran for two touchdowns, Randon Fontenette scored on a Pick-6 and Diego Pavia outplayed Heisman Trophy candidate Jalen Milroe as Vanderbilt stunned Alabama 40-35 Saturday for the Commodores' first win over the nation's top-ranked team. Vanderbilt (3-2, 1-1) was 0-60 all-time vs. AP Top-5 teams before Saturday, the longest such streak in the Poll Era (since 1936). The Commodores hadn't beaten Alabama on the field in 40 years, but they snapped a 23-game skid by making big play after big play to give coach Clark Lea his alma mater's biggest win ever.

Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said the quiet part out loud during an appearance on CNN on Saturday. Hillary Clinton appeared on CNN to discuss social media regulations. Clinton said social media platforms must censor content or else âwe lose total control.â âWe should be in view repealing something called Section 230 which gave platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs that they shouldnât be judged for the content that is posted. But we now know that is an overly simple view that if the platforms whether it is Facebook or Twitter/X or Instagram...

Kamala Harris keeps insisting the failed âbipartisan immigration billâ is the fix for the border crisis, but it sure looks like what the nation actually needs would look more like the âBe Gone Actâ that Sen. Jodi Ernst introduced this week. By expanding the definition of âaggravated felonyâ to include sexual assault and aggravated sexual violence, it would make migrant sex offenders eligible for deportation. And thatâd be just the start: Per data that Immigration and Customs Enforcement recently coughed up after months of delay to Rep. Tony Gonzales, a jaw-dropping 662,566 migrants with known criminal backgrounds are wandering around...
