Former President Donald Trump rallied his supporters on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of an assassination attempt on his life.
Trump, speaking about his public service, suggested he is honored to run for president once again to protect the nation from the Biden-Harris administration.
Under its leadership, costs increased by about 20 percent across the board, Russia invaded Ukraine, Hamas and Iran attacked Israel, the illegal migrants invaded the southern border, and the nation suffered the deadly Afghan withdrawal.

And beyond appalling responses to disasters.

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Two outstanding moments:
# 1 - Describing fallen hero Corey as “running one last time into the flames” followed by a moment of silence, tolling of a bell, and the singing of “Ave Maria”
# 2 - About a four minute pause when an attendee suffered a medical emergency...toward the end the crowd spontanously sang the National Anthem.
Long live Trump and may the Good Lord protect him!
His dedication and his stamina are astounding.
May God bless and keep him.
I loved both of those moments.
I also loved the very simple opening of his remarks with “As I was saying…” I burst out laughing.
Amen Brothers ...
“As I was saying...”
He doesn’t have to do this. We know that most people wouldn’t.
He has a remarkable amount of energy for any man especially a man of his age.
He has the money, women, celebrity status/fame.
He is highly educated and cultured.
His personal wealth went down as President and he donated his entire salary.
Air Force One, the White House, are a step down in opulent luxury for Trump.
IMHO, when you have people like him get older and realize they too will pass, ones (((legacy))) becomes extremely important. They want to build a monument to their existence.
Their motivation is pure and sincere (almost like a child). The political forces that hold most politicians hostage do not apply to him because he’s not interested in a continued political career, setting up a political dynasty, getting rich by selling his influence...
***That makes Trump dangerous.***
He might make decisions that piss folks off who have a lot of power and wealth.
Trump is an outright threat for folks that have been able to massage (tax code, EPA rules, green subsidies, government contracts, enforcement of the law, tariffs, visa policies...) things in their favor.
—Imagine you’re Jeff Bozos and >75% of the junk sold in your store comes from China. What do tariffs mean for you?
—Imagine you’re Zuckerberg and the FTC is looking at you because you own a monopoly. How does being broken up sound to you?
—Imagine you’re the head of all major US drug companies and you’re hit with a policy than mandate you cannot charge more for a drug manufactured in the US than you charge outside the US. What does that do to potential profits?
—Imagine you’re a Union and he won’t play along with your scheme of having all larger federal contracts go to union construction firms?
—Imagine you own a railroad and he wants to allow to have a pipeline built which makes one of your big cash-cows dry up?
—Imagine you have a business that heavily relies on subsidies from the EPA or government because you build a green product or service and need tax money to stay alive and he cuts that?
Trump is a dangerous man.
He is far more likely to get killed than an Obama that is a mere rubber stamp for those with real money and power.
You called it!
Very well said.
Wow, what a post! Thank you.
Red 6- you wrote what I intended to share with my boss at work. I’m using your words with minor editing:

Air Force One and the White House are a step down in luxury for Trump.
IMHO, when people like him get older and realize they too will pass, legacy becomes extremely important. Their motivation is pure and sincere because it’s not about them anymore.
The political forces that hold most politicians hostage do not apply to him because he’s not interested in a continued political career, setting up a political dynasty or getting rich by selling his influence...

Power and fortune come to most politicians as a result of their time in office. We all know it. The question is: do YOU want to continue down this road?
Trump is a disruptor and endangers anyone who thrives on government related greed.
He is far more likely to get killed than a Clinton/Bush/ Obama who were mere rubber stamps for those with real money and power.
What a compliment.
Thank you.
