My wife’s Facebook account looks like it’s been hacked. When she requests a reset code, she enters what’s sent and Facebook says the code entered doesn’t match the code sent. Anyone have experience with this? Ideas, suggestions or insights to break through would be appreciated. She uses the feature to stay in touch with old classmates, associates and family on the other side of the country. TIA.

A cult leader accused of horrifying sex and trafficking crimes is now believed to be hiding in a subterranean bunker with dozens of die-hard fanatics underneath his sprawling 75-acre complex in the Philippines following a dramatic raid by some 2,000 police officers over the weekend. Apollo Quiboloy, a self-proclaimed 'owner of the universe' and 'appointed son of god', vanished after protesting his innocence, leaving some of his six million claimed supporters to clash with police on the fringes of his complex in Davao City. But with radar technology, police believe they have found signs of life deep underground the surface...

When it gets hot, Southern California can become a furnace, and when wildfires start, it becomes a literal furnace. Because of these wildires, local residents pay high homeowner insurance rates, when they can get any at all, and accept strict regulations about clearing brush and not starting open flames on broiling hot dry days. But as fire season kicks in through October, the desert badlands of San Diego County near the border nevertheless are seeing wildfires, lots of wildfires, all because under the Harris-Biden administration, the border is still wide open. Now we have the receipts. According to East County...

Did the Democrat convention boost Kamala Harris' poll numbers? Yes, and also no. Or no, and also yes, depending on what one watches. It's been a while since we took a look at polling in the race, and honestly, perhaps it's still too soon to look at the numbers for any conclusions or predictions about where the race is heading. The replacement of Joe Biden with Kamala Harris five weeks ago turned this into a new contest, and until Harris sets out her agenda for a new term as president, most of the numbers are just, well ... vibes.Of course, that's...

If you weren't aware, there is a spike in COVID-19 cases around the country. It's all over the place. Part of it is the return to schools, part of it is that it's really warm in parts of the country, so we're staying together indoors more, and part of it is that it's a communicable disease that isn't going anywhere.Every flu season, we get flu vaccines. Those vaccines are developed based on predictions of what the strain of flu is most prevalent that season. We don't worry about flu season because we as a society have internalized that it comes...

A new Netflix documentary retells the extraordinary story of Apollo 13, the spacecraft that almost never returned from its voyage to the Moon. It focuses more on the way the families of the three astronauts handled the nail-biting tension of their journey home. **SNIP** I took my grandson along and found it strangely moving, in particular the recording of the speech by John F Kennedy in 1962 which began the adventure. On a visit to Rice University in Houston, Texas, he pledged that America would put a man on the Moon by the end of the decade. “We choose to...

Presidential candidate RFK Jr. suspended his campaign last week and endorsed Donald Trump.I disagree with Kennedy about a lot. But at least he was willing to talk to people who disagree with him.In my newest video, we debate.Kennedy complains that mainstream media won't have him on -- even to argue with him."Nobody will. None of them. They won't have me on any of their networks.""I see why," I reply. "You get into the weeds of vaccine science and we feel not all of it's true.""If it's not true," Kennedy responds, "then argue with me, or post something afterward."OK.Here are three...

Defamation isn't always easy to prove in court. If it were, the New York Times and the Washington Post would be launching GoFundMe pages and holding bake sales to pay off their legal bills. Most prominent Republican candidates and politicians probably have at least a dozen legitimate defamation lawsuits against various mainstream media outlets that they'd file right away if they had a decent chance of winning. With publications like the Times and WaPo, the line between editorial opinion and journalism was obliterated years ago. They're not news organizations, they're one big op-ed. The editorial boards of both use their...

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is continuing to see a late-summer surge in COVID cases. Health leaders say more people are being diagnosed in emergency rooms, but new COVID vaccines are coming to pharmacies. "With lots of travel going on to summer events. It's an opportunity for viral illness to spread," said Alexander Sloboda, Chicago Department of Public Health. Health experts urge Chicagoans to take advantage of the new vaccine, if they have not had COVID recently. "We encourage all, anyone over 6 months," Sloboda said.

Oh, yeah, he’s still here. President Biden was pictured lounging on a Delaware beach Wednesday during his second straight week of vacation from the White House. The 81-year-old spent about two hours on the North Shores near Rehoboth Beach, Del., with first lady Jill Biden and two of her sisters. The ostensible leader of the free world looked relaxed in colorful swim trunks, a white T-shirt and black cap, sitting on a beach chair while combing through documents. It’s been nearly 10 days since the president has been in the Oval Office — despite insisting he’d finish out the last...

Poland gave Ukraine everything it could. This was stated by the Polish Minister of Defense, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. The minister responded remotely to the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, according to which “Poland's attention to Ukrainian defense capabilities has weakened somewhat” lately. “This means that Poland probably gave us what it could. However, some things remained in Poland,” the Ukrainian head of state said. "Today, we have donated all the things that we could have donated to Ukraine."

The Sydney-based Flying Bats FC went undefeated during the four-week tournament, including one game in which one of the transgender women scored six goals en route to a 10-0 beatdown, the Daily Telegraph reported.
