Here's a great video about the politics in Andor, a live action TV series that takes place in the Star Wars universe five years before Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star.

I myself have watched the first season two times, and I am totally blown away at how intelligent, mature, and political this show is. This is not standard Star Wars.

I recommend starting this video at 23:00 and continuing for as long as it holds your interest.

Andor was very well thought out and gives a very good thumbnail sketch of what really goes on inside an insurrection, as well as the moves by a ruthless bureaucracy to stamp it out.

With the slow death of Disney+, I doubt we'll see another season.

The second season has already been filmed, for the most part. It should be coming out next year. It will be the last season. It will have four story arcs of three episodes each, with each story arc taking place over one year.

I did like the Clone Wars. Some of them were goofy, but others were great. Especially the development of Asoka, from goofy showoff to seasoned Jedi, and the order 66 series.
