I’m from Loma Linda, California, a small city known as the only Blue Zone in America. Studies have shown that residents live up to around a decade longer than the rest of the United States. Why I never consume energy drinks Energy drinks have become popularized through social media over the years. They’re often marketed as quick solutions for boosting energy, fueling during a pre-workout and enhancing alertness. As a dietitian, though, here’s why I advise caution: 1. Energy drinks can disrupt your sleep and your appetite 2. Energy drinks can spike blood sugar and increase inflammation 3. Energy drinks...

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Religion Forum Threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever . . . The scepter of the...

CHICAGO — President Biden gave a shouting and at times emotional speech Monday as he spoke to the Democratic National Convention after being forced to relinquish the party’s nomination — in remarks that, in a further indignity, were bumped out of primetime. “America, I love you!” Biden, 81, said, dabbing his eyes after an introduction from his daughter, Ashley Biden. The crowd — chanting “thank you, Joe!” — continued to applaud the outgoing president for several minutes before he kicked off his address. “Thank you Kamala, too,” Biden said when the supportive heckling persisted throughout his 51-minute speech, noting his...

US President Joe Biden spoke Monday night at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. In his speech, Biden took aim at former US President Donald Trump, who is set to run head-to-head with Vice President Kamala Harris. "He says we’re losing. He's the loser! He’s dead wrong!" he said. He also claimed that, "Trump wants to cut Social Security and Medicare." "Because of all of you in this room and others, we came together in 2020 to save democracy. As your president, I've been determined to keep America moving forward, not going back." During his speech, Biden stressed that his...

The video comes to my attention via the Twitter Account of Tony Seruga. The video appears to capture Thomas Crooks walking through the vendor section of the Butler rally at approximately 4:26pm, about one and a half hours before he began shooting. If the 4:26pm time is accurate, this is interesting because President Trump was initially scheduled to begin speaking at 5:00pm.

The same “pseudo science” being rejected by Europe — such as transing children — has been embraced in Gov. Tim Walz’s (D) Minnesota, State Rep. Harry Niska (R) revealed during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily. Niska spoke at large about the Minnesota Human Rights Act and the Walz administration’s rejection of including a separate part making it crystal clear that protections do not extend to adults sexually attracted to children — pedophiles, or as some academics like to call them, “minor-attracted persons.” “I would argue that the idea that pedophiles should be a protected class is as crazy as,...

Every time that Biden says: "No joke," "Seriously," or "My Word as a Biden," you know that he is lying.

Comrade Kamala Harris has just informed us that she will NOT do the FoxNews Debate on September 4th. I am not surprised by this development because I feel that she knows it is very difficult, at best, for her to defend her record setting Flip-Flopping on absolutely everything she once believed in, including her statements that THERE WILL BE NO FRACKING IN PENNSYLVANIA and her HORRIBLE Performance on the Border, our “Border Czar,” where millions of criminals and people from mental institutions and terrorists, have been allowed to pour into our Country, totally unchecked and unvetted. It’s called, and she...

In a possible preview of how she planned to conduct herself as one of the moderators of the first presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, during her coverage of the Democratic National Convention on Monday, ABC’s Linsey Davis claimed – without evidence – that Trump had a “connection” to a month-old KKK rally in Howell, Michigan because he was going to hold a rally in the same town. In a conversation with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D), Davis noted that “Trump is expected to go campaign in Howell, Michigan tomorrow.” And as if there...

Former President Donald Trump on Monday admitted that he would tap Tesla and X owner Elon Musk for a cabinet or advisory position if he returns to the White House next year. Musk led a conversation with the Republican presidential nominee on his social media platform last week, which included discussions about creating a "government efficiency commission," that would look at ways to reduce government spending. The former president on Monday did not indicate what cabinet or advisory position he would offer Musk, but the comment occurred during a Reuters interview where he discussed ending a tax credit on purchasing...

The traditional lipid panel may not give the full picture of cholesterol-related heart disease risk for many Americans, according to a study. There are different types of cholesterol particles that can cause heart disease, including low-density lipoproteins (LDL), very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL), and intermediate-density lipoproteins (IDL). LDL-C is a measure of the weight of cholesterol in LDL particles and is one of the most common tests people use to measure cholesterol risk. Every LDL, VLDL, and IDL particle has a single protein on its surface called apolipoprotein B (apoB). Prior research has shown that the number of "bad" cholesterol particles,...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received a standing ovation at the Democratic National Convention on Monday as she dug into her 2016 playbook — highlighting gender as a focus of the presidential election. After the roughly 1.5-minute long ovation — with cheers that appeared louder than they were for Vice President Kamala Harris herself earlier in the night — Clinton, 76, first thanked President Biden, leading to chants of “Thank you, Joe.” “Thank you Joe Biden for your lifetime of service and leadership. Now we are a new chapter,” Clinton said. The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee went on to...

A team of health and nutrition specialists has found that people on a ketogenic diet may experience an increase in LDL cholesterol levels, higher apolipoprotein B levels and reductions in certain gut bacteria. In their study, volunteers went on a ketogenic diet for a month so the researchers could study its impact on their bodies. A ketogenic diet consists of a drastic reduction in consumption of carbohydrates, replacing them with fats. In this new effort, the research team suspected that the diet may also lead to increases in LDL cholesterol levels and possibly other problems. To find out if that...

A study suggests that cannabis, the most commonly used illicit substance worldwide, is associated with an increased occurrence of head and neck cancer. A large, multicenter study revealed that adults with cannabis dependence, known as cannabis use disorder, are 3.5 to 5 times more likely to develop head and neck cancer than those who do not use the substance. Head and neck cancer, the sixth most common cancer in the world, includes several cancers, including cancer of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, oropharynx (tongue and tonsils and back wall of the throat) and adjacent salivary glands. The researchers discovered that those...

Guess we don't want to cover the DNC but watching Hillary was as funny as it was nauseating. Here was the woman who paid for the Russia Russia Russia lies and repeatedly said Putin had something on Trump, and she was declaring that we can't indulge in wild conspiracy theories. And it's always about Hillary. People making fun of Kamala's laugh is just like the way they mocked Hillary. Do the democrats really want to promote Kamala as "Hillary's revenge"? And do they really want Kamala viewed only as a woman? According to Hillary, this is the time they will...

A controversial linen shroud - regarded by some to be the one Jesus was buried in - has baffled the world for more than centuries. When it was first exhibited in the 1350s, the Shroud of Turin was touted as the actual burial shroud used to wrap the mutilated body of Christ after his crucifixion. Also known as the Holy Shroud, it bears a faint image of the front and back of a bearded man, which many believers is Jesus' body miraculously imprinted onto the fabric. But research in the 1980s appeared to debunk the idea it was real after...

Phil Donahue was more than a trailblazing talk show host, he was also a mainstay of Saturday Night Live. Donahue was one of the few non-political celebrities to be impersonated by three different SNL cast members. The first was Joe Piscopo, who embodied the host during a sketch that aired on Oct. 2, 1982. In the scene, Donahue negotiates peace in the Middle East between Israel’s Menachem Begin (played by Tim Kazurinsky) and Palestine’s Yasser Arafat (played by Gary Kroeger). Though topical, the sketch only generated minor laughs. Still, it established a formula for Donahue as a character, and his...
