She’s one of the first people to have spoken out in the administration about a ceasefire. It has to be the kind of ceasefire that comes with the hostages coming home,” And has “been very focused on outreach to those who are taking to the streets, because...

FReeper RedRyder_90 had an idea for a book club style thread on FR after we listened to several of the David Suchet Bible readings. I think it's a great idea. If no one else is interested, she and I will share our comments.I understand that threads discussion religion, or in this case, the version of the Bible read (NIV), can become wild west style bar brawls. So I would preface my comments by suggesting that the thread be a religion thread in which brawls have to be taken outside it.I see James Earl Jones reads the KJV - perhaps that could...

Anyone who has followed our coverage of the Pentagon's UFO investigatory office currently named AARO in its latest incarnation (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) is likely familiar with the name Luis Elizondo. ---SNIP--- Among the revelations is his testimony that his assignments revealed that there is no question about the existence of non-human, extraterrestrial intelligence. He claims that this nonhuman intelligence not only exists but is superior to our own. He describes it as being "at best" a serious national security issue and, at worst, "the possibility of an existential threat to humanity.” If that leaves you with an uncomfortable lump...

When arch-heretic Kenneth Copeland is not giving false prophecies about COVID being destroyed, throwing someone in a wheelchair to the floor, casting away bald spots in Jesus’ name, or even running his own bizarro Bible college, the richest prosperity preacher in America can be frequently found making up stuff about Jesus and justifying his personal theological idiosyncrasies in order to increase his net worth, he can be seen accepting obscenely wealthy gifts and seed offerings from dying men, according to a story by The Christian Post. During a recent message preached at the 2024 Southwest Believers’ Convention, the 87-year-old money-grubber...

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), once a darling of the Democrat Party and now a party pariah, is reportedly skipping the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The sensational senator, whose sudden apostatizing while in office left his fellow Democrats livid, said the reason isn't Israel-related.According to what Fetterman told The Free Press's senior editor Peter Savodnik, "[I]t has nothing—literally nothing—to do with him scotch-taping photos of the Israeli hostages to his Senate office walls. Or attacking fellow Democrats Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar for falsely blaming a hospital bombing in Gaza on Israel. ('It's truly disturbing that Members of Congress rushed to blame...

You’ve got to give credit to former President Donald Trump for being the first to bring up what has become a politically popular proposal to eliminate the federal income tax on tipped wages. It was a smart political move. Republicans, long maligned as the party of billionaires and multinational corporations, could use more policy proposals aimed at helping lower and middle class workers and small businesses. This proposal would do both, and it also, on the surface at least, aligns with conservative fundamental principles of shrinking taxes and the overall size of government, generally always a good thing. You’ve also...
