Anti-Israel protestors and Hamas sympathizers who desecrated Washington, D.C.'s Union Station have learned their fates. A minimum of eight people who participated in the anti-Israel protest during Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech Wednesday are now facing federal criminal charges after defacing federal property and fighting police. Some protestors, however, have had their charges dropped by more lenient Washington, D.C. prosecutors. Frederick Coates, Crow Momamome and Antonio Somerville have all been charged with attempting to carry a dangerous weapon, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. Nathaniel Lawrence, Sonia Krishan and Roger Miller have been charged with attempted theft....

"Karens for Kamala?" actress Connie Britton joked. Britton was one of two celebrities, several politicians, and, reportedly, more than 100,000 others on a Zoom call advertised as a way for white women to "show up for Kamala Harris." What transpired echoed advocacy around Hillary Clinton eight years ago. It was also oddly reminiscent in tone, if not substance, of missteps we've seen from conservatives like Sen. J.D. Vance (R–Ohio), in which those who aren't on board with your side are assumed to simply be deficient human beings. *** The virtual gathering was organized by gun control activist and Moms Demand...

The U.S. viewing audience for the 2024 Paris Games is poised to be the smallest for any prior Summer Olympics Gallup has measured. Thirty-five percent of U.S. adults plan to watch a great deal (10%) or fair amount (25%) of the games, which is down from 48% measured for the 2016 Olympics and figures just shy of 60% from 2000 to 2012. Gallup has measured viewing intentions for each Summer Olympics since 2000, except for the 2020 Olympic Games that were delayed until 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the 35% who plan to watch at least...

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) is facing backlash for criticizing “pro-Hamas cheers” at a fiery anti-Israel protest only hours after expressing outrage over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that such protesters were Hamas sympathizers. In his address before a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, the Israeli leader denounced anti-Israel protesters who support the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Hamas:

Kamala Harris was all smiles when she arrived at Joe Biden's former Delaware campaign headquarters on Monday. She was there to lift the spirits of blindsided staffers, who after 15 months of toiling to re-elect the president, suddenly found themselves working for her. 'It is my great honor to have Joe's endorsement in this race,' she boasted to cheers from a crowd who were now on her payroll. But as the assembled readily applauded, some must have harbored private concerns. For, behind the recent public self-branding of Harris as a kindly, jovial 'Momala', she has earned a nasty reputation as...

There’s buzz swirling within the Biden camp that the president’s swift endorsement of Kamala Harris was his revenge on prominent party leaders — including Barack Obama — who pressured him to bow out of the race against his will, sources told The Post.

Republican allies of former President Trump expect him to draw heavily from the Senate GOP conference to fill his Cabinet if he is elected to a second term in November, with Sens. Bill Hagerty (Tenn.), Tom Cotton (Ark.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Tommy Tuberville (Ala.) in contention for top-level jobs.Republicans feel confident about Trump’s chances against Vice President Harris in November and are buzzing about who could lead the departments of Treasury, Defense, State and Education if Trump wins. GOP lawmakers expect Trump, if elected, to push big reforms to overhaul the federal bureaucracy, and they believe that senators are...

Chicago is bracing for as many as 25,000 migrants to arrive in the Windy City ahead of next month's Democratic National Convention, with one local alderman warning the city is already "tapped out" of resources. "We can't handle any more illegal immigrants sent to Chicago right now," Anthony Napolitano told "Fox & Friends First" Friday. "The only highlight this is going to bring is at the national scale – that we can show everybody how sanctuary cit[ies are] a failure." City officials addressed preparations for the potential surge this week after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vowed at the Republican National...

The 2024 Olympics opening ceremony in Paris has sparked international outrage with drag-queen themed imagery of religious and historical figures. In between listing all the countries participating in the Olympic Games, there have been several performances riffing on France's history and culture, such as a headless Marie Antoinette, the last queen prior to being executed amid French Revolution, singing with her severed head in her hands sporting drag-style makeup. This was part of numerous drag queens that appeared to be a recurring theme throughout the ceremonies. Three drag queens were among the 10,000 torchbearers who relayed the Olympic flame as...

Lady Gaga put on quite the show at the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony in Paris, but you know what it was missing? Pyrotechnics, headless women in a castle, and a boat carrying an opera singer. Enter: Gojira. The group became the first metal band to ever perform during the opening ceremonies. They were chosen because a) they’re French, and b) they put on a sick show. The band — made up of vocalist Joe Duplantier, drummer Mario Duplantier, lead guitarist Christian Andreu, and bassist Jean-Michel Labadie — played a cover of “Ah! Ca Ira,” a song that was popular during...

In a recent outburst on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump lashed out at FBI Director Christopher Wray following Wray's testimony in a congressional hearing. The hearing revolved around an attempt on Trump's life during an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, where Trump sustained an injury to his ear. Wray, uncertain about the nature of the projectile—whether it was a bullet or shrapnel—faced Trump's ire for his inconclusive statements. Trump criticized Wray for his ambiguity regarding the incident and accused him of neglecting serious issues such as national security and law enforcement impartiality. According to...

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday sent a letter to Oakland officials urging them to allow police to engage in more vehicle pursuits, contending that the limitations placed on officers contribute to public safety challenges in the city. The California Highway Patrol inspired the governor’s missive after the agency “observed criminals fleeing with impunity” during the governor’s campaign to boost law enforcement and reduce crime in a city that has historically been one of the most dangerous in the state. In a policy Newsom described as an “outlier,” Oakland only allows police chases when a suspect is armed with a gun...

A number of House Republicans are privately bashing former President Trump’s selection of Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) as his running mate, warning that the pick will not help — and could hurt — the party’s chances of winning in November. The Republicans, speaking to The Hill on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive topic, raised concerns about Vance’s foreign policy positions, lack of experience and inability to expand the Republican coalition beyond Trump’s base. There are, to be sure, plenty of Vance supporters in the House GOP conference, particularly hard-line conservatives — including those in the House Freedom...

CINCINNATI — Multiple teens and an 18-year-old man have been sentenced for their part in a Jan. 23 assault on a man downtown. In court Friday, 18-year-old Jadin Shaw was sentenced to 18 months in prison for his part in the assault. In addition to Shaw, multiple juveniles have also been sentenced for the attack after accepting plea deals; WCPO is not naming them because they are still children.
