A group of armed men took over the station of TC Televisión, in Guayaquil, Ecuador at 2 pm local time. They attempted to take the staff inside hostage. Ecuador’s national police have already taken the TV station back, as shown in an announcement with pictures of the attackers in cuffs on the ground.
