On Saturday night, with his heavily armed mercenaries closing in on Moscow, Yevgeny Prigozhin abruptly announced that he was shutting down his insurrection after a negotiated settlement that would allow him to walk away peacefully. Just two days later, the Russian authorities leaked word that the agreement was already toast. After one of the most extraordinary days in modern Russian history, which saw Prigozhin seize the military’s southern command HQ in Rostov-on-Don before a column of his fighters sped toward Moscow virtually unopposed, it was announced that the former Putin confidant would be granted an amnesty and allowed to head...

TATOOINE — A group of scientists on the outer rim planet of Tatooine have come to the realization that the planet's two suns might have something to do with its global warming issue. "Our planet has experienced many years of harsh climate issues and unforgiving heat. After putting our heads together and really thinking about it, we surmised that maybe the two giant burning balls of gas we orbit around may be the issue," stated local scientist Tumar Sleezelag."I mean it kinda makes sense if you think about it. The intense heat levels have already caused several issues amongst the...

A church in Enfield was having a Pride celebration during their Sunday morning service when two men disrupted the ceremony with hate speech. Pastor Greg Gray of Enfield’s Congregational United Church of Christ wants to make it very clear: this is not okay. The church is decorated with rainbow banners, balloons, and flags to show support for the LGBTQ+ community. “Hate has been strong in this blue state of Connecticut. Hate is strong, and we’re going to love louder,” said Pastor Gray. ... Gray says the church is vocal about its support for the LGBTQ+ community. Because of that, he...

Bud Light is once again angering the right after footage shared on social media shows the brand sponsoring a Toronto pride event that included controversial entertainment and a parade with naked adults, despite children being present. During a Friday night event, one performer strutted around stage essentially topless dancing provocatively, The Post Millennial reports, noting that while there was a 19+ age requirement to enter, the stage was visible in the surrounding area. The move comes despite a massive boycott against the brand following its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in April. Sales volumes for the week that ended...

The title of this article is rather broad and audacious, so let’s do what all good engineers would do and set the boundary conditions for the analysis. All calculations will be approximate given the time invested in this analysis and the purpose thereto. Some assumptions and engineering judgments will be made due to the lack of independently verified information and data. This analysis is meant to be brief and the intended audience is both engineers and non-engineers (for educational purposes). Why am I writing this – out of some sort of ghoulish focus on death? Well, engineers study the ghoulish...

The emergence of LGBTQ Pride Month began for me with the 1973 decision by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to remove homosexuality as a mental disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). Removal followed a two-year campaign Newsweek described as ongoing disruptive, chaotic attacks on psychiatrists and physiologists. Yet throughout these disruptive attacks, no academic papers appeared at conferences refuting research previously done. Eventually onslaughts forced sufficient abstentions, under-votes, and apprehensive responses for a third of APA’s 17,000 plus membership to accumulate enough votes to approve removal. Approval resulted from Psychology and Psychiatry having a tenuous hold on claims...

Fairfax County, Virginia, an elite, left-wing enclave right outside Washington, DC, is dealing with a crime surge, and now police officers will be shooting beanbags instead of shotgun shells. According to Wikipedia, Fairfax County “has the third-highest median household income of any county-level local jurisdiction in the U.S.” and went nearly 70 percent for His Fraudulency Joe Biden in 2020. In other words, this is a county run by Democrats without serious opposition from Republicans. The result? Between 2021 and 2022, crimes against persons increased by ten percent, and crimes against property jumped by 19 percent.

The theologically conservative Presbyterian Church in America had its General Assembly last week where they passed Overture 12: Petition Government to End Sex-change Procedures for Minors. The script calls for the denomination to petition the Biden administration to “renounce the sin” of encouraging and entrenching ‘gender-affirming care’ like puberty blockers and surgical intervention in minors.

A Nebraska 18-year-old who celebrated his high school graduation with a trip to Arizona has been found dead in a desert bonfire pile — in what authorities described as a “malicious” death. Parker League’s body was discovered June 12 in the remote Bulldog Canyon, part of the Tonto National Forest, on the day he was supposed to fly back home after his trip to Tempe, KNXV reported. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office called League’s death “malicious.” The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death. “He was found in the pile burning,” said police spokesman Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez.

Fox News has named Jesse Watters as the newest star of its 8 p.m. ET primetime slot, as the network looks to boost ratings two months after ousting Tucker Carlson from the post. He is currently the host of the 7 p.m. opinion show “Jesse Watters Primetime,” and appears regularly on “The Five,” one of Fox News’ highest rated programs. As part of the nighty show shakeup, Laura Ingraham’s show...

Announced as part of shuffle that will also see Laura Ingraham shift earlier in the evening and late-night host Greg Gutfeld move up to 10 pm, Watters' will now man the hallowed 8pm slot - left vacant by longtime fixture Carlson back in April. U.S. — After scanning thousands of photographs and cross-referencing facial features with political affiliation, researchers have discovered a bizarre connection between being liberal and have enormous, googly eyes."Why? Why do they all look so insane?," wondered lead researcher Dr. Michael Zorn. "Man, those are googly eyes. These pictures are going to keep me up at night."According to sources on the team, the shocking connection became immediately apparent as soon as they began reviewing pictures of liberals. "I honestly screamed when I flipped over the first picture and saw Hillary's psycho eyes," said assistant Jamie Reynolds. "I flipped to the next...

The one-of-a-kind Titan submersible that imploded on its descent to the site of the Titanic this week, killing all five passengers, was made with experimental materials, including carbon fiber, which experts say has not been pressure-tested over time in such extreme depths. Since the fatal dive, the innovation behind the Titan and OceanGate Expeditions — the company that owned and operated the vessel for paid tours to the Titanic — has come under increased and intense scrutiny. Days after the Titan was reported missing, sparking a frantic search, the U.S. Coast Guard said Thursday that the 22-foot craft imploded, though...

Former White House press secretary turned-cable news host Jen Psaki noted former President Trump’s “affection for dictators” during an interview that aired on her MSNBC show this weekend. During a conversation with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Psaki asked the Democratic leader about a federal indictment the former president is facing over his handling of classified documents in the context of his dealings with some foreign leaders. “As you just alluded to, I mean reading the itemized list of 31 documents and the clearance levels as a former ranking member on the Intel Committee, there were Five Eyes classifications...

Conservative leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis won Greece’s national elections on Sunday (25 June) with a clear majority, securing a second term during which he vowed to bring about major reforms to transform the country. With nearly all the votes counted, Mitsotakis’s New Democracy party obtained a score of over 40.5%, well ahead of the leftist Syriza party led by former premier Alexis Tsipras, which scored less than 18%. The margin is the widest for the conservatives in almost 50 years, as voters rewarded them for nursing Greece back to economic health after a crippling debt crisis. “The people have given us...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)Jesus said to his disciples: “Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?” Matthew 7:1–3Sadly, this tendency is far more common than most of us would like to admit. We live in a world in which it is very common to condemn, criticize and judge. This growing secular tendency, in turn, powerfully influences...
