Voting other than dimmocommie in NYC seems a waste of time, what with the poor quality of R candidates and the blatant voter fraud. It’s really a shame. The number of radical corrupt racist black officeholders in NYC and NYS is steadily rising as a result. With the likes of Adams, James, Bragg, Cousins, etc., that does not bode well for survival of the city.

I changed my Republican registration to no party after January 6th, and that’s where it’s staying until I die. You can’t vote in New York State primaries unless you are registered in one of the two major parties.

What to know? Stay home. Voting is futile in NY.

I’ve contemplated moving to the Independent Party.

January 6th would not motivate me at all. Was it because
you thought the Republicans were too quick to join the
Democrats blaming “Right Wing Terrorists?”

The behavior of the majority of Republicans on January 6th was atrocious, and it's something I can never forget, or forgive. I'll be 76 in August. I've been voting since I was 21. That was the legal voting age back then. I will vote for Trump next November. If he isn't on the ballot, I will write him in. The rest of the Republican Party can go to hell because they are useless. They have rolled over for Democrats for many years. They are serial abusers. The only time they know you is when they want your money, and your vote. Once they get it, they kick you in the teeth, and stab you in the back, until the next election cycle, then they come crawling back begging again. Rinse and repeat.

I will no longer compromise my values, and hold my nose to vote for the lesser of two evils, because after it's all said and done, you are still stuck with evil. Any party that doesn't respect me enough to want to even try to protect my ballot from voter fraud, doesn't deserve my respect, or my vote. Once Election Day 2024 passes, I will likely ask that my voter registration be officially removed from the rolls. I live smack dab in the middle of New York State in the Mohawk Valley. Despite the majority of the counties in this State being red, New York City, and the downstate counties elect our Governors, our U.S. Senators, and the President. There is no reason for me to vote in any of those elections, nor any other election. It just not worth the frustration in the end.

I am an enrolled Conservative. No point in voting in our primary. Radical leftists get the endorsement and always win because there are enough enrolled “conservatives” who are pure phonies, Democrat operatives.

I’m in California (Schiff’s district, Pelosi’s, and
Feinstein’s state), and have been for many years.

I have stayed in the party to vote during the primaries,
but as you intimate, it’s a worthless effort. The nom
is always sealed up by the time our primary is held.

It seems I remember that California has moved up its
primary in 2024, so it may have influence this time
for our party.

"It seems I remember that California has moved up its primary in 2024, so it may have influence this time for our party."

Good luck with that seeing as the California State Legislature that creates and passes voter laws, consists of only 8 Republicans in the State Senate, and 18 Republicans in the Assembly.

Yeah, sounds about right.

It’s a done deal now.

It has been moved up from June 7th in 2016, to March 3rd in
2020, and now March 5th in 2024. I didn’t recall the earlier
vote in 2020.

All this does is allow California to have more influence in
the process. As much as I dislike California politics, it
has been kind of a strange thing for states with very small
populations to have a real impact on the process, while a
large state like California has generally held its primary
after a candidate has already won enough delegates to assure
the nomination.

I would hope the Republican vote in CA would reflect some
Conservative principles, but that could be a bit dicey too.

Our state is totally FUBAR.

Here’s the 2016 results: That’s when Cruz and Kasich were
challenging Trump.

74.7% Trump
11.4% Kasich
09.5% Cruz

This was probably tweaked since the nomination was
numerically assured to Trump. (I’m pretty sure it had
been assured by that point, but I may be wrong)

New York State has yet to determine the date for the 2024 Presidential primaries.

Another interesting fact. The Election Central Primary and Caucus schedule shows that Hawaii's 2024 Democrat primary will be mail-in only. Date still to be determined. The fix is in.

On an NYS note...

New federal legislation could lure manufacturers to dormant Central New York business parks

So federal taxpayers' money will be used to bribe businesses to cite in NYS...

Talk about throwing money down a rat hole...

In the races for primary status, I’m not sure why the
Democrats try to game that too. It’s their own people
they are cheating. Yes, it may let them decide who the
victor will be, but are Democrats going to vote for
that guy, when theirs was obviously cheated?
