It pains me to get my hands dirty with this mess. Feel like I need a shower. Ugh. Video of MSNBC interview at link. Back in Feb 28, 2023 the NYP ran a story: Biden says he cut national debt by $1.7T — when he actually increased it by $3.84T. Well...he did it again yesterday in a sit down interview with MSNBC host (whatshername). *newb warning...if this thread gets pulled again...can you please explain what it is that I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? Thank you.

Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles on Friday became the latest congressional Republican to endorse former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The freshman representative praised Trump’s “strong leadership” and highlighted his economic and foreign policies in his endorsement. Ogles said:America has been in a downward spiral since Biden took office just over two years ago. He has embarrassed the U.S. time and time again on the international stage, created economic hardship for millions, and pushed woke agendas ahead of education and national security. Joe Biden has demonstrated his complete disregard for the well-being of Americans. We need to restore strong leadership...

Ever since we pointed out the branding and image consultants hired by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in April, 2022 as part of his national rebranding launch, we have faced some criticism from non-believers. [Go Deep] However, the truth has no agenda. The reality of the situation exists regardless of our comfort level.ABC News is now reporting that Ron DeSantis will skip the exploratory committee phase and go straight into full campaign mode. However, the best part of the information provided from within the DeSantis operation is this, “the team has been paying close attention to how to help manage the...

New York City teachers, cops and firefighters lost nearly $30 million in pension funds tied to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. Critics accuse Comptroller Brad Lander, who is custodian of the pension systems, of favoring the “woke” bank over shareholders. Five city pension funds had a total of $41,867,214 invested in the doomed bank as of Jan. 31, according to data provided by the comptroller’s office under a Freedom of Information request by The Post. The comptroller’s Bureau of Asset Management oversees the investment portfolios. Among the largest funds left holding the bag were the Teachers Retirement System, which...

As reports of vaccine injuries gain traction globally, an Australian doctor is leading a new class-action lawsuit against the federal government and key medical figures. Queensland Dr. Melissa McCann has filed the lawsuit in the Federal Court of Australia on behalf of 500 complainants. The action targets the federal government, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Brendan Murphy, and John Skerritt, the public face of the Therapeutic Goods Administration—the country’s drug regulatory body. “The action will argue that the Therapeutic Goods Administration [TGA] did not fulfil their duty to properly regulate the COVID-19 vaccines, resulting in considerable harm and damage to Australians,”...

Ukraine used a U.S.-made air-defense system to intercept a Russian ballistic missile, the first known time that it has been able to block one of Russia’s modern missiles. Mykola Oleshchuk, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, said in a Telegram post on Saturday that Ukrainian forces were able to take down a Kinzhal, or Kh-47, missile that a MiG-31K aircraft launched from Russia toward the Kyiv region. He said it happened during an attack that Moscow launched on Thursday night.

Long after covid ceased to be a “thing,” and long after we’ve learned that all the rules were wrong, people in the SF Bay Area won’t let go of their masks. Memo to all: WHO has ended the Pandemic. You are now free to take off your mask and leave the darn thing off. Unless, like so many here in the sunny Bay Area, you’re (a) going to commit a crime and don’t want your face showing, or (b) are among the “vaccinated and multi-boosted” who seem to cling to the mask as a talisman, perhaps the better not to...

On this date in 1791, a man named William Jones hanged in Newark, N.J. Jones cut an apologetic figure at his public execution, and a confession he signed off in the hours before was widely reprinted in New England newspapers. (This transcription is from the Boston Independent Chronicle of May 26, 1791.) Knowing that without repentance there can be no salvation, and without a sincere confession of our public transgressions, there can be no true repentance, therefore I would give glory to God, exonerate and ease my own wretched mind; and as far as possible, afford that satisfaction to the...

During an interview with Bloomberg on Friday, White House Council of Economic Advisers member Heather Boushey argued that fiscal policy isn’t too loose because “we have seen those ongoing declines in the inflation rate” and a soft landing is “where we are right now.” She also stated that with the spending plans put into place by the Biden administration, “the money hasn’t started flowing yet, in large part.” Co-host Guy Johnson asked, [relevant exchange begins around 3:45] “We have had 500 basis points of hikes on the monetary side and we’ve still got an unemployment rate of 3.4% and it’s...

Remember the Covenant school shooting in Nashville? You are not supposed to. It is supposed to fade quietly into the background because, well, the facts are inconvenient to the Narrative™. Immediately after the horrific events we learned that there was a “manifesto” left behind by the shooter making it abundantly clear why she committed the act. In her last message to a friend, she also indicated that she left behind writings about why she committed evil acts. So far that manifesto has been withheld from public scrutiny. The powers that be don’t want you to see it. For a brief...

In an interview aired on CNN's "This Morning" show, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) explained why the investigation of the Biden family's influence peddling scheme being conducted by House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) "is an exercise in futility." "First, let's take Comer's demand to see a document his informant says are in the FBI's files that is said to confirm bribery," Schiff said. "The FBI could simply stonewall the request or destroy the document. Comer would have no proof that such a document even exists, much less what is in it if it does exist. I...

Friday, May 5 marks the end of Florida’s 2023 legislative session, which was host to a variety of bills rammed through by the state’s Republican supermajority in tandem with support from Gov. Ron DeSantis. At a bill signing in Jacksonville earlier this week, the governor thanked the state’s lawmakers for being “productive” off the heels of his 2022 reelection, which was host to a steep red wave. “We’ve done so much stuff this year to lead the country as is… We’ve got a lot more in the hopper that we will be signing in the law over the next few...

VIDEOThe FBI is apparently continuing to take a page out of the old J. Edgar Hoover playbook by sitting on incriminating evidence against a president in order to not too subtly blackmail him into doing the bidding of that organization. In Hoover's time, his goal was to keep his job past his mandatory retirement age. He was able to remain by use of his incriminating material on John F. Kennedy. Today, the FBI has dreams much bigger than that. They want to create a state within a state with massive surveillance upon American citizens in much the manner of the...

During an interview with MSNBC on Friday aired on Friday’s broadcast of “The 11th Hour,” President Joe Biden responded to his polling numbers by stating that his numbers are the same as every president who won re-election, people have only heard “negative news” for the past three years, and “much of what we were able to do only is going to come into play now.” Host Stephanie Ruhle asked, “You’re talking about real, practical solutions, when you reference insulin, that you’ve come up with. Why do you think you don’t get more credit for it? Why do you think your...

During an interview with MSNBC on Friday aired on Friday’s broadcast of “The 11th Hour,” President Joe Biden claimed that “no one’s ever tied” their budget to raising the debt ceiling and responded to charges that former President Donald Trump was willing to play ball on issues while he won’t by stating that Trump hurt the economy and increased debt, while the economy under the Biden presidency is doing well.

Just 2 out 10 black and brown students in Oakland public schools can read at grade level Just as teachers’ union head witch Randi Weingarten is doing her media image rehab tour, California teachers’ unions are determined to remind everyone that they’re monsters who thrive on destroying education inside and outside the classroom. Oakland teachers went on strike Thursday after seven days of negotiations failed to produce a new contract for the 3,000 members of the Oakland Education Association. “They’re neglecting their duty,” OEA president Ismael Armendariz said outside Manzanita Elementary School. “The district and the union have been having...

A group of Chicago gay bars will no longer sell Bud Light after Anheuser-Busch distanced itself from Dylan Mulvaney. Bud Light and AB have faced incredible scrutiny and outrage after the beer brand teamed up with the transgender activist, whose entire brand seems to be mocking women, for a March Madness promo. The backlash was swift and unrelenting. As a result, Anheuser-Busch InBev CEO Michael Doukeris attempted to distance the brand from Mulvaney this week. We know America is experiencing a mental health crisis, but the Youth Risk Behavior Survey recently released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) illustrates just how serious the problem has become for America’s young people. In 2021, almost three in five teenage girls felt persistent sadness. Girls are twice as likely to be depressed as boys, and one in three girls said they seriously considered suicide. This is a real crisis, and several factors are relevant.Social media had negatively impacted mental health long before the response to COVID-19 made the problem worse. But a new, perhaps surprising...
