FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILYMatthew 2:13-15, Matthew 2:19-23 Friends, on this feast of the Holy Family, our Gospel shows us Joseph and Mary’s flight into Egypt, pursuing their mission to protect the Christ child. This story prompts me to say something about the Christian family’s mission. The family is, above all, the forum in which both parents and children are able to discern their missions. It is perfectly good, of course, if deep bonds and rich emotions are cultivated within the family, but those relationships and passions must cede to something that is more spiritually focused. A biblical prioritization of values...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

The bills included measures to protect the rights of national minorities. Mr. Zelensky signed...

As we’ve been saying for seven months, keep watching how the globalists respond to Mexico. AMLO doesn’t want to join the economic suicide pact known as Build Back Better, or the North American version “Green New Deal.” This puts him in a precarious place. This sentence from a recent financial analysis article in Reuters is telling, “concerns about a U.S. recession and a trade spat Mexico is embroiled in with the United States and Canada over Lopez Obrador’s energy policy, which critics call nationalist, muddy the outlook for the peso.” A “nationalist energy policy”? What exactly is a “nationalist energy...

Space is so large, and human technology so limited, that the time it would take to travel to another star presents a significant barrier. One potential solution would be generation ships... Another would be artificial hibernation, if it could be successfully implemented. This is what scientists from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have started to investigate; not in humans, but in monkeys, by chemically triggering a state of hypothermia. Hibernation and its slightly less comatose state, torpor, are physiological states that allow animals to withstand adverse conditions, like extreme cold and low...

VIDEOEarly in 2021, former CIA Director R. James Woolsey was making the media rounds pitching a John F. Kennedy assassination theory that he included in his recently released book, “Operation Dragon: Inside The Kremlin’s Secret War on America.” His theory was that Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev personally ordered the assassination of Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald but then called it off when he realized the Soviets could easily be blamed for it thus leading to a nuclear war. However, according to Woolsey, Oswald was such a Communist fanatic that he refused to stand down and went ahead with the assassination.This...

According to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, the Biden administration rates as “the most corrupt and dangerous” in the history of the country. During an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity” on Thursday, Gingrich made the declaration and warned of a “constitutional crisis” stemming from the Biden administration’s desire to wage war on its own people. “Oh, look, I think they’ll do a lot, and I think this is just a childish game by the Biden team,” he said. “The fact is on the third or the fourth, the Republicans who will run the committees no matter who the speaker...

On Dec. 22, the space agency issued a Request for Information regarding a non-exclusive SpaceX study earlier this year that suggested how the Hubble Space Telescope could be "reboosted" into a higher orbit. Since the start of Hubble's operations in 1990, the orbit of the space telescope 335 miles (540 kilometers) above Earth has been decaying. Reboosting it to an orbit that is both higher and more stable could add years to Hubble’s operating lifetime delaying the point at which NASA must deorbit or dispose of the telescope. During its five space shuttle missions to the service Hubble, NASA used...
