Sharing a Fox News headline on Raskin’s diagnosis, Green sent well wishes to her Democratic colleague.

That show of compassion was both kind and smart of Marjorie to do then. She showed a different side of herself, vs the combative partisan who is helping the GOP.
Not that the Dems would ever publicly return the favor were conditions reversed.

i am a cancer survivor. never kick a cancer patient when they are diagnosed, and just starting treatment ... that is a poison there is no cure for.

I agree. If we model our behavior on those that are evil and repulsive to us, we are no better than they.
Every politician in DC gets along on a personal basis when the cameras are off. When cameras are on, they pretend to despise each other because that means votes and money. Meanwhile, all us little people waste time wishing harm on people like Raskin while Raskin and Greene laugh at us from their glamorous cocktail parties.
The difference is that, just like “beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear down to the bone” — the ugliness on the outside of Dems’ behaviour, is only a faint indication of all they’d really do to their opponents, is given half a chance.

I never wish cancer on anyone. I also don’t think pushing tyranny on to people is forgivable.
