"And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. "Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil." Luke, Chapter 6 1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing...

We continue to see politicians drudge up long-debunked arguments about how gun control somehow reduces violent crime. It isn't true, which is why, for example, the infamous 1994 Assault Weapons Ban was allowed to expire. Finally, we're seeing courts and judges rule reasonably in favor of Second Amendment rights, and even demographics once considered "anti-gun" -- like young adults and people of color -- are warming to the idea of exercising their Second Amendment rights. But the question remains, why do politicians stick to such a rigid, repetitive script on guns? Casual observers would argue this is relatively new, with...

I apologize, the proposal began in 1991 for Russia to join NATO. But the final agreement with respect to Ukraine’s nukes was not in Belgrade but in Budapest. History has been rewritten to support the war against Russia for climate change. I have never seen any account of history that reports NATO invited Russia to join in 1991. Some people are so pro-Ukrainian that it is insane. They are really cheering for World War III and no doubt believed in COVID, Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and Hillary’s RussiaGate. They refuse to open their eyes to see that they...

The World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Wednesday that measles is rapidly spreading in multiple regions across the world. They agencies blamed the resurgence of measles on a decrease in childhood vaccination during COVID-19 and less monitoring of the illness, Reuters reported. Measles is considered extremely contagious and only preventable among a population if there is a 95 percent vaccination rate. There were around 40 million children who did not get a measles vaccine in 2021 because of increased difficulties in accessing medical treatments during COVID, the WHO and the CDC said...

A woman living in the county, who doesn’t wish to be named, purchased a handgun right before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her long-time boyfriend had passed away, and she felt she needed to protect herself. That is when the problem with her next-door neighbor started. The neighbor living near her allegedly threatened to kill her and burn down her house. Fearing for her life, she called 911. The Nassau County Police Department responded to the call and took care of the incident. She still feared for her life, knowing she would have to leave her home without her...

The days before Thanksgiving are like free throws at the craps table for President Biden and his administration. If they win, great — and if they lose, or do something ridiculously hypocritical, almost nobody is paying attention. By Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, many of the regular White House correspondents have already left for the long weekend. Many of the big-time cable anchors are off as well, or working from their home studios. As for many newspapers, mostly canned pieces about Black Friday are being offered for print. Thus, Biden’s quiet Tuesday extension of the student loan payment holiday should come...

Government health officials could have saved themselves by coming clean a few months into the COVID-19 jab scam. At this point, there’s no way to save face, let alone anyone’s career.Story at a glance:The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has publicly warned that COVID-19 is one of the Top 10 causes of death in children aged 5 to 11, yet when asked to produce the data, they admitted they never conducted an analysis for that age group. The CDC has also lied about Pfizer’s study results. While claiming the Pfizer jab was 92% effective for those with previous COVID-19...

Former Trump White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-hosts Tuesday on “The View” that many in the Republican Party misunderstood outgoing National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s role in the COVID pandemic. Griffin said, “Dr. Fauci is a friend of mine. It was such an honor to work with him during the height of COVID. Congratulations on an incredible 50-year career. I was surprised by what a boogeyman he came for the right. I did tell him early on if you go on TV too much, you’re going to put yourself out...

It's been nearly one month since Elon Musk entered Twitter's San Francisco headquarters carrying a sink, and he's apparently still discovering new areas of the seven-story, 480,000 square foot office space. On Tuesday night, Musk stumbled upon quite the find in a closet at Twitter HQ and, while it's not literal skeletons, the find does help explain part of what was wrong with the ideological homogeneity of Twitter's corporate culture that favored leftists and castigated conservatives for years. In a video posted to Twiter, Musk can be heard explaining "Here we are at the merch, and there's an entire closet...

The media is shifty when it comes to mass shootings. They decide which shootings we do and do not get to hear about. If a shooting doesn’t jive with the liberal narrative, you’re not likely to hear the gory details. The recent mass shooting in Colorado Springs is the 601st mass shooting in 2022. There have been four mass shootings since then, but you likely haven’t about them. You probably didn’t hear about most of the previous 600 shootings, either. Why is that? Because the left is keeping secrets. Let’s talk about what they don’t want you to know about...

The Washington Post is reporting that Elon Musk made several “woke” staff members “cry” when he started rolling out his free speech agenda at Twitter. In a Tuesday tech report, the newspaper accuses Musk of undermining Twitter’s ability to “protect vulnerable communities.” The article, written by reporters Cat Zakrzewski, Faiz Siddiqui, and Joseph Menn, argues that Musk imposed his will on the company by gutting the “Trust and Safety team.” The team previously handled the censorship of Twitter users and deliberated to “define dangerous language.” The piece, headlined “Musk’s ‘free speech’ agenda dismantles safety work at Twitter, insiders say,” suggests...

New home sales jumped last month despite consistently high mortgage rates that experts say have hampered affordability and pushed potential buyers out of the market. Sales of new single-family homes rose by 7.5 percent in October at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 632,000, according to Census Bureau data released on Wednesday. But the new sales fell behind the October 2021 estimate by 5.8 percent. The median sales price of new single-family homes sold in October was $493,000, while the average sales price was $544,000. New sales numbers follow separate data released last week that shows existing home sales declining...

It was originally believed that these selfish genes would not remain in populations for long periods of time. The finding could alter our understanding of how parasitic DNA affects genome evolution. Meiotic drivers, a kind of selfish gene, are indeed selfish. They are found in virtually all species’ genomes, including humans, and unjustly transfer their genetic material to more than half of their offspring, resulting in infertility and impaired organism health. Their longevity over evolutionary time was thought to be brief due to their parasitic potential, until recently. The Stowers Institute for Medical Research, in collaboration with the National Institute...

Donors just didn’t want to back a loser — and that’s just what Mr. Trump is now — a loser. “Hedge fund manager Ken Griffin, the second-most prolific GOP donor of the midterms, said Tuesday that he would support [Florida Gov. Ron] DeSantis over Trump, pointing to the Florida governor’s dominant reelection victory in a state that was considered competitive until recently,” The Hill reported this week. “I’d like to think that the Republican Party is ready to move on from somebody who has been for this party a three-time loser,” said Mr. Griffin, who funded a pro-Trump super political...

NEW YORK, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Retailers ranging from Walmart to Barnes & Noble are installing cameras or locking away items to deter shoplifters and thieves as they brace for a post-pandemic rush of holiday shoppers this year. Some, including Walmart, J.C. Penney, Apple Inc. and Walgreens, put in place new surveillance systems or more security guards. Others, like Target and Barnes & Noble, sealed merchandise behind plexiglass or tethered it with steel cables to store shelves. The retail industry has decried theft this holiday season as it struggles with excess inventories and a pullback in consumer spending at a...

Bernell Trammell, 59, was a black man who was well-known for holding political and religious signs outside his store. He ran “Expressions Journal,” a small publication where he also made large signs he was known to carry. He was known by many neighbors as a peaceful man, unafraid to make his voice heard with the words on his large signs, and now his voice will no longer be heard. Milwaukee police are still searching for the murderer. This petition is to ensure the person responsible for this is found and sent to jail.
