House Republicans have put Democrat President Joe Biden on notice and introduced a proposal to audit the billions of dollars in taxpayer money his administration has sent to Ukraine.
The measure was introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) with the support of Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Thomas Massie (R-KY), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Barry Moore (R-AL), Matt Rosendale (R-MT), Andrew Clyde (R-GA), Dan Bishop (R-NC), Greg Steube (R-FL), and Clay Higgins (R-LA).
The funds the GOP plans to audit will include all military spending, humanitarian aid, and economic aid sent by America to Ukraine.
Greene issued a statement on the move, saying:
“The American people deserve to know where their hard-earned tax dollars are going to a foreign country that is not a member of NATO and President Biden himself said he would not defend.
“We’re ignoring the dangers happening in our country while we are completely protecting another country’s border and waging a proxy war with Russia.
“The American people are who we represent and I can tell you right now, my district … is not interested in continuing to fund a war in Ukraine and defending Ukraine‘s border while our border is being invaded every single day,” she said.
Congressman Rosendale said:
“Congress sent almost 66 billion in taxpayer dollars to Ukraine over the past year, and President Biden is urging the House to rush another 37.7 billion through a lame-duck session.
“It is unthinkable for the United States to send more funding to a nation tied to cryptocurrency exchange FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried’s election spending.
“The American people deserve a full investigation.”
According to The Washington Times:
Last month, 30 liberal lawmakers in the House urged President Biden in an open letter to push more assertively for peace talks, a clear break within the president.
The lawmakers also suggested Mr. Biden would have strong Democratic support for aid to Ukraine if he followed their advice, urging the president to “pair the military and economic support the United States has provided to Ukraine with a proactive diplomatic push.”
..Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Washington Democrat and Congressional Progressive Caucus chairwoman, later withdrew the letter under intense pressure from party leaders.
Lots of tough talk. We will see if they walk the walk starting Jan 1. I’m skeptical.
Me too.....
McCarthy is a snake....................
Wonder how much of those funds circled back into biden’s pockets.
“McCarthy is a snake....................”

Notice how many “republicans” have participated in this free for all corrupt money laundering giveaway
How much back to Bidum? Awww C,mon, you know the answer: 10 percent to the Big Guy. He needs to remodel his Dacha, doncha know?
Much of the money goes to pay Ukrainian government salaries supposedly.
Are the workers (and Ukrainian service members) getting dollars or Ukrainian money?
If Ukrainian money (or zilch), what happened to the dollars?
The Democrats only need 2 Republicans to vote with them to control legislation.

I just wanted to hear it again :)
What I want to know is where is all the money that the State Department lost when Hillary was secretary of state?
the thought that she could hve become president...makes me want to puke
I won’t believe it until I see it. Too many on our side talk a good game but seldom deliver. Too much talk and not enough action.
There aren’t enough of them.
No need for an audit — just cut off the funds and return them to the taxpayers who earned them.
How many of those ‘Republicans’ supported sending money to the Ukraine??
Biggest threat here is how long it will take for nothing to happen.
