Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Wednesday that he has signed a law introducing martial law in four Ukrainian regions the Kremlin has sought to annex, in violation of international law. The regions — Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk — are not under full Russian control. Western nations have decried the annexations and vowed not to recognize them as Russian territory. Putin made the comments during a scheduled Security Council meeting. “In this regard, let me remind you that in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, martial law was...

Calling it "probably the largest data breach in United States history," Los Angeles County prosecutor Eric Neff said Chinese contractors working for a Michigan-based software company had direct control over U.S. election data through an app for poll workers called PollChief. The prosecutor, describing the volume of data in the breach as "astounding," was commenting on the criminal case against Eugene Yu, the CEO of Konnech, for allegedly storing Los Angeles election worker data on servers based in China. The complaint issued by the L.A. District Attorney’s Office cited as evidence a message from a Konnech project manager through a...

Democrats’ lead over Republicans on the generic congressional ballot now stands at 1 point with just three weeks left until Election Day, according to a Politico-Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday. Forty five percent of registered voters in the new survey said they would vote for the Democratic candidate in their congressional district, compared to the 44 percent who would cast their ballots for the Republican. It’s not surprising that Democrats have been salivating ever since the House panel unanimously voted to subpoena Trump last week. As is ever the case with Trump, be careful what you wish for. There are all kinds of ways in which Trump’s testimony can backfire on his antagonists. First, one of the reasons the Jan. 6 committee hearings have had whatever success they have had is that it is an uninterrupted, one-sided narrative.

When this incoming class of conservative hardliners joins those already on Capitol Hill, a potential Speaker McCarthy could have dramatically more headaches to deal with than he did before. That’s not only because these lawmakers’ controversial antics and views could distract from the House GOP’s messaging, just as Greene and others have routinely done over the last two years. But under a Republican majority, these lawmakers could form a boisterous bloc willing to leverage their influence with the party base to pick fights on everything from funding the federal government to investigating the Biden administration. Republicans, said former Rep. Denver...

Jury verdicts are not an indictment of John Durham, and he is not the one who should be embarrassed.A Virginia jury acquitted Steele dossier’s primary sub-source Igor Danchenko on Tuesday of charges he lied to the FBI about a supposed telephone call he received in the summer of 2016. On numerous occasions during the Crossfire Hurricane and Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigations, Danchenko told the FBI he had received an anonymous telephone call from an individual he believed was Sergei Millian. Among other things, Danchenko maintained the caller revealed there was a well-developed “conspiracy of cooperation” between the Trump campaign...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” CNN’s Chief Political Analyst Gloria Borger stated that President Joe Biden is talking about abortion because he “doesn’t want this election to be about the things that people are so worried about, inflation and the economy.” Borger stated, “I think what the President was trying to do today is remind people, as he put it, how they felt the day of the Dobbs decision. He was trying to make it front and center because we know that when it was front and center, there was a huge reaction to it. And he’s also...

AT A MINUTE before 5 a.m. on April 27, ABC News’ James Gordon Meek fired off a tweet with a single word: “FACTS.” The network’s national-security investigative producer was responding to former CIA agent Marc Polymeropoulos’ take that the Ukrainian military — with assistance from the U.S. — was thriving against Russian forces. Polymeropoulos’ tweet — filled with acronyms indecipherable to the layperson, like “TTPs,” “UW,” and “EW” — was itself a reply to a missive from Washington Post Pentagon reporter Dan Lamothe, who noted the wealth of information the U.S. military had gathered about Russian ops by observing their...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 7 The Narrow and Wide Gates 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it._______________________________________________________New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. The Biden White House reportedly directed the Democrat mayor of El Paso, Texas, to not declare a state of emergency over the massive influx of illegal immigrants overwhelming the city due to concerns it would make Democrats look bad ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. According to the New York Post, at least three of the El Paso City Council’s eight members have asked Mayor Oscar Leeser to issue an emergency declaration in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the thousands of migrants who have filled city’s shelters and hotels, but he has thus far resisted taking that step....
