Florida's "silent" flying dish-rack, powered by ionic propulsion, is on track for commercial rollout in 2024, according to Undefined Technologies, which has released new outdoor flight test video. We remain curious, but unconvinced it'll be viable. The "Silent Ventus" drone doesn't use propellers to fly. Instead, its entire broad structure creates two stacked grids of electrodes, designed to create high-voltage electric fields that can ionize the oxygen and nitrogen molecules in the air, freeing electrons to give them a positive charge, and then propelling these downward to create an "ionic wind" that can produce thrust. It's not new; ionic propulsion...

Russia had already declared its intent in spring, and is now going ahead with plans to annex the territories it has occupied in the south and east of Ukraine on a fast-track basis. Simultaneous votes in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions have been scheduled from September 23 to September 27. In a speech on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested that Moscow would recognize the results. Just as it did with the Crimean annexation in 2014, Russia is making a point of appearing not to be involved. It was local Ukrainian politicians supported by the Russian military who...

Whoopi Goldberg told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that she was attempting to think former President Donald Trump into jail after playing a clip on Trump saying a president can declassify documents by “thinking about it.” On Fox News Wednesday night, Trump said, “If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘It’s declassified.’ Even by thinking about it. Because you are sending it to Mar-a-Lago or where ever you are sending it. There doesn’t have to be a process.

They've scored their first kill. 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson was intentionally mowed down by a man motivated by Joe Biden's and Tim Ryan's incendiary attacks on Republicans. Ellison was murdered by Shannon Brandt who "Republican extremist." Who uses that kind of language? Biden. Ryan. Pretty much all democrats. When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir? – JM Keynes Climate Policy is in crisis. This month, the G20 Climate Conference in Bali collapsed in confusion – preceded by the flops of both COP26 in Glasgow and COP25 in Madrid. Three decades of climate talks (52 weeks of Conferencing) have failed dismally – and the global objective of stabilizing atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions is no nearer being attained than it was at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992. The initial hopes engendered by the tepid Paris Agreement of 2015 (Paris15) have been dashed. No...

VIDEO AT LINK................... Missouri GOP Senator Josh Hawley grilled Colleen Shogan, President Biden’s nominee to lead the National Archives and Records Administration, noting that she had written a paper he said disparaged every two-term Republican president since World War II. Hawley’s questions came during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing on Wednesday. “You have talked in today’s hearings so far and in your pre-hearing Q&A about how much it’s important to be a non-partisan leader, correct?” Hawley began. “And so if you’re confirmed, you will attempt to stay politically neutral in your decision making, is that fair...

There is a Freerepublic group there which cross-posts many of the article here. https://gab.com/groups/67851Learn how to use Gab's filters in your settings and you control what you see and don't see. The left likes to pose as NAZIs and racists to make GAB look bad (and I'm sure there is a few real ones there too). Just put those words you don't want to see in your filter and you won't have to see those posts/comments.
