Almost a month after one of the biggest names in sneaker resale was accused of orchestrating a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme, federal prosecutors are now being tasked with selling off millions of dollars worth of exclusive stock. Michael Malekzadeh, once called the Bernie Madoff of Sneakers, was charged with wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and money laundering on Aug. 3, accused of swindling millions of dollars out of his customers by selling exclusive shoes which never arrived. Now, more than 59,780 pairs of shoes neatly boxed up are in the hands of a court-appointed receiver who needs to sell...

Immigration watchdogs say nearly 4.9 million unauthorized immigrants have entered the U.S. since President Joe Biden took office last year, and have branded New York and Los Angeles as the country's most dangerous sanctuary cities. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) says the record flow of people into the U.S. since Biden's inauguration includes 3.4 million crossings at the southwest border and 900,000 others who slipped in there undetected.

If Republicans take over the U.S. House, they will have authority to empower Speaker Kevin McCarthy to sue President Joe Biden over his illegal transfer of student debt to non-college families, because the president has no power to “cancel” those debts. The national uproar continues over Biden’s transferring hundreds of billions of dollars of debt from adults who attended college and still owe money, to taxpayers who either (1) never attended college, (2) saved money to pay for college, or (3) borrowed money to attend college but then honored their debt contract by paying off their loans.

Following up here on the Shia Labeouf story of yesterday, the link below is the very human, very revealing, (though unbelievable for some as the Bible was not so instrumental in this), interview of this man’s spiritual story that overcame him in a way he could not conceive of- while preparing for a role in the movie about the life of Padre Pio. For me, having written off the vapid, self-absorbed, artificial world that is Hollywood, I know I was not expecting this kind of riveting interview. You may think it’s just a typical story of the celebrity who “finds...

Economic war with Russia is likely to keep prices high and send growth into reverse but specter of rationing is fading. There is no end in sight for Europe’s surge in energy prices. That could be just what the continent needs to avoid the devastating effects of having to ration natural gas this winter. This is because prices are so high—many times their level from last year—that they are forcing Europeans to save fuel and secure alternative supplies. That has resulted in rising gas reserves and a higher likelihood that the economy will shrink but not crash outright in the...

When will the pope resign? For many Catholics unhappy about the direction of travel of the Church under Pope Francis, if and when he will resign are perhaps the most asked questions. This is not distasteful or idle court gossip. The Catholic Church is a hierarchical organisation directed in outlook and ideology by its leader, who a small College of Cardinals elect. This doesn’t mean the College can ignore sentiment within the Church, especially in an era when attendance is falling – including in unlikely places – and with the power of social media Catholics have a megaphone. So, it is...

Remember Christmas 2020? Donald Trump was still president, COVID vaccines were just rolling out, and most importantly, Americans across the political spectrum were engaged in a bitter dispute over the results of the November election. (snip) Trump has been raided, and there’s a real possibility he will be indicted and arrested. The image of seeing a former president in cuffs would be horrifying and enraging for all of us. But violence will actively aid the left’s mission to paint Trump supporters as terrorists and even further escalate the surveillance and persecution of the political right in America.

"Thursday August 25, 2022, saw Usurper in Thief Joe Biden’s latest risky scheme to 100% intentionally crash the U.S. economy revealed and if you guess forgiving college debt you won. Meanwhile, America lost as SOMEONE will pay that debt back and that someone will be ALL taxpayers. Plus the bonus is we don’t get to repossess those expensive educations. One person doing a victory lap and slapping down the logic of how evil the action is was Debbie Dingell (D is for Debacle) who derided “armchair economists” as if you need to be an economist or sitting in an armchair...

At a rally Thursday night in Rockville, Maryland, Joe Biden said “assault weapons” will be banned if Democrats pick up two more Senate seats in November. The Washington Post quoted Biden saying, “I want to be crystal clear about what’s on the ballot this year…Your right to choose is on the ballot this year. The Social Security you paid for from the time you had a job is on the ballot. The safety of our kids from gun violence is on the ballot.”

At least five people were injured on the El Toro ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey on Thursday night, according to local police and parks officials. Several parkgoers complained of back pain after riding the roller coaster around 7:30 p.m. and five of them were taken to a local hospital, a Six Flags spokesperson told The Post. A woman who said she was on the El Toro Thursday night wrote on Facebook that “it felt like [the roller coaster] hit a pothole” after the third drop. This announcement will directly affect the monthly payouts of over 65 million beneficiaries. For most aged Americans, Social Security is imperative to their financial well-being. An April survey conducted by national pollster Gallup found that 84% of non-retirees believe Social Security will represent a “major” or “minor” source of income during their golden years. Meanwhile, 89% of existing retired workers are currently leaning on their Social Security income, to some degree, to make ends meet.Given how important monthly Social Security checks are for seniors, there simply isn’t a more anticipated annual announcement than the cost-of-living adjustment (COLA).What is the cost-of-living adjustment...

According to Alyssa Rosenberg, the aim of school athletics is not to teach children the art of achieving excellence but rather to build character, and what better way to build character in a teenage girl than having her experience the frustration of losing that championship title to a biological male? Her argument largely hinges on the unicorn of “sports-crazed parents” who will theoretically use transgender athletes in women’s sports as an excuse in the event their daughter loses. Rosenberg feels that high school athletic programs will enact full-blown inquisitions in which girls are forced to prove their biological gender. Citing...

Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook restricting a story about Joe Biden's son during the 2020 election was based on FBI misinformation warnings. The New York Post alleged leaked emails from Hunter Biden's laptop showed the then vice-president was helping his son's business dealings in Ukraine. Facebook and Twitter restricted sharing of the article, before reversing course amid allegations of censorship. Zuckerberg said that getting the decision wrong "sucks". "When we take down something that we're not supposed to, that's the worst," Zuckerberg said in a rare extended media interview on the Joe Rogan podcast. The New York Post story was released...

Pennsylvania Senate hopeful John Fetterman (D.) opposes vouchers that let children in failing public school districts attend private and charter schools. But the progressive champion, who lives in one of Pennsylvania’s worst performing school districts, sends his kids to an elite prep school. Fetterman’s kids attend the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, where parents pay up to $34,250 for a "dynamic" learning environment and an "innovative" approach to teaching. They would otherwise go to schools in Woodland Hills School District, where graduation rates are far below the state average. The local elementary school that serves Fetterman’s town of Braddock is...

Where’s Katie?Trump-Endorsed Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake posted a video on Saturday calling her radical Leftist Democrat opponent a “coward” for ducking out of the gubernatorial debate.“It looks like my radical opponent, Katie Hobbs, is going to take a page out of Joe Biden’s playbook and campaign from her basement,” said Kari Lake in her message, slamming Hobbs and challenging her to a softball debate. We reported months before the Republican Primary Election that Lake issued a similar message to her RINO Primary opponents who were also too scared to debate Lake, saying, “grow a spine and debate me.”Nobody wants to...

Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly and publicly called for the release of an FBI affidavit that formed the basis of the bureau's search of his Mar-a-Lago club and private residence. On Thursday, a federal judge granted Trump's request, ordering the release of a redacted version of the affidavit. But legal and national-security experts say the former president should be careful what he wishes for and that the document's release could land him in more hot water. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart ruled that the Justice Department must file a redacted version of the affidavit to the public docket by noon...
