Cheney did not participate in the debate sponsored by the Uinta County Republican Party, but GOP primary challenger Harriet Hageman criticized her for being absent from Congress for the two votes. “I believe she’s attempting to shore up support from the Democrats and that’s why she stayed away from voting for that,” candidate Harriet Hageman said.

House Democrats' marquee summer show of primetime investigative hearings ended Thursday night where it began: unable or unwilling to answer essential questions about the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. Chief among them: If Donald Trump wanted to incite violence that fateful day, as his critics suggest, then why did he order the Pentagon to have a large military force ready to quell a disturbance? And why did a Democrat-led Congress turn down the assistance of pop National Guard troops in the face of intelligence warnings about violence?

From day one to day one-thousand-four-hundred-sixty-one, no opposition was too much opposition by anyone, in every institution and every branch – including both wings of the UniParty congress, upper and lower chambers.…….. Sometimes I laugh at the hindsight of people who say Donald Trump had terrible judgement in his appointments. I snicker because these are the same people who said General James “Mad Dog” Mattis was the greatest military leader since George Washington. How did that role as defense secretary work out? No wait, Trump could have done a better job against the 147,000 people in the United States Dept...

Former President Donald Trump, seeking to capitalize on President Joe Biden's sagging approval ratings among young Americans, delivered a fiery speech Saturday night in Tampa, Florida."Now we are a beggar nation," Trump told the young crowd of the Turning Point Action Summit. "We are a beggar nation, with Biden down on his knees pleading for energy from all over the globe — going to Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, going to countries all over the globe asking for help."And we have more liquid gold under our feet than all of these other countries that you hear about and that they talk about...

Treating liver cancer tumors to shrink them in order to allow the patient to qualify for a liver transplant leads to excellent 10-year post-transplant outcomes, according to research. The results validate current national policies around transplant eligibility. Selection of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the most common form of liver cancer, for transplant has been guided for more than two decades by standards known as the Milan criteria. The Milan criteria state that transplantation should be performed in those with a single tumor of five centimeters or less in diameter or three tumors that are each three centimeters or less...

Initiating early treatment benefits patients who have not fully developed rheumatoid arthritis, but who are manifesting preliminary stages of the disease, researchers have reported. By temporarily prescribing methotrexate in the "pre-rheumatic phase," patients suffer from reduced long-term joint inflammations, pain and physical limitations. "At present, methotrexate is only prescribed to the patient following a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis," explains Annette van der Helm, Professor. "But that is too late. By then, the disease is already considered chronic." The researchers hope to prevent or reduce disease burden by giving methotrexate to patients likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis. Although early treatment did not...

The multi-million-dollar welfare scam in Mississippi is an onion with many levels. Some have been explored. Some haven’t. Now, some may be stopping others from the effort to keep peeling. The firing happened a week after he sent a subpoena to the University of Southern Mississippi aimed at exploring why and how the school received $5 million in welfare funds to build a volleyball stadium. “All I did, and I believe all that caused me...
