Donald Trump and Elon Musk Have Something In Common
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 24July | Sundance

From day one to day one-thousand-four-hundred-sixty-one, no opposition was too much opposition by anyone, in every institution and every branch – including both wings of the UniParty congress, upper and lower chambers.……..

Sometimes I laugh at the hindsight of people who say Donald Trump had terrible judgement in his appointments. I snicker because these are the same people who said General James “Mad Dog” Mattis was the greatest military leader since George Washington. How did that role as defense secretary work out?

No wait, Trump could have done a better job against the 147,000 people in the United States Dept of State, extending like metastatic cancer around the globe from their primary origination point in foggy bottom DC.

Fantastic article, especially how he addresses the “Pres Trump picked terrible people”.

Lots of great points.

Is it their fondness for babies, or at least making them?

(Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

Trump and Musk are both alpha males. Musk has wandered into Trump’s herd. A definitive showdown is inevitable.

I hope you don’t mind my earlier attempt at humor. I couldn’t resist.

Thanks for posting. That was a good read. The comparison is good. Trump did better against far greater a hostile workforce than even Musk was up against. He had good ideas and they need to become permanent.

If Donald Trump can’t fix what is wrong in the USA then I am pretty sure that no one can without it first going into a full meltdown and people turning back to God.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......
There are only less than a dozen genuine MAGA politicians in the country. Trump could have searched until blue in the face, and not find enough. There is a reason why DC swamp is hard to dismantle, it is the wealthiest part of country. Politicians, Bureaucrats, govt contractors are all making big bucks, and they will protect the golden goose with everything they got.

Just one anecdotal example I am familiar with. A relative of mine was struggling to make a good living in his work setting up wireless networks for businesses. Then he moved to DC became a gov’t contractor, and now he owns a 6 seater jet plane, bought a $1.5 million vacation house on beach in Florida, and has a mansion in DC burbs.

Selecting appointments is a risky thing some change once they get their foot in the door of higher office and egos revs for some.
Only the strong stay committed to the rules it’s something presidents have to deal with.
