UPDATE — Louisiana’s abortion ban is back in effect after a judge lifted a temporary block on the state’s abortion trigger laws. The Orleans Parish District Court granted the temporary restraining order (TRO) last week in response to a lawsuit filed by the Center for Reproductive Rights on behalf of June Medical Services, which operates an abortion clinic in Shreveport. The suit challenges the abortion laws that went into effect after the U.S. Supreme Court effectively overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24, leaving the decision up to states on whether to ban abortions. In the original request for the...

A left-wing activist group is encouraging users on social media to tweet the location of any of the conservative Supreme Court Justices in exchange for money. The justices were the majority who voted to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision last month. Since then, pro-abortion activists have repeatedly protested outside the justices' homes and, in some cases, confronted them in public. ShutDownDC is promising a bounty of $50 for anyone who shares a 'confirmed sighting' and a further $200 if they are still in that location half an hour later. 'DC Service Industry Workers... Vice President Kamala Harris says that congress needs to act and pass a law guaranteeing abortion rights to American women. In an interview with CBS News' Robert Costa, Harris said that women have been stripped of a 'constitutional right' following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade. Harris said: 'I think all of us share a deep sense of outrage that the United States Supreme Court took a constitutional right that was recognized, took it from the women of America.' The vice president continued: 'We are now looking at a case where the government can interfere in what...

The crack in the magnet field was created by a rare phenomenon called a co-rotating interaction region (CIR) from the Sun. CIRs are large-scale plasma structures generated in the low and mid-latitude regions of the heliosphere – the region surrounding the Sun that includes the solar magnetic field and the solar winds – when fast and slow-moving streams of solar wind interact. Like coronal mass ejections (CMEs), CIRs get flung out from the Sun towards Earth and can contain shockwaves and compressed magnetic fields that cause stormy space weather, which usually presents itself to us as pretty aurorae. This one...

OutKick founder Clay Travis predicted how billionaire Elon Musk's deal to buy Twitter will play out Friday on "Jesse Watters Primetime." CLAY TRAVIS: What's going to end up happening — I'm looking right now, the stock price is down around $2 in the after-hours trading, which suggests what I think is the most likely outcome here. Which is Elon Musk and Twitter are going to engage in a protracted legal battle before they end up coming to an agreement on — if I were predicting a purchase price — somewhere less than $44 billion. Musk can argue that he's getting...

Tucker Carlson examines the Wuhan lab leak theory in the origin of coronavirus Well, I think it escaped from the lab because we have the Chinese government basically telling us that it did. Wuhan is the only level four laboratory in all of China. So that's where you would put a dangerous pathogen, whether you were a genetically engineering it to be a weapon or not, that's where you would be experimenting on it. So, it makes sense that the epicenter of the epidemic, that the lab there would be the source of that virus.

“ATTENTION – Your gas guzzler kills. We have deflated one or more of your tires. You’ll be angry, but don’t take it personally. It’s not you, it’s your car.” The letters placed on windshields, along with said deflated tires, are what greeted several Bay Area drivers on the morning of July 5. The letters contained a message written by an international group that deflates the tires of SUVs and other larger vehicles in the name of fighting climate change. “We did this because driving around urban areas in your massive vehicle has huge consequences for others,” the leaflet says. “We’re...

Alan Dershowitz slammed Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) on Fox News moments after the congresswoman demonized people who are pro-choice. Appearing on Friday’s Hannity, Boebert told a whopper to guest host Gregg Jennings, stating that “genocide squad” progressives want abortion even when it comes to babies that have been birthed.......... Dershowitz said he opposes protesting justices at restaurants and their homes, but then ripped into Boebert for her remarks: Look, I oppose the reversal of Roe v. Wade. I think, by the way, what Congresswoman Bobert said – calling people on my side of the issue the “genocide squad” and saying...

...Vaccine opponents have appropriated “My Body, My Choice,” a slogan that has been inextricably linked to reproductive rights for nearly half a century, to fight mask and vaccine mandates across the country — including in California, where lawmakers had vowed to adopt the toughest vaccine requirements in the U.S. As the anti-vaccine contingent has notched successes, the abortion rights movement has taken hit after hit, culminating in the June 24 Supreme Court decision that ended the federal constitutional right to abortion. The ruling leaves it up to states to decide, and up to 26 states are expected to ban or...

For months, Germany has feared having to ration energy amid Russia’s increasing willingness to turn off the tap. Now those fears are becoming a reality as Germany prepares for a return to 1970s-style energy rationing, when the OPEC oil embargo forced governments to mandate measures like dimmer lights and car-free Sundays. Only, the energy crisis of 2022 isn’t limited to oil. Last year, Germany relied on Russia for 55% of its natural gas imports. Germany has since been able to reduce that number to 35%, but with Russia seemingly prepared to further cut gas shipments to Europe, German officials are...

Thousands of people have been making fake reservations at Morton's steakhouse after the restaurant defended conservative Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who voted to overturn Roe v. While the court has yet to comment on Kavanaugh's behalf regarding the incident, a representative for Morton's wrote in a statement to Politico: "Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were...

We have already lost our opportunity to contain monkeypox, and that is really bad news. But if authorities are...
