WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The congressional committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol will hold a hearing on the evening of July 14, a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday. The hearing will be the second one to take place next week and is aimed at reaching a broad television audience during prime viewing hours. Some committee members, including Republican Representative Liz Cheney, have argued that former President Donald Trump should be held criminally liable for allegedly encouraging the attack on the Capitol by his supporters, in which several people died.

Four Norman Rockwell works featured in the White House have been taken down and replaced with photos of President Joe Biden, according to Politico. Politico first reported the paintings were taken down on Tuesday, writing two individuals familiar with the matter said members of the Rockwell family had requested the art be returned to them. Their request was granted last year. A person familiar with the matter said the paintings had been replaced with "several jumbo photos of Biden."

In July 2021, the country committed itself to donating the rest of the stock it obtained, some 17.7 million doses. Kentucky Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear's office released an email that confirmed President Biden planned to nominate an anti-abortion judge to the bench - the same day Roe was overturned. The Courier Journal reported Wednesday that Beshear's office handed over a June 23 email that stated: 'To be nominated tomorrow: ... White House employees have left Joe Biden's administration at a nearly 4 percent and 15 percent faster rate than under Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump respectively. According to the salary reports of all White House employees sent to Congress each summer, the administration's staff dropped 560 to 474 – a 15 percent decrease – from 2021 to 2022.
