Today Air Greenland passengers were treated to a very scenic journey around Greenland and Iceland. Unfortunately they ended up exactly where they started, which wasn’t the plan. Air Greenland operates a single wide body aircraft, which generally flies between Kangerlussuaq, Greenland (SFJ), and Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH). This service to & from Greenland’s largest airport is one of the primary links for both passengers and cargo to get to the region. This ~2,200 mile flight usually takes under five hours in each direction. Air Greenland has a single wide body jet, an Airbus A330-200, which is roughly 24 years old and...

Dr. Mehmet Oz has quietly ditched his campaign messaging away from President Trump after winning the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania. Prior to Oz’s win, Trump was proudly featured on his campaign site and popped up on the doctor’s Twitter. However, after winning the Republican nomination, Oz hasn’t included or mentioned Trump since. Oz’s Twitter banner used to say “endorsed by Trump,” featuring a photo of the pair, now there is only a solo photo of Oz that reads “Thank you Pennsylvania.”

Lawmakers are sounding alarms about more violence at Republican Party offices and pro-life organizations across the country if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. Attacks on offices tied to the Republican National Committee, GOP lawmakers, and pro-life groups have begun in anticipation of the ruling, including attacks this week where vandals spray-painted slogans and smashed windows. “We should be concerned,” said Rep. Thomas Massie, Kentucky Republican. “Democrats here need to come out and speak against the violence.” The vandalism and violence began after a leaked opinion last month showed the Supreme Court was set to overturn the landmark 1973...

Individuals with diabetes display a substantially increased risk of disease in left-sided heart valves compared to controls without diabetes. The statistical analyses also indicate that valvular heart disease can be prevented by lowering blood pressure and reducing other risk factors even more than current treatment targets. Four heart valves serve to make the blood go in the right direction. Since the pressure is highest on the left side of the heart, valve disease most often affects these two valves. Both individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes are at a higher risk of developing it and, for the latter,...

Apparently the world’s supply of a favorite hot dog condiment doesn’t cut the … err … mustard. And, as a result, we may be looking at an international mustard shortage sooner than we think. According to Business Insider, a year of poor mustard seed production is the cause of what may result in a lack of mustard on American grocery store shelves in the near future. Experts say you can thank climate change for the large drop in mustard seed production, with Canada (the world’s second largest producer) and France watching the most recent growing season’s yields fall 28 percent...
