Ever wondered what types of batteries are used to power electric and hybrid vehicles (EHVs)? Well, the majority of EHVs being driven on our roads today will use lithium-ion (Li-ion) or lithium polymer batteries. ... They pose a potentially lethal chemical hazard to anyone working on or near EHVs. ... Since the electrolyte is a liquid, there is always the possibility that it could leak from inside the battery – we’ve all seen standard AA batteries that have leaked leaving white potassium hydroxide crystals on their outer casing, right? Well, that’s the danger with lithium-ion batteries. If the electrolyte inside...

I’ve got a great new business opportunity for someone: reversible protest signs. One side reads, “Down with Elon Musk!” The other side reads, “Down with the Supreme Court!” Call the enterprise “Sustainable Protest Supplies,” but make sure you use recycled paperboard. Incidentally, one of Stan Evans’s old Monday Club jokes ran: “Bob Dole has come out for reversing Roe v. Wade. He wants it to be Wade v. Roe.” A more biting quip of his that comes back to mind this week: “It’s a good thing Capitol Hill Republicans are pro-life, since they spend so much time in the fetal...

I´m posting this out of curiosity: One of the sources quoted in the tweet says Bichikayev, despite being deputy commander of his regiment, personally led the scouts to perform a particularly important combat mission when he was killed. Can there be a mission important enough for that?

I noted earlier that Justice Alito did not speak to the Fifth Circuit Judicial Conference. As a result, the conference organizers had to shuffle the schedule. We were treated to a presentation from an expert on cyber-security. She discussed at some length how the goal of foreign hacks is to sow discord in our polity. For example, cyber units would deliberately schedule protests for Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter at the same time and in the same location. The goal was to foment division, and perhaps, create a violent confrontation. While watching this fascinating presentation, a thought jumped...

I've been asking everyone: Show me the all-cause mortality data proving the vaccines are safe. I finally got some data. It's from the UK government and it's devastating. REALLY devastating.OverviewNew UK government data allows us to analyze the data in a way we couldn’t before. This new analysis shows clearly that the COVID vaccines kill more people than they save for all age groups. In other words, they shouldn’t be used by anyone. The younger you are, the less sense it makes.Anyone can validate the data and methodology. The results make it clear that the COVID vaccines should be halted...

A 'hero' Russian world champion in an international tank warfare competition was killed when he was sent by Vladimir Putin into a real battle in Ukraine. Bato Basanov, 25, from Buryatia, was in a record-breaking tank biathlon team that performed last year in war games in front of defence minister Sergei Shoigu and chief of the army general staff Valery Gerasimov. But his conflict ended in death when his tank was hit in Ukraine.

Join with fellow FREEPERS across the world to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, Technology, and the Media. The following was read to the House of Representatives yesterday: BIVOUAC, IN FRONT OF WILLIAMSBURGH, Monday, May 5, 1862--10 o'clock, P.M. Hon. E.M. Stanton, Secretary of War: After arranging for movements up York River, I was sent for here. I find Gen. JOE JOHNSTON in front of me, in strong force, probably greater a good deal than my own. Gen. HANCOCK has taken two redoubts and repulsed EARLY's rebel brigade by a real charge with the bayonet, taking one Colonel and a hundred and fifty prisoners, and killing at least two Colonels and many privates. His conduct was brilliant in...

The final phase of the Marjorie Taylor Greene inquisition came to an end this week. After Georgia Democrats spent weeks arguing that Greene needed to be removed from the primary ballot for “taking part in an insurrection,” Judge Charles Beaudrot announced that Greene remains eligible to appear on the ballot. That sent the decision to the Georgia Secretary of State. (Associated Press) A judge in Georgia on Friday found that U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene can run for reelection, rejecting arguments from a group of voters who had challenged her eligibility over allegations that she engaged in insurrection. But the...

ATLANTA, May 6 (Reuters) - Following protests sparked by the leak of a draft U.S. Supreme Court decision indicating the justices are poised to overturn the constitutional right to abortion, Justice Clarence Thomas said on Friday that the court cannot be "bullied." The leak set off a political firestorm, with abortion-rights supporters staging rallies outside the courthouse and at locations around the United States, as well as an internal crisis at the nation's top judicial body where an investigation into the source of the unprecedented disclosure is underway. Thomas, one of the most conservative justices on the nine-member court, made...
