Over 10 of China’s 34 provinces and regions blocked most entrances of their highways on April 11, and an estimated 30 million truckers are stuck on highways or in unfamiliar cities. “More than half of China can’t receive or send out goods. Thirty million trucker drivers are stranded during the deliveries,” reported by state-run Hubei Guangdianrong on April 9. “I thought I could earn 2,000 yuan ($314) more on this trip … However, I have been stranded in Shanghai for 12 days and don’t know when I can leave,” state-run magazine China Entrepreneur quoted truck driver Wei, who was locked...

A critical Danish study published last week in The Lancet examined the possible non-specific effects (NSEs) of the novel COVID-19 vaccines. The study suggests that traditional adenovirus-based vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca may be safer for overall mortality—including COVID-19 deaths, accidental deaths and cardiovascular deaths—than the experimental mRNA-based “vaccines” manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna. The preprint, titled “Randomised Clinical Trials of COVID-19 Vaccines: Do Adenovirus-Vector Vaccines Have Beneficial Non-Specific Effects?,” notes: “Given the public health importance, we used the final study reports currently available from the clinical testing to examine the impact of mRNA and adenovirus-vector vaccines...

Summit News reports: Adding that he and the volunteers “almost got arrested” by the Americans, who asserted they were in charge, the journalist then revealed that they were forced to sign a contract “until the end of the war.” “And who is in charge? It’s the Americans, I saw it with my own eyes,” said Malbrunot, adding, “I thought I was with the international brigades, and I found myself facing the Pentagon.” Malbrunot also mentioned America providing Ukraine with switchblade suicide drones, something highlighted by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in a tweet that revealed Ukrainian soldiers were being trained to...

CNN host Anderson Cooper missed his nightly program on Monday after announcing on social media that he had tested positive for COVID-19. “Just tested positive for Covid,” Cooper posted on Instagram. “Thankfully the kids are negative,” he said, referring to his two sons. “Hope to get back to work soon.” Cooper’s announcement comes amid a spike of the virus in Washington, D.C. A couple weekends ago, elite members of the media gathered with lawmakers and Cabinet officials for a debauched night of frivolity called the Gridiron Dinner. By this past Saturday, dozens of people — including members of the Biden...

Colorado farmer Brian Brooks will be the first to tell you farming in the southeast corner of the Centennial State isn’t for the faint of heart. “You can see the wheat is trying and barely hanging on the roots,” says Brooks, a farmer in Baca County, Colo. “You can just tell how abusive this winter has been.” Brooks farmer says Baca County is the epicenter of the Dust Bowl, and in an area used to arid climate, he says this winter has been nothing short of brutal. “The last big rain event we had it was in August,” says Brooks....

Amid growing cries from residents about hardships in Shanghai, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) strengthened its control of public opinion in China, seeking to further crackdown on those who voice concerns about the draconian lockdown policies. On April 8, the Shanghai office of the Cyberspace Administration of China said it would crack down on rumors posted on social media as speculation and anger mount among residents living in the locked-down city of 25 million, according to the South Morning China Post (SMCP). “Some people are making up, publishing, and spreading rumors related to our measures to contain the outbreak …,...

A Washington Post columnist suggested Monday that the magic solution to rampant inflation and supply chain impediments would be to allow more illegal immigrants into the country. Catherine Rampell wrote a piece titled that “Democrats are missing the bigger immigration issue,” noting that “Democrats are terrified that a coming border surge might tank their midterm chances.” She then went on to suggest that problems will occur not with “too many immigrants” but rather “too few.” Rampell claims, without any evidence or authority, that inflation will start to recede if there are more migrants “who can fill critical labor-market shortages.” She...

A dietary supplement sold over the counter could be toxic and should not be used until it is shown to be safe, biologists have discovered. Sellers of the supplement SAMe, which is short for S-adenosylmethionine, claim it can help joints and liver diseases, and promote emotional well-being. Dr. Jean Michel Fustin says it disrupts the biological clock in the body because it is broken down into adenine and methylthioadenosine—known toxic substances that cause a wide range of other problems, including kidney and liver damage. Dr. Fustin discovered the impact when studying how the biological clock in mice is influenced by...

Rerouting freight to avoid the extended lockdown in Shanghai, where daily confirmed COVID cases topped a record 17,000 this week, is becoming more difficult and expensive as cargo facilities in other Chinese cities become overcrowded, logistics companies and carriers warn. The logistics challenges for ocean and airfreight in Shanghai are extreme. More than 90% of truck capacity is out of service. Trucks are prevented from moving in and out of the city without a special permit, which is only valid for 24 hours and only on specific routes. “Even with this arranged, it is possible for booked trucks to...

ABC 33/40 called a number of law enforcement agencies in Alabama. Each said ghost guns haven't been an issue locally. "I noticed the president made the statement that ghost guns are preferred ways for criminals to get their guns. I don't agree. I think stealing is the preferred way for criminals to get their guns," said Calera Police Chief David Hyche. "We've got bigger problems to worry about. I am not worried about the kind of guns the criminals have, I am worried about the criminals being held accountable and punished foe what they are doing with those guns."

The Russian people know little about Putin’s war on Ukraine because Putin has blocked their access to the truth, substituting propaganda and lies. Years ago, pundits assumed the internet would open a new era of democracy, giving everyone access to the truth. But dictators like Putin and demagogues like Trump have demonstrated how naive that assumption was. At least the US responded to Trump’s lies. Trump had 88 million Twitter followers before Twitter took him off its platform – just two days after the attack on the Capitol, which he provoked, in part, with his tweets. (Trump’s social media accounts...

We Need Truth and JusticeTwo years since “two weeks to slow the spread,” life appears to have returned to some kind of normal. With a few indefensible exceptions, most pandemic mandates have been rolled back. The vaccine passes that cropped up across the western world in a wave of faddish illiberalism have largely been abandoned, at least for now, often with little pretext of an apolitical rationale. Lost in the mainstream media’s memory hole, the strict lockdowns that brought the free world to its knees in 2020 seem to many like a distant memory. All around, artifacts of the psychosis that...

Researchers have uncovered how cancer cells that have spread to the brain (metastasis) are able to resist the effects of radiotherapy. The study reveals a new biomarker detected in a blood test to indicate whether a patient will respond to radiotherapy. The researchers also discovered a specific type of drug, called a RAGE inhibitor, which can enter the brain and reverse the resistance to radiotherapy. Radiotherapy is considered the gold standard treatment for tumors that have spread to the brain from elsewhere in the body, but these tumors are resistant to treatment in many cases. The researchers discovered that one...

‘You have heard that the ancients were told, “You shall not commit murder” and “Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.” But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, “You good-for-nothing,” shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, “You fool,” shall be guilty enough to go into fiery hell’” (Matthew 5:21–22). Throughout history, most decent people rest assured that at least one sin they have not committed is murder. The conventional wisdom limits murder to physically taking another...

In the latest inflationary shock – one which Biden will dutifully read from the teleprompter was entirely the fault of "PutInflation" – even if a chart of CPI in context shows otherwise… … this morning the BLS reported that headline CPI skyrocketed 1.2% (1.24% unrounded) M/M in March as energy surged 11.0% and food prices jumped 1.0% mom for a second consecutive month. The energy price moves reflect the shock from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, while food has yet to feel the impact given lagged pass-through and is likely to remain hot throughout the year. In other words, while much of...

Given Sarsour’s record – supporting antisemite Louis Farrakhan, invoking “Jewish supremacy,” saying Zionists cannot be feminists, and supporting Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, this is an accurate representation of her views. Beyond that, she has publicly praised a misogynist and anti-gay Muslim cleric, Imam Siraj Wahhaj, as her mentor.
