ABC 33/40 called a number of law enforcement agencies in Alabama. Each said ghost guns haven't been an issue locally.
"I noticed the president made the statement that ghost guns are preferred ways for criminals to get their guns. I don't agree. I think stealing is the preferred way for criminals to get their guns," said Calera Police Chief David Hyche. "We've got bigger problems to worry about. I am not worried about the kind of guns the criminals have, I am worried about the criminals being held accountable and punished foe what they are doing with those guns."

Common sense has no place in Biden World.
And this is why that $600 rule was so important to them!
“stealing is the preferred way for criminals to get their guns”
Of course it is.
It never ceases to amaze me how many firearms are stole from vehicles.
Also, brandon condemns “ghost guns” yesterday and this happens today? .....hmmmmm
MSM and government are flat out lying about the number of originally unserialized guns being used in crimes. Flat out lying.
Pro gun folks have to understand that the left will never stop attacking Guns and 2a .
Gunsmiths I know will not take a firearm in that has no serial number unless it was made before 1968.
Because guns are what stops them from disposing of the constitution and instituting a Marxist/fascist government.
Did those Kentucky flintlocks have SNs?
I am guessing that serial numbers on firearms started with mass production and military use.
So serializing means they are weapons of war, in Joe’s vacant mind. Oh, and he wants to ban weapons of war.
Then you need to know some better gunsmiths.
Yes, I think the rule said that the 4472 had to be kept “for at least 20 years” at which time they could be disposed of. Now the proposed rule change says that they must be kept for 20 years THEN you are allowed to put them into digital format or surrender them to the AFT.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote in "The Gulag Archipelago" that in Stalinist Russia the people knew the government was lying to them. The government knew the people knew they were lying to them, and everyone pretended that there was no lying going on. We've almost reached that point in the US. There are still enough people that speak up about the lying that the government can't get away with literal murder like Stalin's government did. We are heading that direction at an alarming rate, IMO.
I have a Sears Winchester Model 37 12 gauge shotgun my grandpa bought in the 50s. Single shot, nice shotgun.......Winchester made them WITHOUT serial numbers at all then.
What they are really after is a campaign trouble-diversion mantra and they’re replacing the ‘gun show loophole’ with ‘ghost guns.’ What they call a ghost gun is typically an 80% lower for an AR-type platform that the buyer has to finish with readily available tools one might typically have in their home workshop.
For me to believe their BS about a major increase in ghost gun crime use they’re gonna have to show close up pictures of where serial numbers should be - UNTOUCHED.
Joe can go eff himself.
In all reality, our FBI should be renamed the Federal Bureau of LIES and the ATF renamed to ALW....Any Lie that Works (to install a Democrat President.)
I know excellent gunsmiths. But that is their personal preference.
“Each said ghost guns haven’t been an issue locally.”
They aren’t an issue anywhere except in Biden’s coconut.
A lot of people were suspicious when the NICs background check was introduced under Clinton, precisely because they figured that data was being captured.
Anyone with an even marginally functional brain knows that is the problem. It’s not the weapon, it’s the culture and tolerance, if not actual encouragement, by State and Federal prosecutors.
Just as importantly, the utter refusal of media and politicians to even begin to address the culture component.
The destruction of the United States is the only agenda in the world of Traitorjoe and the Demonicrat kakistocracy.
