Pacific Gas and Electric Co. announced Monday it has reached two settlements with six Northern California counties to resolve the cases surrounding the 2019 Kincade Fire and the 2021 Dixie Fire. The utility will pay $55 million over five years as part of both settlements. No criminal charges will be filed in the Dixie Fire, and the criminal complaint for the Kincade Fire will be dismissed, the utility said.
