MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes said on Tuesday’s “All In” that the “basis behind” Florida’s Parental Rights in Education, deemed “Don’t Say Gay’ by its opponents, was a “loathsome” age-old smear against members of the LGBTQ community, claiming they are trying to prime children for sexual abuse. Hayes said, “Vague allegations of grooming and age-old smears against members of LGBTQ community are trying to prime children for sexual abuse appears to be the case in Florida, and the basis behind the state’s so-called, ‘Don’t Say Gay Bill,’ which prohibits the discussion in class of sexual orientation or gender identity in classrooms...

Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “All In” that Ivanka Trump, the daughter and senior White House adviser of former President Donald Trump, was “cooperative” during her eight-hour testimony before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol. Raskin said, “Chair Bennie Thompson said afterward that she was a cooperative witness, and in that sense, she exemplifies the vast majority of the people who we have contacted, who’ve come before the committee, who have told exactly in a lot of cases, mostly what they know in other cases. Essentially people are cooperating.”

Earlier today, Army Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the House Armed Services Committee “[Ukraine] is a very protracted conflict.” Milley anticipates many months, if not years, of combat fighting inside Ukraine as Putin carves out the eastern side of the country permanently. According to Milley, “I think it’s at least measured in years… this is a very extended conflict that Russia has initiated. I think NATO, the U.S., Ukraine and all of the allies and partners supporting Ukraine are going to be involved in this for quite some time,” he said. The nature of...

The city of San Diego has catapulted off a cliff in woke climate change stupidity. City officials, without consultation or announcement, redesigned a two-lane road along a stretch of Gold Coast Drive in the Mira Mesa suburb that accommodates two lanes of bike traffic but only one center lane for vehicles. But the road remains a two-way street for vehicular traffic, throwing every ounce of common sense out of the window. The city’s reckless actions have even confused and angered some liberal residents. But it isn’t a one-way road; it’s still a two-way traffic road with a single lane. Vehicles...

New clinical research shows that lamivudine, a reverse transcriptase inhibitor widely used in HIV therapy, stopped disease progression in 25% of patients with fourth-line metastatic colorectal cancer. Findings from the trial raise the possibility of an unexpected promising direction in cancer treatment, not just colorectal cancer. The trial included 32 patients with advanced metastatic colon cancer whose disease progressed despite four lines of previous cancer treatments. The first nine patients received the standard HIV-approved dose of lamivudine. "After giving them only this one drug—nothing else—we saw signs of disease stability," says co-senior author David T. Ting, MD, of the Mass...

A California law mandating corporations set racial, ethnic, and gender identity-based diversity quotas was ruled unconstitutional by a Los Angeles judge. The law, which requires California-based corporate boards have members from an “underrepresented community,” was signed by leftist Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) last year. It also required compliance with at least one member from such a community by December 31, 2021. By December 31, 2022, corporate boards were required to fill a minimum proportion of the seats on the board with “underrepresented community” members based on the size of the board. Conservative legal watchdog Judicial Watch sought a permanent injunction...

The Big Apple mom who crashed Mayor Eric Adams’ press conference Monday to blast him over his tot mask mandate was fired shortly afterward from her job at the city Law Department, The Post has learned. Daniela Jampel, who served as an assistant corporation counsel, learned she was canned less than an hour after she confronted a caught-off-guard and apparently annoyed Adams over when he would “unmask our toddlers.” Jampel had publicly challenged the mayor at an unrelated event on LGBTQ issues — as Adams stood in front of a podium banner that read, “Come to the city where you...

The Nation’s justice correspondent Elie Mystal said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that Republicans who call Ketanji Brown Jackson pro-pedophile were intentionally putting her life in danger. They were discussing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) tweet claiming that Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME) and Mitt Romney (R-UT) were “pro-pedophile,” anchor Joy Reid said, “These terms, indoctrination, grooming, predator, accusing innocent people of being pedophiles to or being soft on pedophiles, it’s all a very specific trigger for a group that is sinking its teeth into our political discourse. Folks like Marjorie Taylor Greene know that. There’s a reason...

This was the most important one of yesterday's news items.. If the Pentagon, which includes the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, could not confirm what the government in Kiev claimed, who else could? Certainly not the European minions who reacted to these dubious claims by removing more Russian embassy personnel from their countries. The U.S. is again pushing the Europeans into suiciding their economies. The U.S. would of course be the only country that would gain from that. Its over. The Ukraine has lost the war. Its navy, air force and defense industry no longer exist. The...

President Biden is not running the White House, Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington said on the Todd Starnes Show Tuesday. “How many times has Joe Biden called Kamala Harris the president?” Harrington told host Todd Starnes. The story took a turn Tuesday at the White House when former President Barack Obama referred to Biden as Vice President.“Thank you, Vice President Biden, Vice President Harris,” said Obama after taking the podium. Archaeologists working on an excavation at Grange Farm, near Gillingham, discovered 15 kilograms of litharge—a material associated with the extraction of silver from other metals. This is the largest amount ever found on a British Roman site and greatly exceeds the amount that archaeologists would normally expect to find on a rural settlement such as that at Grange Farm, suggesting that the refining of silver was taking place on an industrial scale. However, the excavation team did not unearth any signs of the infrastructure that could have supported the size of operation required to produce this amount of material...The team was...

Desperate Vladimir Putin is recruiting a Dad’s Army of old folks to prop up his creaking Ukraine invasion. How to reconstruct the cookery of people who lived thousands of years ago? Bones and plant remains can tell us what kind of ingredients were available. But to reconstruct how ingredients were combined and cooked, scientists need to study ancient cooking vessels.“Fatty molecules and microscopic remains from plants such as starch grains and phytoliths – silica structures deposited in many plant tissues – get embedded into vessels and can survive over long periods,” said Dr Akshyeta Suryanarayan, a reseacher at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, and co-author on a new study in Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution. In the...
