Ukrainian women in second city Kharkiv — just 20 miles from tyrannical Vladimir Putin’s vast invasion force — have been stunned by a salvo of admirers in uniform. Hunky Russian troops called Andrei, Alexander, Gregory, Michail and a bearded Chechen fighter nicknamed “Black” were among dozens whose profiles popped up. And they looked certain to get a rocket from Red Army commanders last night after giving away their position and posting pictures of their uniforms in flirty messages. Dasha Synelnikova’s phone lit up with snaps of dozens of randy Russians when she set her location to Kharkiv on Tinder yesterday....

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said Friday (Feb 25) the alliance was deploying its rapid response force for the first time ever to bolster defences in the face of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "It is still a fluid situation. What we have seen is that the Ukrainian forces are fighting bravely and are actually able to inflict damage on the invading Russian forces," Stoltenberg said after a video summit of NATO leaders. SNIP "Yesterday, allies activated our defence plans and, as a result, we are deploying elements of the NATO Response Force (NRF) on land, at sea, and in the air...

Nearly 40% of the Russian Federation's revenue comes from oil and natural gas production, and because President Joe Biden has strangled U.S. fossil fuel production since he entered office Russia is benefitting from today’s higher fuel prices, said James Taylor, president of the Heartland Institute, during a media call on Thursday. “By having to pay higher energy prices as a cost of doing business, American businesses have been inflicted with a very powerful and unnecessary handicap when trying to compete with businesses in China and elsewhere,” he added. “Now, on a related note and especially in light of what’s been...

Do you remember being ill as a child and being given a soothing bowl of hot chicken soup to help you feel better? Sick or not, most Malaysians would have grown up drinking Grandma’s homemade soup that often would have more bone in it than meat. The recipe would almost always be the same: hot water, bone, vegetables – usually cabbage or carrot – and a variety of herbs and spices, left on the stove to bubble away for hours. Sometimes, it would be kept overnight and reboiled the next day – only to taste so much better! This time-honoured...

Just how confused is the left about Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine? Take a gander... As had been said in the aftermath of 9/11: ' The world has changed.' And much of the left's response? To just keep on living in the pre-02-22-22 world where they'd felt so comfortable in their cocoons. For a lot of them, Russia's 17th century–style conquest of the modern sovereign state of Ukraine goes way beyond their processing capacities. We see statements and stunts like the following from the left as news comes out about Russia's bloody and violent takeover attack. John Kerry was Exhibit...

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili told reporters on Friday his country’s government will not join those of other nations in imposing sanctions on Russia in the wake of its invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, TASS news agency reported. “We have familiarized ourselves with the actions of our international partners following the launch of military action in Ukraine, meaning economic and financial sanctions [against Russia]. I want to make it clear and unambiguous that in light of [our] national interests, Georgia does not intend to participate in financial and economic sanctions,” Garibashvili said on February 25.

The indoor use of face masks is no longer required, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Friday, just before President Biden’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday. Without a change in the science of coronavirus transmission, the CDC lowered the bar and put forth new guidance that places more than half of U.S. counties under low or medium risk of coronavirus, where making up is no longer suggested. “That accounts for roughly 70 percent of Americans,” NBC News reported.

Thursday, February 24, 2022 In 1996, President Clinton signed the Economic Espionage Act (the “Act”). At the time, the principal proponents of the law included business leaders from the then burgeoning Silicon Valley as well as from the aerospace industry. Proponents of the Act claimed foreign entities were actively attempting to steal trade secrets and that the existing laws at the time did not adequately protect their interests. The Act, among other things, criminalized the theft of trade secrets intended to benefit “any foreign government, foreign instrumentality, or foreign agent.” Steep penalties for violations of the Act demonstrated that the...

Explanation: This Navcam mosaic from Perseverance looks out over the car-sized rover's deck, across the floor of Jezero crater on Mars. Frames used to construct the mosaic view were captured on mission sol 354. That corresponds to Earth calendar date February 17, 2022, nearly one Earth year after the rover's landing. With a mass of over 1,000 kilograms, six-wheeled Perseverance is the heaviest rover to touch down on Mars. During its first year of exploration the rover has collected six (so far) rock core samples for later return to planet Earth, served as the base station for Ingenuity, the first...

During the 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden promised to bring “unity” and “respect” back to the presidency. He painted himself as a polar opposite to former President Donald Trump, who frequently criticized his opponents. On his Inauguration Day, the new president told his appointees he would fire them if they failed to embrace the value of respect. “I want to thank your families for their sacrifices, but I’m not joking when I say this: If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you...

During the conversation, Biden warned his Russian counterpart that the West would develop large-scale and unprecedented sanctions in the economic and military spheres should the crisis on the Ukrainian border continue to escalate. In response, Putin pledged to sever relations between Russia and the USA if new restrictive measures are implemented. "Our president immediately responded to this by saying that if the West still decides to introduce the above-mentioned unprecedented sanctions under certain conditions, then all this could lead to the complete termination of relations between our countries. In addition, serious damage will be caused to Russia's relations with the...

Mikki Klann is friends with Lee Dundas, who you’ve seen on this show before. She’s also been encouraging parents to stand up and fight for their kids against the continued torture and abuse of long-term masking forced upon them by demonically-inspired petty tyrants. A change in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance for mask-wearing Friday means federal authorities no longer recommend indoor masking as a COVID-19 precaution for much of Southeastern Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia. Whether that will change masking policy set by the health department in Philadelphia, the only place in the region with an indoor mask mandate, is uncertain. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health said it would review the CDC’s new guidance, but the safety restrictions in place in the city are based on local conditions and “months of data specific to Philadelphia,” said Matt Rankin, a spokesperson...

Russian military forces have not made the kinds of gains they expected in Ukraine and have faced more resistance than anticipated from Ukrainian forces, according to a senior U.S. defense official. After two days of war, Ukrainian command and control is still intact and no population centers have been taken. And Russia has yet to achieve air superiority with Ukraine’s air and missile defense capability still working, though degraded, the defense official told reporters Friday. "The Russians have lost a little bit of their momentum," the defense official told reporters, speaking on background.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Feb. 25 drastically changed a key measure that is used by officials across the country to determine whether or not to require mask-wearing. The federal agency now says nearly three-quarters of Americans don’t need to wear masks because they live in areas with low or medium community risk from COVID-19. The dramatic switch comes because the CDC switched from only using COVID-19 cases as a factor and are taking into account other metrics, including hospitalizations. “This updated approach focuses on directing our prevention efforts toward protecting people at high risk for...

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A federal judge ruled Friday that a Virginia school system illegally discriminated against Asian Americans when it overhauled the admissions policies at an elite public school. The ruling from U.S. District Judge Claude Hilton found that impermissible “racial balancing” was at the core of the plan to overhaul admissions to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, known as “TJ.” The school routinely ranks as the best or one of the best public schools in the country, and slots at the school are highly competitive. In 2020, the Fairfax County School Board significantly revamped the...
