Earlier this year The War Zone exclusively reported about a series of 2019 incidents that involved unidentified drones stalking US Navy vessels over several nights in the waters off of Southern California. Our initial report also covered the Navy’s investigation into the incidents, which appeared to struggle to identify either the aircraft or their operators. Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Michael Gilday later clarified that the aircraft were never identified, and that there have been similar incidents across the service branches and allied militaries. Newly released documents obtained via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) show that the full scope...

I love listening to Fed talking heads (or Fear The Talking Fed). They mostly seem to acknowledge that inflation is a problem and that the excessive monetary stimulus should be reduced. But then I see the chart of The Fed’s balance sheet and The Fed’s reverse repo operations. Then we have Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller saying that Th Fed could start raising interest rates as early as its March 15-16 meeting, after deciding to end asset purchases sooner than planned. My question is … why wait until the March meeting? Is it fear of the Omincron Variant (which sounds...

The Senate during a rare middle-of-the-night session confirmed Rahm Emanuel to be President Biden's ambassador to Japan. Senators voted 48-21 early Saturday morning on Emanuel's nomination. Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Jeff Merkley (D-Ore) voted against his nomination. “Rahm Emanuel has a lifetime of public service preparing him for this role. Japan is an important strategic partner in Asia, particularly in light of our continued challenges from China. I have no doubt Rahm will be a strong voice for America in Japan," Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said after the vote.

Economist Ernst Wolff believes that a hidden alliance of political and corporate leaders is exploiting the pandemic with the aim of crashing national economies and introducing a global digital currency. How is it that more than 190 governments from all over the world ended up dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in almost exactly the same manner, with lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccination cards now being commonplace everywhere? The answer may lie in the Young Global Leaders school, which was established and managed by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum, and that many of today’s prominent political and business leaders passed...

They all held office in the sprawling 21st congressional district, which stretches from Saratoga to the Canadian border. “North Country elected Democrats have a cocaine and crime problem,” upstate GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik, who also serves in the district told The Post.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Friday that, had he known that the awards ceremony in which he gave remarks last weekend was linked to the Communist Party, he would not have attended. He made an appearance at the Connecticut People's World Committee Amistad Awards on Saturday to give three people special recognition certificates from the U.S. Senate. The CPWC is an affiliate of the Communist Party USA and the Marxist People’s World news site. "My understanding was that this ceremony was strictly a labor event," Blumenthal told the Hartford Courant. "If I had known the details, I wouldn’t have gone. …...

The British government is reportedly preparing plans for a two-week “circuit breaker” lockdown before the end of the year amid doomsday predictions from scientific advisors of up to 5,000 deaths per day from the Omicron variant of the Chinese coronavirus. Leaked lockdown proposals would see England return to the restrictions imposed as the “Step 2” plan enacted after the winter shutdown last year. Under the plans, ministers are said to be considering reimposing a ban on indoor mixing, with exceptions carved out for workplaces, according to The Times of London.

Adding that the department will exercise "enforcement discretion with respect to the compliance dates" of the mandate. "To provide employers with sufficient time to come into compliance, OSHA will not issue citations for noncompliance with any requirements of the ETS before January 10," the spokesperson continued. Under these conditions, it remains unclear whether the...

Kiddie criminals in Los Angeles accused of serious crimes are set to get a pass under new rules from District Attorney George Gascon. The emergence of the more contagious, but milder Omicron variant of the covid virus has created a wave of apprehension in covid policy-making circles. Dr. Anthony Fauci lamented "to the untrained person, Omicron is indistinguishable from an ordinary cold. This will greatly complicate our ability to achieve the goal of 100% vaccination. We're already losing credibility with all the breakthrough covid infections we're seeing. Right now, there are fears that the vaccines may be making things worse, but it's the only strategy we have. What dire message can we convey that will encourage the vaccine resisters to take the jab?"...
