LA District Attorney to expand ‘restorative justice’ programs for violent felons
New York Post ^ | December 18, 2021 | Jon Levine

Kiddie criminals in Los Angeles accused of serious crimes are set to get a pass under new rules from District Attorney George Gascon.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney will expand its “restorative justice” diversion programs for youths to include those facing charges like burglary, arson, robber and even sexual battery, among other crimes, according to a leaked memo from the DA’s office.

Diversion programs are a form of pre-trial intervention which allows alleged juveniles to avoid prosecution, conviction — and serious jail time — in favor of more rehabilitative approaches.

The DA’s office launched a pilot for the Restorative Enhanced Diversion for Youth (REDY) program in Nov 2021.

The memo was first reported by Fox News.

“According to this policy, prosecutors in the LA DA office tell me if a juvenile were to follow you home, pull a knife on you, threaten to kill you, then use force to rob you, and they are later arrested, they would be eligible for diversion rather than prosecution.” Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin said in a tweet explaining the implications of the new memo.

A ‘time out’ in a ‘safe space’.

That’ll work.

I thought “restorative justice” related to making crime victims whole (e.g. by paying victims what would otherwise be fines remittedto the state), rather than
simply being lenient.

The victims are capitalist exploiters and racists. They DESERVE to lose their assets and lives and should be happy to make a small sacrifice in favor of the revolution.

All this is intentional. Doesn’t matter what laws are on the books if Soros DAs’ control their enforcement - or lack thereof.

It’s intended to melt down the system and bring on the revolution. Defund the police, empty the jails, and they use the resulting chaos to take complete control.
Exactly what we saw in 2019 to today.

The actual facts of the shooting don’t matter. Guy had a knife and was threatening his baby momma? Doesn’t matter. White cop shoots black guy = oppression and only solution is to burn down the existing order.

If you’re, say, China and want to destroy America, you don’t have to fire a shot. Just fund CRT and the Democrat party and they’ll do it for you.

The Marxist domestic enemies care more for criminals than the citizen which is more proof they are hellbent on destroying the USA and of course the media scarcely pays attention to them.

“According to this policy, prosecutors in the LA DA office tell me if a juvenile were to follow you home, pull a knife on you, threaten to kill you, then use force to rob you, and they are later arrested, they would be eligible for diversion rather than prosecution.” The same thing would apply if said juvenile or an adult for as far as that mattered, and after killing said victim, raped said victim, as a freebie.

And no, the DA would not have blood on their hands when that happens. It is the voters who will have innocent blood on their hands, because they, after knowing what they are elected the DA.

The voters said, via their votes, " We are going to put it to the Man and elect this sorry so and so DA. Well, they elected the sorry so and so DA. So now the voters are entitled to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Like the Biden voters.

Time for Crime Victims and Their Families to seek “Non-Traditional Justice”. They should include the DA and Prosecutors who refuse to do their job when dealing out “Non-Traditional Justice”.

The more you tolerate bad behavior (crime in this case), the more of it you will get — GUARANTEED!

The DA sees all the crime he caused by going easy on felons.

So he doubles-down.

Criminal, in his very behavior.
