Biden administration moves ahead with employee COVID-19 vaccine mandate, as states appeal to the Supreme Court OSHA will hold off on issuing citations for noncompliance until Feb. 9

A Labor Department spokesperson told Fox News on Saturday it was "gratified" by the court's decision to dissolve the blockade.

"OSHA can now once again implement this vital workplace health standard, which will protect the health of workers by mitigating the spread of the unprecedented virus in the workplace," the spokesperson said. Adding that the department will exercise "enforcement discretion with respect to the compliance dates" of the mandate.

"To provide employers with sufficient time to come into compliance, OSHA will not issue citations for noncompliance with any requirements of the ETS before January 10," the spokesperson continued.

OSHA will also hold off on issuing citations for "noncompliance with the standard’s testing requirements before Feb. 9, so long as an employer is exercising reasonable, good faith efforts to come into compliance with the standard."

"OSHA will work closely with the regulated community to provide compliance assistance," the spokesperson added.

Businesses could face repercussions if they fail to enforce the mandates and could see fines as high as $14,000 per violation.

The initial order would have required all companies to implement a vaccine mandate by Jan. 4, 2022.

Remember how we were told it was immoral and wrong to fear people with AIDS, or discriminate against them in any way whatsoever?

Remember the quandary the elites were in, telling us that (a) anyone could get it (not just homosexuals), but that (b) we were wrong to fear those who might carry it?

“Noncompliance” for a “mandate” to participate in phase three clinical trials for experimental mRNA drugs, the trials running into the next years and the experimental drugs manufacturers shielded from legal liabillity suggest something interesting.

Some entity will become legally liable.

If a company of any size “forces” participation in an experiment, aside from the Nuremberg aspect to this, simple local, state and federal civil laws will allow liability to be assigned.

Oh, were I younger and a class action attorney!

Translation: "We will crush those who oppose us."

Can a company terminate all of their employees and rehire them as independent contractors?

I’m fairly confident the SCOTUS will throw this nonsense out. They are not as reliable as they used to be, but this one is pretty clear.

Getting ready for CPAC and demanding that we must vote GOP or else Hillary will win in 2024.

Long after the damage has been done.

“Where is the Republican Party “leadership”?”

You already know the answer: hiding under their desks, wetting themselves in terror of the thought that they might actually have to do something other than “reach across the aisle in the spirit of bipartisanship.”

Yes, but the IRS may have something to say about that. There are certain tests that an independent contractor must face lest they be considered employees anyway.

turning over the stay is the ballgame. First, once implemented, they are unlikely to overturn. Additionally, effectively it won’t matter because companies are already rolling out this policy. Jobs will be lost or people will get the shots, rendering a long-term win meaningless.

I’m not. Judges are fundamentally politicians in black robes. Federal ones are neither elected, nor at all accountable to the peasantry.

Enforce it on OSHA itself!!

1 month ago, I wrote to my 2 US Senators (GOP) and 1 US Rep (flaming left) and asked them directly - what % of OSHA was vaxxed, and if OSHA employee isn’t vaxxed, will he lose his job. 3 responses - not one of them answered the questions.
