Upstate Democratic pols have been caught in a snowstorm — of cocaine.
The three northern New York lawmakers were all been busted in the last two years for possession of the drug — and one defiantly remains in office.
They all held office in the sprawling 21st congressional district, which stretches from Saratoga to the Canadian border.
“North Country elected Democrats have a cocaine and crime problem,” upstate GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik, who also serves in the district told The Post.

COCAINE???? In DEMOKRATS’ hands????
HA! That’s EVERY DAY, in DemoKratland !!!! The party of the kounter kulture!!!!
Naturally, the 99.9% Kommunist press will sweep it under the rug, whereas, if Republicans were busted for this....
I feel cheated.
I went to the original site to see these busts.
Just photos of some ugly guys.
Cocaine and Democrats go together like a horse and carriage...
Or Dan Lasater and Bill Clinton.
Doesn’t McConnell have relatives there?
Northern Democrats: Hm, we might have to scramble here pretty soon, guys. Let’s invest in some drugs so we’ll have something to trade with when we have to flee the angry mobs.
Henchman: Yes, those Canadians are always keen on cocaine! *everyone agrees*
*Northern Democrats go out and buy $2M worth of coke and crack, which they parcel out to worthy loyalists* (this is presented as an amusing montage set to peppy, energetic musick)
*two weeks later*
*loud knocking on door*
He Who Knocks: OPEN UP! IT’S THE POLICE!
Northern Democrats: *waking from a deep slumber* Wha.....?
Never understood the getting high or drunk mindset.
s/b, "Upstate NY plagued by Democratic politicians".
No wonder we have open borders now cartels much happy and rich.
The Indian reservation is right on the border and has long been a massive trafficing route for drugs and illegal aliens coming in from Canada. It’s not surprising some local pols are taking their cut of the proceeds.
I have a friend that was an enforcer in the Kentucky Mafia. I forgot what he said the group called itself.
He said he was in a number of meetings where his boss was in discussions with Mitch about cocaine and who was moving how much product. He also said he witnessed cash being given to Mitch during these conversations.
I found it hard to believe at first but looked up some of the names of players and victims in his stories and all have proved out so far.
For many, I think it’s a Coping mechanism for people who give up trying to cope without mind altering drugs. Easier to go through life wasted and not caring deeply anymore than it is to wake up each day ready for the battles that lie ahead.
Others just do it for the high, or for the “peaceful easy feeling” it brings temporarily. That feeling is the addiction, the drug is the conduit that makes it happen. (But they too can be addicting, or cause dependency- something different than addiction)
Still others do it just to fit in, loosen up, make them more bold and sociable.
Others Do it for the “liquid courage”, or, “chemical courage” it brings, for whatever reason, some for criminal reasons.
Lots of reasons really, or rather lots of excuses
I thjnk we would zll, all, shocked just how thoroughly corrupt and criminal some of our “leaders” really are. All,the “open secrets” that are covered up by the corrupt media
Pretty expensive “remedy” if one considers the headaches, nausea, addiction, costs, etc....
Very True. I worked with a fella that was a total drunk, but only after work. Every night after work, he was plastered, I’m not even sure how he managed to go 8 hours without drinking, but he did. Guess he figured he had to in order to keep his job to keep the booze flowing. By 9 pm you couldn’t talk him- it was useless even trying. This was every evening. He’d pass out, the come to, get gimself ready for work, znd it,was like he never even got plastered the night before. I don’t know how he did it. Another fella, woild drink on the job, and folks woild, cover for him. The boss knew he was a drunk, but didn’t do anything. When he did work, he did good work. But many times he woild be passed out in the laundry room or,
wherever he felt safe, lol. It went on for years.i don’t ever recall him being hung over, as he was perpetually drunk I guess.
Theymdid a documentary where they followed a drunk around the slums, watched as he stole stuff to get enough $$ for booze, food, cigar etc. Many nights he’d make it,out,to an alley where he’d pass out, even during the rain. Folks watched the show, and money poured in to try to help him. He “tried” for a little while with his new found wealth, but soon he ran away znd right back into the dame lousy lifestyle. He’s probably dead today. He flat out out rejected any more money znd fame, said he couldn’t rake the stress.
It’s a wicked taskmaster drugs and booze.
“Bitch set me up!”
You'd never know she had it all from seeing her pictures now.
People have tried to help her but to no avail.
Yeah it’s sad what it does to folks. Lots of actors fall by the wayside because of addiction. Child actors as they grow with wealth get Into it, and burn out before they are 30 or so, some dying from overdoses. They have the world at theri fingertips, but throw it all away for drugs and booze.
I think of Tommy Morrison, a great great boxer, fame hit him ,ike a ton of bricks, he got into drugs, prostitutes, and died they say from aids. Saw him shortly before he died, he looked a total mess, sounded horrible. A shell,of,his former self. He had the world hznded to him on a platter. I beleive he might have been lowerful, powerful, in his prime to best. Mike Tyson in his prime, but not sure, he was one tough boxer with a wicked punch though. Whe I saw him on tv before he died, I was just shocked.
