A Canadian molecular biologist on Wednesday told cross-party members of Parliament (MPs) on the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee that a leak from a laboratory in Wuhan region of China is now the “more likely” origin of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Dr Alina Chan, specialising in gene therapy and cell engineering and co-author of ‘Viral: The Search for the Origin of COVID-19', told the Parliament panel's evidence session on scientific research that the pandemic was being caused by the unique feature of the coronavirus called “furin cleavage site”, which has been linked to the Wuhan Institute of Virology....

With the price of gas hitting $7 a gallon and a package of Oscar Meyer bacon hitting $9.59 out in California, you can bet inflation is on consumers' minds, and 80% of them know who did it.Big government spending, the kind that requires the Fed to print more money than the economy can handle, is behind it. The U.S. has passed a helluva lot of gargantuan trillion-plus-dollar spending bills for things such as COVID relief, "infrastructure," bailouts of favored industries, stimulus payouts, and more in the last few years and the economy is still struggling to digest it.Inflation, according to...

Non-citizens' voting rights in municipal elections raise questions about how the city will stop them from voting for federal and state officials. The New York City Council debated and then passed a law last week granting non-citizens the right to vote in municipal elections. New York’s constitution states that the right of citizens to vote is guaranteed, “provided that such citizen is eighteen years of age” and has been in residence in the Empire State for 30 days. It is to be hoped that the courts will rule the New York City law unconstitutional, but that can’t be taken for...

A former senior FBI lawyer who falsified a surveillance document in the Trump-Russia investigation has been restored as a member in "good standing" by the District of Columbia Bar Association even though he has yet to finish serving out his probation as a convicted felon, according to disciplinary records obtained by RealClearInvestigations. The move is the latest in a series of exceptions the bar has made for Kevin Clinesmith, who pleaded guilty in August 2020 to doctoring an email used to justify a surveillance warrant targeting former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Clinesmith was sentenced to 12 months probation last...

THIRD WEEK OF ADVENT LUKE 7:24-30 Friends, in today’s Gospel, once again the fiery and frightening character of John the Baptist bursts on the scene as the forerunner of Jesus. The opening line is important. Jesus asks the crowds, “What did you go out to the desert to see?” The desert is a place of simplicity and poverty, a place where illusions die, where reality is faced honestly and without compromise. The Bible frequently employs the desert as the setting for the discovery of bold and simple truths. Advent is, for us, a desert time. It brings us back to...

South Korea is limiting gatherings to four people amid a surge in COVID-19 cases. Health Minister Kwon Deok-cheol announced Thursday that for at least the next 16 days, gatherings of five or more are banned, even among the fully vaccinated, The Associated Press reported. If a person isn’t fully vaccinated, they are not permitted to gather with others and would have to eat alone at restaurants. The gathering limits don't apply to those younger than 18.

The Biden administration is ignoring natural immunity and therapeutic medicines in its campaign to force all Americans to receive coronavirus vaccines, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) said on Wednesday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow. The Biden administration and Democrat Party seek to impose a one-size-fits-all universal vaccination mandate, Scalise observed. Such an approach, he added, ignores the millions of Americans possessing natural immunity yielded through their recovery from COVID-19. Scalise remarked, “One of the big failures of the Biden administration is that they’ve only been focused on vaccinations, but they don’t want to do anything...

President Biden says he is "losing patience with the media." White House underlings have been engaged in closed-door meetings with major media outlets "to correct the negative impression being created by media reports on prices, crime, and other issues." Press Secretary Jen Psaki complained that "we thought these guys were on our side. Why do they have to report so much bad news? Take the issue of rising prices. The President hasn't raised the price on a single piece of merchandise. Every price hike has been made by the vendors. As the President has pointed out on several occasions, it...
  • Elon Musk video gets conservative comedian dumped by YouTube

Conservative comedian Steven Crowder has been suspended by YouTube over a video on Elon Musk, which the platform claims contained content “glorifying or inciting violence.” Crowder announced the suspension of his ‘Louder with Crowder’ show on Wednesday and recommended viewers instead watch his show on Rumble, a streaming platform that has become popular with conservative pundits. This is not Crowder’s first suspension. In its message to the comedian, which Crowder posted on Twitter, YouTube claims that his Musk video “violates our hate speech policy.” The message goes on to say the decision was made to keep YouTube a “safe place.”...

Several top Nike executives funneled more than $60,000 to the re-election campaign of Democratic Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden over the course of just 16 days in September. On Wednesday evening, Wyden blocked the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act which the House passed unanimously Tuesday and the Senate was expected to overwhelmingly approve. President Joe Biden vowed to sign the bill once passed by both chambers and work with Congress to “ensure global supply chains are free of forced labor,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement. Nike, a major benefactor of Wyden, was one of several corporations...

Transcript of Riccardo Bosi's warning ["No consent. No consent. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.Q describes this awakening as follows: "The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding 'mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and...

MADISON, Wis.– It’s not just you: the price of everything from clothes and cars to gas and groceries is up. According to the Department of Labor, prices have increased 6.8% from 2020. That’s the highest rate of inflation in nearly 40 years. Some of the most noticeable impacts are at the grocery store, where it’s getting harder to not only find some products but also reasonable prices. The average family is spending an extra $30 per month on groceries compared to November 2020. RELATED: Two years ago, the average household paid $113/week for groceries. Today, they’re paying $144. “The only...

HARRISON, AR—It was a somber day for white-hooded members of the Ku Klux Klan as they received news that their organization was disbanding, since the progressive Left was accomplishing all of their goals with unparalleled effectiveness. “Welp, I guess it’s both good news and bad news,” said current CEO of the KKK, Bob U. Genics while overseeing Klan members turning in their robes and pointed hats. “Them Lefties cornered the racism market for sure, and look at how they undermined minority communities through low school standards, drug legalization, and rampant decriminalization. Impressive.” The head of the now-dissolved KKK reassured the...

Two real estate sites, Realtor.com and Redfin, have decided not to include crime data in their websites because of racism or something… The idiots at Realtor.com explained it this way: As a relative newcomer to the real estate industry, I’ve been struck by how entrenched this problem is. Stories abound about Black, Hispanic and Asian homebuyers receiving unequal treatment, starting with their ability to see whatever homes they like, and continuing through to the appraisal and mortgage processes. At virtually every step of the way, too often people of color find hurdles in their path, making it difficult to turn...

This news came as Senator Manchin continued to show his hesitation in supporting the economically suicidal legislation. Instead, they are going to again focus on their national election bill – HR1. This is a complete communist takeover of America’s election system.

The highway was closed Dec. 12 in support of a Monterey County evacuation warning.
