A man being described as a serial rapist has been charged with 14 counts, including attempted murder, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday. Jose Manuel Garcia, 36, was charged with physically and/or sexually assaulting six women in the Coachella Valley area from September 2020 to August 2021, officials said. In a one-page decision issued Friday afternoon, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that an order that has kept the state’s schoolchildren masked for months must be voided.
