A forthcoming sale of Nazi-related items by a Queensland, Australia auction house is being denounced by Jewish groups. Twenty-two pieces of Nazi memorabilia will be listed by Danielle Elizabeth Auctions, including an Ordnungspolizei (“order police”) uniform containing the SS symbol that is expected to sell for up to $1,500, sleeves embroidered with eagles and swastikas and swastika and skull pins from Waffen-SS hats. The state of Oregon will no longer require its students to demonstrate proficiency in math, reading and writing in order to earn a high school diploma in a bid to bolster minority students. Gov. Kate Brown signed a bill late last month suspending the state's 'essential skills' requirement for graduation for the next three years while its Department of Education seeks alternative graduation requirements. The bill extended a suspension of the requirements that was put in place during the coronavirus pandemic. Proponents of the measure have said the state's proficiency specifications hurt disadvantaged students, while opponents say suspending them lowers...

Democrats show every sign of believing that their majority in the House of Representatives will vanish after the 2022 midterms. The latest indicator also helps make that assessment come true.Rep. Ron Kind, a 12-term Democrat Congressman representing Western Wisconsin’s Third District has announced his retirement. According to Just The News, which broke the story:"The truth is I've run out of gas," Kind told reporters in La Crosse. The congressman is being euphemistic. It’s no fun being on the House minority, and when members of the majority party sense a turnover, large numbers of them typically retire. Because incumbents tend to get...

One of the few things that libertarians get right is that the foundation of Western civilization is private property. They claim this is a universal reality, which is clearly incorrect, but it is true with regards to Western civilization. The assumption that a man owns the produce of his labor is the main difference between Europeans and the other people of the world. It forms the foundation of law and the logic of political organization, in addition to being the bedrock of Western economic systems. What libertarians get wrong is that you can create a society where government only protects private...

Dr. Robert Malone urges public health officials to "check [their] egos at the door" and change their policies with the science regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday that new mutant variants of COVID-19 "are able to bypass, to a significant extent, the protection afforded by the current vaccines." "What we had been told, that these vaccines are protective, they're going to protect us, they're going to prevent us from getting infected, they're going to prevent us from having virus replicate in our bodies, and they're going to prevent us from infecting other people, those are not...

On July 26, 2021 residents of Front Royal, Winchester, and the broader Shenandoah Valley region appeared at the Front Royal Town Council meeting to express their outrage at Valley Health, which has a “monopoly” over the region’s hospitals and urgent care facilities, mandating the experimental coronavirus vaccine for employees.Residents of the area, which has a heavily Catholic and conservative population – and is where LifeSite’s U.S. office is located – have warned that Valley Health may find itself severely understaffed if it fires all employees who refuse the dangerous injection. https://banned.video/watch?id=6113c9a8f2f80b463ffb747c

Ivermectin Wins in IndiaNews of India's defeat of the Delta variant should be common knowledge. It is just about as obvious as the nose on one's face. It is so clear when one looks at the graphs that no one can deny it.Yet, for some reason, we are not allowed to talk about it. Thus, for example, Wikipedia cannot mention the peer-reviewed meta-analyses by Dr. Tess Lawrie or Dr. Pierre Kory published in the American Journal of Therapeutics. https://www.thedesertreview.com/opinion/columnists/wikipedia-and-a-pint-of-gin/article_22ffa0d8-dde9-11eb-be75-d7b0b1f2ff67.htmlWikipedia is not allowed to publish the recent meta-analysis on Ivermectin authored by Dr. Andrew Hill. Furthermore, it is not allowed to...

With the passage of time it becomes more and more clear what things are affected by COVID 19 and what things are not. Among the events which spread COVID 19 include church services, school classes, Trump rallies and Sturgis. Things that don't spread COVID 19 are wherever Nancy Pelosi is, BLM protests, illegal aliens, democrat wedding receptions (especially when Muriel Bowser is there), Lollapalooza in Chicago, Pelosi's hair salon, AOC taking her mask off for a photo shoot, Rashida Tlaib dancing without a mask, the French Laundry restaurant (When Gavin Newsom is there, anyway) and Obama's 3 day birthday party....

[Catholic Caucus] Traditionis Custodes: Schneider Contradicts ZenTraditionis custodes is not only about regulating the Roman Mass but wants it to disappear, Cardinal Joseph Zen said in an online discussion (here and below, August 9).However, Zen doubts that Francis is “fully aware” of this, and blames “the [famous] people around him.” He believes that the initiative for TC came from the "Roman Curia," especially Cardinal Parolin. Zen would like to ask Francis what he thinks about this “big attack” on the Mass.Bishop Schneider replied to Zen in the same conference that this is a document of Francis and it is published...

A New York Times story about the "rift" between Facebook and the Biden administration regarding COVID-19 "misinformation" illustrates the fuzziness of that category and the perils of suppressing it at the government's behest. While administration officials often claim they are just encouraging the social media platform to enforce its own rules, their idea of misinformation is not necessarily the same as Facebook's, and that cleavage shows that the government is imposing online censorship by proxy, pushing to expand the definition of intolerable speech. "We've engaged with Facebook since the transition on this issue," White House spokesman Mike Gwin tells the...

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney is expected to address vaccination requirements for municipal employees during a weekly COVID-19 press briefing Wednesday. The press conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. Discussions regarding a possible city employee vaccine policy have been going on with “stakeholders” this week. The incoming decision has labor unions split. The Philadelphia Fire Fighters and Paramedics Union will not comply with a COVID-19 vaccine mandate. President Michael Bresnan says the union expects the City of Philadelphia to bargain about any mandates “now and in the future.” “We will not tolerate any of our members being disciplined in any manner...

A new study found that the most educated are the least likely to get jabbedThe percentage of each education group that is somewhat vaccine hesitant. Source: Carnegie Mellon UniversityThere has been much debate over how to get the unvaccinated to get their jabs — shame them, bribe them persuade them, or treat them as victims of mis- and disinformation campaigns — but who, exactly, are these people? Most of the coverage would have you believe that the surge in cases is primarily down to less educated, ‘brainwashed’ Trump supporters who don’t want to take the vaccine. This may be partially true:...

Alpha particle bombarded cancer tissue: a generator holds uranium-230 to produce thorium-226; further decay to short-lived daughters emits four more alpha particles resulting in a very high combined radiation dose delivered to cancer cells. Credit: Image courtesy of Joshua Smith, Los Alamos National Laboratory ============================================================================= The Science Scientists have developed a new system for producing radioactive isotopes, or “radioisotopes” for cancer therapy. The system uses a simple radionuclide generator to repeatedly separate thorium-226 from its longer-lived parent isotope, uranium-230. Both of these isotopes emit radioactive alpha particles. This makes them candidates for use in targeted alpha therapy agents. These are...

The same person who invented the muffler for the automobile invented them for guns. Hiram Maxim, the inventor, called them “Silencers”. An obvious reason they were not invented earlier is the inside of a gun muffler is more complex than a gun barrel. Early silencer designs were made of mild steel, making them subject to corrosion. A silencer for a gun using black powder would require a significant effort to clean after each use. Smokeless/non-corrosive gunpowder did not become common until about 1900. At that point, gun mufflers became more practical. Increasing prosperity in society, brought about by technical innovation...
