Mike Lindell is Extremely Online, but not online enough. Otherwise, he would have seen the video of Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) getting duped by a guy in all-American-flag ensemble (“People think you’re a pedophile, I don’t think you’re a pedophile at all”), and run away from a supposed admirer. He did not do this. The MyPillow founder, who recently predicted that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will resign the presidency after seeing his evidence of… something, was conducting an interview (possibly with Brannon Howse) in public when he was approached by a supporter. “I love you,...

The COVID-19 delta variant is stimulating discussions across the United States over revisiting pandemic mitigation measures like lockdowns and mask mandates, but in Pennsylvania, some lawmakers aim to keep masks off school children no matter what new mandates may be imposed. “If a kid wants to wear a mask, let them. If not, they shouldn’t have to,” State Rep. Barry Jozwiak told The Epoch Times. “It should be a parent’s choice or a student’s choice.” Children are not at high risk of getting or spreading COVID-19, he reasoned. Jozwiak has the support of 22 cosponsors for his anti-masking legislation, HB...

EIGHTEENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MATTHEW 14:22-36 Friends, our Gospel today is the story of Jesus walking on the water. Water is, throughout the Scriptures, a symbol of danger. At the very beginning, the Spirit of the Lord hovered over the surface of the waters. This signals God’s lordship over all of the powers of disorder. The boat, with Peter and the other disciples, is evocative of the Church. It moves through the waters, as the Church will move through time. Storms—chaos, corruption, stupidity, danger, persecution—will inevitably arise. Now, during the fourth watch of the night, which is to say...

There aren't many figures in modern American life more contemptible than Randi Weingarten, political hack, union boss, and anti-child zealot. Her cynical agitation and endless fear-mongering deliberately cause active harm to be inflicted upon millions of American children who were denied in-person classroom instruction last year. The teachers unions, bureaucrats, and elected officials who fought to keep classrooms closed did so while ignoring overwhelming data and callously turning a blind eye to the myriad disastrous ramifications of their failed 'remote' learning regime. We know, for instance, that Weingarten's special interest group lobbied behind the scenes in order to shape the...

President Biden lashed out at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy for pointing out that his Administration’s new mask guidelines contradict his assertion from two months ago that “if you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.” “At the time that was the truth,” Biden insisted. “But when conditions change, the truth also changes. The experts’ view was that by posing the choice of either getting the shot and be free to live normally or refusing to get the shot and have to abide by other restrictions that vaccine hesitancy would subside. That didn’t happen. False reports...

The United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) for football lost to Canada 1-0 at the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympics. It was a shock defeat as the US team were the overwhelming favourites to win. USA will now face off against Australia for the Bronze Medal match on Thursday. While people ordinarily cheer for their national team and athletes from their nation to win in the Olympics, it was an odd situation for the USWNT as significant sections of Americans were hoping they would lose. According to them, the team had embraced ‘woke’ ideology and therefore, deserved to lose. Following...
