About a year ago, Tucker Carlson, the Daily Caller’s top editor, joined famed conspiratorialist Alex Jones for a discussion about American society and politics. In an exchange that attracted some attention on the Internet, Jones spun one of his classic theories about how the country is changing: The Democrats went from being the Ku Klux Klan party of race, with Sen. Byrd and all them, to literally going, ‘OK, we’re going to go race-politic with the minorities, make them the majority.’ And so basically they went from financing…La Raza, all the Ford Foundation. And that’s why you have this new...

In Kurt Schlichter’s column today he wonders Who the Hell Is in Charge? That day is now, and it’s no laughing matterHe concludes only that it isn’t the withered old fossil currently residing in the White House with Dr. Jill.Behold the old man that 80 million Americans were theoretically foolish enough to vote forLast week President * went out for ice cream again, and the media was on it, quizzing him on what flavor he selected, the kind of cone, whether it was yummy. It seemed to be yummy, according to the flashcards that he uses to help him survive...

On this date in 1938, Anthony Chebatoris was hanged at the federal prison in Milan, Michigan, becoming the only person executed in Michigan since it gained statehood in 1837. Chebatoris and an accomplice, Jack Gracy, rolled into Midland, Michigan on September 29, 1937, with the intention to rob the Chemical State Bank. They never did get their hands on the cash, and only one of them would leave the town alive, though with a proverbial noose dangling from his neck. The two men, armed with a pistol and a sawed-off shotgun, entered the bank and approached the bank manager, Clarence...

As biological males who identify as transgender women or nonbinary are being transferred upon request to female prisons in California, biologically female inmates have been assaulted by these new transfers, says Lauren Adams, Legal Counsel for the Women's Liberation Front (WoLF). Following a California law that went into effect on Jan. 1 allowing inmates to use their claimed gender identity to determine whether they are incarcerated in men's or women's facilities, there have been 261 prison transfer applications. All but six were to be transferred to women's prisons, Fox News reported. At least 26 men have been transferred, but it...

It is easy to remember why the United States invaded Afghanistan. Our country had just been attacked by terrorists based there. The nation was united in a desire to protect itself from further attacks and bring the parties responsible to justice. It's not so easy to remember whether the justification for the invasion was based on a broader policy, whether there was discussion at the time of what would constitute victory, or whether the invasion was an actual war in the traditional sense. More to the point, it's unclear whether those questions have answers today, even as we exit Afghanistan....

With zero media attention and an 80-0 vote, the California Assembly has approved a plan to facilitate a reduction in federal income taxes for a constituency consisting mostly of wealthy Californians. Only Californians with income from non-employee business activities operating through partnerships, LLCs and subchapter S corporations will benefit from Assembly Bill 150. Individuals who earn their livings as employees will garner no benefit from AB 150. Individuals who operate their businesses through sole proprietorships or as single member LLCs will also be excluded from any benefit. While California cannot seem to grapple successfully with homelessness, COVID, water, power etc.,...

I voted for Donald Trump twice, but that has nothing to do with my hesitancy to get the vaccine. I'm a Christian, and that has nothing to do with it, either. Even the fact that I had COVID and should be immune doesn't matter to me. My reason is based on science and science alone. It's still an experimental vaccine; it doesn't have FDA approval; and although mRNA vaccines have been studied for years, they were not used before. My biggest fear of the vaccine is that I can't get any information about why mRNA vaccines were not used before...

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, declared Wednesday on CNN’s “OutFront” that former President Donald Trump was “dangerous.” Schiff argued it was because Trump is perfectly fine with endangering the life of the Capitol Police officer who allegedly shot Ashli Babbit on January 6. Burnett said, “So I just played a moment ago. I don’t know if you heard it as you were hooking up, congressman, but what the former president said today about Ashli Babbitt. Obviously, what he says about the guns is incorrect, but this is not new. He keeps talking about this even...

Thanks to a series of leaks from the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop computer, we know there is more than enough evidence to appoint a special counsel, or at least convene a grand jury to investigate bribery, tax fraud, and probably several other categories of crime involving the Biden Crime Family. Three recent articles by highly respected reporters Miranda Devine (who has a book on the subject about to come out and whose work informs the other two writers), Byron York, and Emily Jashinsky present evidence typed in Hunter’s own hand of the schemes whereby Hunter acted as...

Surely you have already heard the siren call of the ice cream truck as it makes its rounds this summer. Over and over it plays its slightly out-of-tune glockenspiel (?) song, calling children and adults out of their overheating apartments to purchase a treat that will spark their imagination, remind them of the fleeting nature of pleasure, and imbue them with a caloric and spiritual strength that they do not deserve but so desperately need. Its song is a Pavlovian haunting, a call to frivolous vice, a reminder of a childhood to which we can never return. Will you resist...

The nation’s largest teachers’ union has quietly taken down a series of adopted and proposed resolutions from its website, including one that calls for the organization to defend the teaching of Marxism-rooted critical race theory (CRT) in public schools. The National Education Association (NEA), which represents more than 3 million employees in public education, previously showed on its website resolutions proposed during its 100th Representative Assembly. As of the morning of July 6, three days after the online convention concluded, visitors could use the website to track the status of those proposals, including whether they were approved, denied, or referred...

President Joe Biden was greeted by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) on Wednesday when he arrived for a speaking appointment at an Illinois community college. The city’s rampant gun violence however was not on the public agenda, with Biden instead choosing to talk about “human infrastructure” and his American Families Plan. AP reports the president set out for the Chicago suburbs to bolster support for both his bipartisan infrastructure deal and a broader package he expects will be passed with only Democratic votes.

James K. Kallstrom, an FBI agent who became a familiar presence on the nightly news as chief of the criminal investigation into the crash of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island in 1996, a confounding disaster first suspected to be an act of terrorism but ultimately attributed to a fuel tank explosion, died July 3 at his home in Fairfield, Conn. An astonishing 83 per cent of Britons have said that if wearing a mask in public were a “personal choice”, they would do so, after another recent poll revealed that despite the mask mandate possibly coming to an end this month, the majority back it staying in place and even feel unsafe without them. The YouGov poll from Tuesday found that a combined 83 per cent said they would wear a mask if it were a personal choice today. Four in ten said they would wear them only indoors, with 30 per cent saying they would only wear them inside...

Did Paul Pelosi, the financier husband of House Speaker Nancy, profit off of insider Beltway scuttlebutt in June to make about $5 million on options contracts tied to Alphabet’s stock? Late on Wednesday evening, Bloomberg News published a report titled “Pelosi’s Husband Locked In $5.3 Million From Alphabet Options,” which carried the subheadlines, “Action was week before House panel considered antitrust bills,” and “Antitrust bills target Alphabet’s Google, Apple, Amazon.” The Bloomberg report followed a Fox Business News piece looking at Pelosi’s June trades, which were laid out in a July 2 disclosure form. Both stories raise a connection between...
