At the start of May, when observing the avalanche of “higher inflation” mentions on Q1 earnings calls, which had quadrupled YoY; and jumped by a record 800% YoY…… BofA chief equity strategist Savita Subramanian summarized the current state of affairs as follows: “On an absolute basis, [inflation] mentions skyrocketed to near record highs from 2011, pointing to at the very least, “transitory” hyper-inflation ahead.”Needless to say, a “serious” bank warning of hyperinflation – transitory or otherwise – was enough to spark very serious concerns that the Fed was losing control of prices, a panic which only grew after Deutsche Bank...

t’s the purrrfect apartment. The Post got an exclusive look inside Curtis Sliwa’s tiny Upper West Side studio apartment Wednesday — after the newly minted GOP mayoral nominee revealed that he and his wife share the space with 15 rescue cats. The 320-square-foot studio on West 87th Street and Central Park West is a veritable kitty heaven with furnishings more fit for felines than their human roommates. There’s three windows that face the street that are perfectly set up for bird watching, or an afternoon snooze in the sunshine, that have been retrofitted with chicken wire so the cats can...

Pennsylvania police claim they were called to a Home Depot on a report of “disorderly people having an exorcism” in the lumber aisle. The exorcism was for the dead trees and the would-be wood exorcists were escorted out of the building, according to a now-viral post from the Dickson City Police Department. The incident was described in only 27 words, part of a long list of the small-town department’s daily log of calls – but the post has drawn attention due its bizarre quality and had been shared more than 550 times as of Thursday.

Microsoft took the shrink wrap off Windows 11 today, debuting a refreshed interface, support for Android apps, and deep integration of Microsoft Teams. But beneath all of the GUI goodies and swish superficial changes are a stricter set of system requirements. ....... It is only possible to install Windows 11 on hardware that is UEFI, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0 — and its the 2.0 that’s important — enabled. This killer combo of hardware requirements excludes swathes of computers made more than 5 or 6 years ago, including some of Microsoft’s own.

My son-in-law is in the 82nd Airborne Division and living on base at Ft. Bragg. He lives in a property with my daughter and grandson that is managed by Corvias Property Management. My grandson has been ill since their moving to Bragg last year. (It was an entirely different problem for them to get there during the Plandemic.)The property has been tested for lead (Pb) and those tests are positive. I highly doubt that is the source of my grandson's continued illness. There is also a mold problem, which would explain a lot. Mold is in the crawl space beneath...

The fragments of a skull and a lower jaw with teeth were about 130,000 years old and could force a rethinkof parts of the human family tree, the researchers from Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem said. Nesher Ramla Homo - named after the place southeast of Tel Aviv where it was found - may have lived alongside our species, Homo sapiens, for...

The Trump Organization is expected to be hit with criminal charges as soon as next week by Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance’s office in a case that Trump attorneys say is tied to tax-related conduct, multiple people familiar with the matter tell NBC News. “It looks like they are going to come down with charges against the company, and that is completely outrageous,” Ron Fischetti, an attorney for the Trumps, said after the development was first reported by The New York Times. "I’ve been practicing for over 50 years, and I’ve never seen a case like this." Danny Frost, a...

We’re such a civilized nation. All the talk of hanging is just that… TALK. Real political culprits go free and write books between their next political crimes. And when the law agency goes after the 76 year old man, Roger Stone, they break his door down in the night and there is a fleet of FBI scuba divers at the back of his house in case he tries to swim for it. Bubba, somebody or other, from NASCAR reports a possible hate crime and 12 FBI agents show up. So real political crime is rampant, obvious and ignored by the...

President Joe Biden on Thursday blamed vaccine hesitancy among black Americans on the past experimentation by the U.S. government on the Tuskegee Airman, conflating the famed World War II pilots with the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. “The reason why it’s been harder to get African Americans, initially, to get vaccinated because they are used to being experimented on — the Tuskegee Airmen and others,” Biden said. While originating in Tuskegee, Alabama, the Tuskegee Airman are famous for being the first group of African American fighter pilots to serve in the U.S. Army Air Corps. First trained at the Tuskegee Army Air...

But they also inspire a new generation of space enthusiasts: Many rover team members can cite a favorite image that sparked their interest in NASA. "I got into this because I saw a picture from Sojourner, NASA's...

There were curious characteristics about the H1N1 influenza pandemic of 1977-78, which emerged from northeastern Asia and killed an estimated 700,000 people around the world. For one, it almost exclusively affected people in their mid-20s or younger. Scientists discovered another oddity that could explain the first: It was virtually identical to a strain that circulated in the 1950s. People born before that had immunity that protected them, and younger people didn’t.But how on earth had it remained so steady genetically, since viruses continually mutate? Scientists guessed that it had been frozen in a lab. It was often found to be...
