We’re such a civilized nation. All the talk of hanging is just that… TALK. Real political culprits go free and write books between their next political crimes. And when the law agency goes after the 76 year old man, Roger Stone, they break his door down in the night and there is a fleet of FBI scuba divers at the back of his house in case he tries to swim for it. Bubba, somebody or other, from NASCAR reports a possible hate crime and 12 FBI agents show up. So real political crime is rampant, obvious and ignored by the media and DOJ to the point where Durham will have died of old age before his report is released and nobody will ever look into Hunter Biden’s laptop.
So where are the hangings? A one point in history this injustice would not be tolerated and, in fact, there was a Civil War. I don’t think we can ever have a Civil War these days because nobody wants to enlist and face violence when the Constitution is threatened or there is flagrant injustice. Why fight for America? Isn’t it an unjust, racist nation? Maybe the best people are thinking, “Don’t get me involved… but if they take my house and car… I’m in!” The government will never take somebody’s car. If anything, they’ll be giving electric cars away like giving away cell phones. The corrupt government will be buying votes, so it will be handout season.
But where is justice and where are the hangings? Are those days gone? As a civilized nation we abhor violence and almost never think it is justified. And yet the nation is going down the crapper. And, at some point, people might call for public hangings again. I don’t know if people have the stomach for violence and at what cost would they actually think that it is the solution. In other words, what means that much to people that they’ll see public hangings and put maybe their lives and family at risk? At what point would they condone, support and engage in violence? Things have to go pretty far for that. So far the call for hangings is meaningless talk… though it gives people a way of venting their frustration as with sports and television.

Some folks could barely watch a frog being dissected back in Science class. The average person does not want to stand and watch what really happens during a hanging.
Most of us are greatly underexposed to someone ‘being made dead’, except in movies or video games.
I’ve heard of people becoming traumatized when they accidently hit and kill a jackrabbit. Not something they are used to.

As Free Republic’s biggest advocate of capital punishment, I think you are conflating two things: violent rage and demands for retributive justice.
If the public ever accepts (not learn, because they should have learned by now), what the elite has planned for them and decides to do something about it, mere semi-orderly hangings will not take place.
The elite will have to be taken into custody for their own protection and to protect the few relative who might actually be innocent.
I don’t think there will ever be true public executions— too hard to provide security for them. Raffled off spots to view controlled semi-public executions, that’s a possibility.
And this would come after televised trials, which hopefully will be more popular than anything else on tv.
The wooden “Sic Semper Tyrannis” signs to be placed at the foot of each scaffold are still in final production. Be patient. :)
It’s amazing what law enforcement ignores and what gets their attention. Like the guy vaping in Florida last week. There were about 25 cops standing around him, he was completely encircled as they tased and hogtied him and put him in a cage.
Yet these people in D.C. got caught red handed with documentary evidence against revealing them attempting to criminally compromise, undermine and overthrow a candidate, then President of the United States, and nothing, zip....No one goes to jail, no one get prosecuted no one is even charged.
They could make a safe space under the gallows.

There is little justice any more. The dems have turned “law enforcement” into an armed extension of their political power. They use police to harass, silence and prosecute their political enemies.
There is no law in America anymore. The Federal government is the enemy of the American people. Working folks are fed up with paying for the socialist give aways. There’s not much of a choice where this all ends up. Secession will be the first step. All you blue states can pay for your own free stuff.
Done properly a hanging breaks the neck and death is instantaneous. Done improperly death is by slow strangulation.
Americans don’t seem to get it right most of the time.
The Brits used to do a proper job of it.
