Hi All, I don't post here often, but I would greatly appreciate some prayers for me and my family as we navigate the painful predicament we find ourselves to be in. My 18-year old black short-hair cat, Salem, was diagnosed with feline leukemia last Friday. Over the last two weeks, he has progressively gotten more lethargic, has eaten less and less, and has been shedding quite significantly. We took him to our local veterinarian on Friday given these troubling symptoms and were informed of Salem's diagnosis by the vet. Last night, we made the difficult decision to euthanize him this...

...'If you can go out to eat, you can come back to work'... Gorman said on Monday he'll be 'very disappointed' if staff don't come back voluntarily by Labor Day..So far, Morgan Stanley hasn't mandated that anyone has to come back full-time ...That will change if people refuse, he said, and those who have left NYC for cheaper salaries can expect pay cuts if they want to work remotely. In NYC & San Francisco, only 21% of people have gone back to the office Cities in Texas and Florida - Republican states - have been more willing to return

President Joe Biden will hold a solo press conference following his summit in Switzerland with Russian President Vladimir Putin, avoiding what foreign policy experts warned could be a high-risk moment had he chosen to stand side-by-side with Putin while briefing the press. “We expect this meeting to be candid and straightforward, and a solo press conference is the appropriate format to clearly communicate with the free press the topics that were raised in the meeting — both in terms of areas where we may agree and in areas where we have significant concerns,” said a White House official. A key...

A new intelligence bulletin drafted by the FBI highlights the risk the QAnon conspiracy theory poses to the United States. The bulletin, obtained by NBC News, details followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory may commit political violence, after being radicalized by information shared online. The new strategy is being released just after NBC News obtained a new, unclassified FBI intelligence bulletin highlighting the risk that adherents of the conspiracy theory QAnon may commit political violence.

HARRISBURG — The bipartisan Special Committee on Election Integrity and Reform released a report today detailing its findings and recommendations to strengthen Pennsylvania’s election system. Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R-34) called for the creation of the committee in December to review all aspects of the November 2020 election. The committee held a series of hearings in March and April to review election security and best practices in other states, state and local perspectives on the administration of elections, and the management of elections in Allegheny and Philadelphia counties. In addition, the committee created a webpage to encourage Pennsylvanians...

Led by Second Amendment advocate Rep. Richard Hudson, 141 Republicans (and likely more to come) are targeting a revived rule from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives backed by the Justice Department to turn AR-style pistols into expensive, hard to get guns. In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and acting ATF Director Marvin Richardson, Hudson wrote, ..“This proposed guidance is alarming and jeopardizes the rights of law-abiding gun owners and disabled combat veterans across the country.”....He was joined by 140 other Republicans, including the No. 2 and No. 3 GOP leaders, Reps. Steve Scalise and Elise...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a televised address this week, President Biden voiced support for the LGBTQ community and promised to honor them with a commitment to not only sniff women's hair, but also men's hair. "Look-- I've been sniffing the hair of women and girls for many decades," said Biden. "It's time for me to recognize the accomplishments of the LGBT folks. I'm maybe gonna get in trouble for this, but if you're a man, I just may sniff your hair. That's because I'm not homophobic. I ain't afraid to sniff a dude! Come on, man!" Biden was then quickly led off...

Just call him the Dippin’ Dots bandit. According to the Tyler PD, the Polo shirt wearing man pictured here dropped through the ceiling above the Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream inside Broadway Square, 4601 S. Broadway Ave., while the store was closed and grabbed a bag of the frozen treats. And he did it “all while licking on a sucker!” a post on the department’s Facebook page says. “Then he shimmied back through the hole and left into the night,” says the PD. His illegal quest for Dippin’ Dots deliciousness was captured on a security camera. Those who recognize the man...

President Joe Biden dismissed the possibility of an early entry for Ukraine into NATO on Monday, claiming the nation has to “clean up corruption” for the military alliance to trust it. Biden himself, and his son Hunter, have been the focus of years of investigation into the younger Biden’s affiliations with Ukrainian oligarchs, particularly his hiring by the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma that leaked emails appeared to indicate was directly the result of those oligarchs seeking influence with then-Vice President Biden.

Firstly, in keeping with the 'Skyrim in space' descriptor, Howard confirmed that Starfield will be playable in both first- and third-person. This is the case in both Bethesda's Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. Bethesda game worlds have always included lively NPCs, to the point where leaving them out at launch for Fallout 76 was massively controversial. So it's good to hear that you're not the only person in Starfield. But beyond just potentially other humans, you might encounter alien species as well. Howard didn't describe any of the alien races players might encounter but says "There is a way we...

Washington (CNN)The Trump-era Justice Department's decision to secretly seize data of Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee went even beyond the nefarious actions of former President Richard Nixon, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday. The California Democrat also believes former Attorneys General Jeff Sessions and William Barr, as well as former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, should testify before Congress. "What the administration did, the Justice Department, the leadership of the former President goes even beyond Richard Nixon. Richard Nixon had an enemies list. This is about undermining the rule of law," Pelosi told CNN's Dana Bash Sunday on "State...

================================================================================== Scientists at Columbia University have created the world's smallest single-chip system—complete wireless electronic circuits that can monitor conditions in the body. The chips, called "motes," have a total volume of less than one cubic millimeter, making them smaller than microscopic dust mites. No, these microchips can't be used to track you; they can only communicate outside the body with an ultrasound machine. ================================================================================== Your next doctor's appointment could soon become much more informative thanks to new microchips the size of dust mites, only visible beneath a microscope. What will the military, the Supreme Court, and the people eventually do? How will the military, the Supreme Court, and the masses react to the outcome? How will the military move, how will the Supreme Court rule, and eventually do the masses rise up and take to the streets...if it becomes clear that the presidential election of 2020 was compromised, was stolen, or at the very least had way too many abnormalities and illegalities and thus the wrong person is possibly sitting in the White House? What happens if it becomes clear that President Trump was re-elected and the Progressives...

Georgia Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has opened an investigation into Fulton County for allegedly violating state rules "requiring absentee ballot drop box transfer forms to be filled out," his office confirmed to CNN on Monday...... Fulton County spokeswoman Jessica Corbitt-Dominguez told CNN in a statement that the county "followed procedures for the collection of absentee ballots from Fulton County drop boxes." "We maintain a large quantity of documents and researching our files from last year to produce the ballot transfer forms," Corbitt-Dominguez said. "We have been in communication with the Secretary of State's office to update them of...

President Biden broke his own standard of the political protocol by attacking his Republican rivals during an overseas summit — but escaped scrutiny from the same media that ripped former President Donald Trump for similar moves. The commander-in-chief claimed the Republican party was “fractured” and Trump only had “phony populism” as he spoke at a press conference after a NATO summit in Brussels on Monday. Like his “clown show” from yesterday wasn’t enough he embarrassed our country this morning again! Quoting Irish poet W. B. Yeats at the start of his first EU-U.S. summit as president, Biden also said the...

Is the pandemic over? It all depends. Here’s how Gov. Phil Murphy put things today. “This is becoming a pandemic of un-vaccinated individuals.” Of the 260 New Jerseyans who contracted COVID over the last few days, the governor said the overwhelming majority of them probably have not been vaccinated. Supporting that statement, Murphy said studies show that the vaccination success rate is above 99 percent. So, it’s logical to assume those coming down with the virus these days have not gotten their shots. As of today, the state has vaccinated more than 4.5 million individuals. Murphy announced a goal of...
