“Lindsey Graham is a problem at this point for me. Lindsey Graham is DACA. Lindsey Graham is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee that spent four years promising to prosecute people like Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Page, Strozk. He never did it. I don’t understand why. Lindsey Graham is the guy who advised the President not to present an affirmative defense about the fact that that election was stolen from him. And the fact that he flits around and still is in the Trump orbit, I think that’s a big problem. Because there’s not a single piece of advice Lindsey Graham...

The state Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the murder conviction of a man whose public defender argued a “warrior gene” predisposed him to impulsive violence — making him incapable of forming the intent to kill his victim. Anthony Blas Yepez was convicted of second-degree murder in 2015 for the 2012 beating death of 75-year-old George Ortiz of Santa Fe.

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand appears to be giving Gov. Andrew Cuomo a long leash on the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by a former aide — despite once leading the charge that led to then-Sen. Al Franken’s resignation over similar claims. “I have not read her allegations or her post, her Medium post,” Gillibrand told reporters on a call Thursday afternoon — a day after Cuomo accuser Lindsey Boylan came forward igniting widespread media coverage. “But as I said, everyone has a right to be able to come forward, speak their truth, and be heard. And that’s true...

Washington state senators have teed up a mileage-based tax for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles as the first step toward changing how the state pays for road maintenance and other transportation needs. Policymakers expect gas tax revenue to decline long term. Oregon has been experimenting with a per-mile charge for years. Right now, Washingtonians who own fully electric cars pay an extra $225 annual registration fee. A proposal by state Sen. Rebecca Saldaña (D-Seattle) would replace that flat fee beginning in July 2026 with a mandatory 2 cents per mile road usage charge for electric cars and plug-in hybrids. Electric...

For decades, Illinois House speaker Michael Madigan dominated the state’s political system, corrupting it to his own ends. What should we make of his ouster? The Chicago machine turned out some of the most notorious names in American public corruption, including Anton Cermak, Richard J. Daley, and Ed Kelly. The machine also turned out Mike Madigan, who ruled over Illinois politics for 50 years, 36 of which he spent calling the shots as House speaker. Most people thought Madigan would only leave office in handcuffs or a casket. Most people were wrong. For the first time since 1970, “the Velvet...

This week, Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today decided to investigate an increasingly popular question pertaining to this whole ordeal: did Woods fall asleep at the wheel? “To me, this is like a classic case of falling asleep behind the wheel, because the road curves and his vehicle goes straight,” Jonathan Cherney, a consultant who provides car accident analysis as an expert witness in court cases and former police detective, told USA Today. “It’s a drift off the road, almost like he was either unconscious, suffering from a medical episode or fell asleep and didn't wake up until he was off...

Gov. Andrew Cuomo was set to be the primary honoree at the LGBT Bar of New York’s 2021 gala but when news broke of allegations he sexually harassed a former aide, he was scrubbed from the event. Early Wednesday, a few hours before a Medium post on the alleged harassment was published, the LGBT Bar of New York sent an email announcing Cuomo as this year’s “Community Vision Award Recipient.” “For decades, the LGBT Bar Association Foundation of Greater New York, LeGaL, has bestowed the Community Vision Award upon individuals or organizations with a distinguished record of service to the...

The World Economic Forum, founded by Klaus Schwab in 1970, hosts a yearly January gathering of global corporate and political elites in Davos, Switzerland. Annually, it draws hundreds of private jets, as attendees gather to assure the rest of us that we must tighten our belts and sacrifice our standard of living in order to reduce carbon emissions. It calls itself: …the foremost creative force for engaging the world's top leaders in collaborative activities to shape the global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of each year. That sounds an awful lot like powerful people conspiring with each other...

The players claim that a pro-Trump rally held near the campus shows that some protests are OK with the school. But the school pointed out that the Trump rally was held on city streets, not college grounds. That didn’t satisfy the players: “So it’s OK for everyone to have a Trump rally with Confederate flags, but it’s not OK for us to kneel for our people who’ve fallen,” Christian said. “He didn’t have an answer for that.” This is the mind of a child in the body of a college athlete. The Trump rally was not on the college grounds....

Cougar Encounter in Utah | Mountain Lion Stalks Me For 6 Minutes! I found what I thought were bobcats on the trail during a run. Turns out they were cougar cubs and their mother was not happy to see me. She escorted me for over six minutes to get me away from her cubs. Although she was acting very aggressive, the cougar had no intent on hurting me. The mother cougar was most likely caught off guard and did what she had to do to protect her cubs. Mama, cubs, and I are safe.

President Biden and First Lady Jill traveled to Houston on Friday to meet with Governor Abbott and local officials in the aftermath of the winter storm that ravaged the state two weeks ago. Biden tried to play Comforter-in-Chief. Jill was by his side in the role of his handler. Biden’s performance in Houston should alarm anyone paying attention. It is easy to understand why Jill came along. Not only did he botch the names of elected officials – including calling Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee “Shirley”, as he delivered a speech, he did himself no favors when he asked out loud, “Where...

The imbecilic derangement of the so-called “woke” culture warriors is shown perfectly by their politically correct focus on the gender reassignment of a plastic potato. Some say move on, it is just a toy and its maker, Hasbro, is merely trying to rebrand its iconic toy by removing the sexist “Mr.” from in front of “Potato Head” on the toy’s marketing and packaging. I would argue that it is more than that. As a toy, it is a way of reaching, and brainwashiung, our children, of continuing the left’s attack on the nuclear family, of fundamentally transforming society in a...

Mayor Jim Kenney (D) is responding to Philadelphia’s surge in gun violence by pushing for more gun control laws. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports “294 people” have already been shot in Philadelphia this year, with 76 individuals dying. Kenney blames the violence on what he views as a lack of gun control. He said, “We must stop the unabated flow of guns into our city.” Kenney is interested in laws requiring stolen guns to be reported within a set period of time, licensing requirements for gun owners, and limits on the number of guns Philadelphia residents can purchase. He claimed such...
