Happy wet Sunday evening all...
A strong lineup with some Bing and ending strong with...Michael Shayne...Mystery In The Air...and Suspense!
How are you?
Evening, folks.
How’s it going?
Haven’t said Hi in awhile... Thanks for Sunday post....!
Called the pharmacy in high dudgeon last week about my insulin. They alternately blamed A: the USPS, B: the snowstorms (which occurred three days after I placed the order), and C: a stuck record in the computer. I said if they don’t overnight it I’ll D: drive up there and take it from them. Been giving myself shots since Wednesday. LOL Although they’re not far off about the USPS - they’re really screwing things up. It took weeks for them to deliver Christmas gifts I ordered for my sisters back in December; they finallly arrived in the beginning of February, so I went to the post office and shipped them. My sister in Pittsburgh got hers two weeks ago; my sister in Cumberland still hasn’t seen hers. All the tracking info just says is ‘In Transit, Arriving Late’. How’s things in Ballmer? The temp hit 83 here today. Connie actually got out of bed Friday night and turned the A/C on. Got rain the next few days and it’ll get us back to more seasonal weather. It plays with my feet and irks me.
Thank you!
:D
My pleasure.
All is good up here but it’s wet. We can still get snowstorms in March so we’ll see how it goes.
Happy Sunday night!
Yep, some years when they do the Hooley Plunge at Deep Creek, they have to shovel the Honi-Honi Bar out and use boats to break up the ice on the beach. My sister doesn’t do the Dunk, but she’s a pro at the Pub Crawl. Like a zombie. LOL As an aside, the doctor who started the Hooley traditions up there died last week from COVID, they say. Bummer.
Sad.
I’ve never done a “plunge” and probably never will.
Hi, Guys! I was listening to the President’s CPAC speech, so I just now checked in here. Hope y’all’re doing okay.
Hi Gina. Made some wings this weekend and a good potato salad.
Mmmmm! Sounds good, Vision! We’re doing ribeyes on the grill tonight, while beef is still legal. ha.
Ha - do you think I’m gonna jump into an icewater lake, even for charity? At my age and health? You’d have to notify my next of kin within 60 seconds. “Hello, ma’am? Did you leave a fat corpse-cicle on the beach?” 🤣
